37 -21 Zhunti Leads to Kunlun_2

The woman sneered coldly, “Hmph, you think it’s that simple!

Seven Killings, unite!” As her words were spoken, the seven fire dragons suddenly converged toward the center, turning into a single purple fire dragon.

It resisted the suction force of the bowl and charged straight for Zhunti’s chest.

“Cease harming my fellow disciple!” Jieyin sprang up from atop the Five-Colored Cloud Camel, furiously mustering up eighty percent of his True Yuan, and with a shout, he bellowed, “Om!”

Like the first heavenly sound at the dawn of Heaven and Earth, it penetrated through time and shone upon the Origin of Primordial, cutting through ancient and modern times.

A giant Buddha manifested behind Jieyin, who opened its enormous mouth, sending an invisible wave of sound spreading from Jieyin’s position.

The purple fire dragon, touched by the sound waves, quickly disintegrated and vanished.

The woman was stunned for a moment.

Left with only twenty percent of his True Yuan, Jieyin admitted defeat to the unknown woman before him.

Thus, retracting his cloud camel, he grabbed Zhunti and dashed straight toward East Kunlun.

The elegant woman, having regained her senses, sneered haughtily.

Glancing at the heavily damaged Maple Forest, she gritted her teeth in resentment and chased after Jieyin in his direction of escape.

During their chase and evasion, they quickly crossed West Kunlun and reached the East Kunlun Mountains.

Holding Zhunti, Jieyin descended from the mountain peak and looking at the giant placard of Yujing Mountain, he called out loud, “This humble Western Guide Daoist, carrying my fellow disciple Zhunti Daoist, has come to pay a visit to our senior!

Requesting the presence of our senior for an audience!”

The woman hesitated for a moment.

Then remembering the ravaged West Kunlun, she leaped down from the clouds, threw a giant bead straight at Jieyin, and shouted, “Thief, let’s see where you can escape to this time!”

Jieyin, drained of strength, could only sigh helplessly, closing his eyes as he braced for the bead to hit.

To his surprise, after a long wait, the bead did not fall, prompting him to open his eyes.

Oddly, the bead hung suspended in mid-air.

A strapping young man clad in dark robes, with piercing eyes and sword-like brows, stood underneath Yujing Mountain’s placard.

Casting a curious glance at the group, the youth then spoke, “The great ancestor has decreed that a visitor from afar is a guest, please follow me.”

“Kindly lead the way, Fellow Daoist!” Relieved from his predicament, Jieyin quickly latched onto the young man’s words, helped up Zhunti, bowed, and followed.

The woman withdrew her bead and tidied up her appearance.

Giving Jieyin a fierce glare, she too followed the young man up the steps.

“Great Ancestor, your disciple Qinglingzi has returned with the three Daoists as ordered!” Li Qingquan led the three to Zixiao Palace, bowed, and reported.

Sitting at the center on a cushion, Hong Jun, with a faint smile, waved his sleeve and said, “No need for such formalities!”

“Junior disciple Jieyin (and Zhunti) pays respect to the senior!” said Jieyin, as he and Zhunti bowed in reverence.

“This humble woman, The Queen Mother of the West, from West Kunlun, has seen Fellow Daoist!” The woman also bowed.

“Hehe!

What brings the three of you into conflict?” asked Hong Jun with a warm chuckle, akin to a friendly old neighbor.

“Humph!

Hypocritical!” Yang Mei Immortal, seated at the same level as Hong Jun, couldn’t help but snort coldly upon seeing Hong Jun’s affable smile.

Li Qingming stood aside, grinning, but inwardly mused, “Damn, has Primordial gone mad?

How did these two bump into Hong Jun already?

The old man better not get all excited and decide to take them in as his disciples right now!”

“These two thieves trespassed onto my West Kunlun, assaulted my Guardian Mountain Spirit Beast, and even attempted to take over West Kunlun, truly the epitome of shamelessness!

I seek Fellow Daoist’s discerning judgment!” The Queen Mother’s pretty face flushed with fury, pointed at Jieyin and his companion in anger.

Hong Jun waved his hand, looked at Jieyin and his companion, and asked, “Fellow Daoists, is what The Queen Mother of the West has claimed true?”

“Senior!

We have been wrongfully accused!” Jieyin had not begun to speak when Zhunti burst into tears and said, “Senior, my brother and I have traveled from the Western realms to West Kunlun, attracted by the beautiful scenery and abundant Spiritual Energy.

We intended to rest a bit before coming to visit you.

But as soon as we entered the ethereal space, that pesky Tian Wu appeared out of nowhere, attacking us with claws and teeth bared.

We had no choice but to fight back.

And we certainly did not harm Tian Wu in any way!”

Glancing covertly at Hong Jun, Zhunti continued, “We intended to contain Tian Wu, not suspecting it to be someone’s Spirit Beast.

Then The Queen Mother of the West appeared and, without asking for reasons, repeatedly assaulted us.

We showed restraint at every turn, never using lethal force.

However, The Queen Mother used deadly moves, and we did not wish to hurt her.

Left with no choice, we fled to the senior’s domain for refuge, and seek your discernment, senior!”

The Queen Mother of the West turned red with rage, trembling uncontrollably as she shouted, “Zhunti, you are truly the epitome of shamelessness!”

Li Qingming thought to himself, “Indeed, he has quite the silver tongue.

If you can’t beat her, just admit defeat!

Pretending to show restraint as if you could best The Queen Mother of the West?

Absolutely delusional!”

Hong Jun, glancing sideways at Li Qingming, smiled and said, “I am now aware of the cause of your struggle.

In truth, it’s not a significant matter.

Zhunti Daoist, this conflict arose from your mistakes; you should really ask how The Queen Mother of the West wishes to resolve this karma.”

At this, Jieyin’s worried expression fell once again.

Zhunti, not expecting such a statement from Hong Jun, felt awkward and after a long pause, bowed to The Queen Mother of the West standing to the side and said, “Fellow Daoist, the fault lies with us!

Please forgive us!”
