'Wait, who are these guys?' Dustin thought to himself as he noticed two figures walking towards him. They looked like loan sharks coming to collect their money from a debtor, but Dustin was sure he was not the person being targeted. He was pretty sure they came there for the quest, so he just carried on walking back to the town.

'What kind of people rush to buy rusty armour like these using their first earnings? They just had to choose a hard quest to get more rewards then, since they still have to survive.' Dustin said in his mind.

He wasn't sure what their motive was, whether they intended to do the quest together or not? Thinking about that, Dustin wasn't sure if the quest could be even done with more than two people to begin with. He was very sure there was no specification about how many people the quest required. It didn't matter in the end, he was able to solo it, so there was no problem on his side.

It would be better if the quest could be done by more than one person, as it would make it easier for the others to survive and reduce fatalities. Also, Dustin also wondered if the dungeon would be created for two people that enter at the same time if didn't allow for collaboration.

'All this thinking is useless. I don't think the way the dungeon operates is any of my concern, so that's that.'

..

"Hey bro, look at that guy walking over. He seemed to have just come out of the quest too." Nathan said as he sighted Dustin.

"Yeah, but didn't you see the blue light around his body? He probably used the return stone, so maybe he couldn't complete the quest to begin with." Marcel responded.

"Yeah, that's true."

"Just forget about him."

The two brothers walked past Dustin, and from what they could see, it would be hard for anyone to believe that he just came out of a quest area. If nothing else, he was a weakling and a coward who didn't even dare to put up a fight against the monsters. Truly pathetic they thought.

"But, if that's the case, then how did he manage to get his hands on the return stone?" Nathan said.

"If he was a weakling, he wouldn't even be able to reach that point, right?" Nathan asked.

"There's that. Also, the fact that the return stone cannot just be randomly gotten unless a monster is killed is also another point." Marcel spoke.

At this point, they were confused for a bit, but they quickly went over. Maybe he wasn't as bad as they were, and if he was truly able to fight against monsters and still come out clean and unscathed, then he would be a very strong person.

"That guy. Did you catch what he looked like?" Marcel asked.

"No, but I might be able to recognize him if I see him next time."

"Well that good enough, we should at least try to recruit him into our order. Well, that's for later. For now, let's focus on the quest."

..

"The quest was so easy that I'm actually tired from boredom." Dustin said as he walked back to the town.

For him, killing any monster was incredibly easy, as long as it wasn't A rank and above. All he had to do was command it to remain ideal, and he would just take its head. If he fought any lower rank monster, it would be for the fun of it. The only time Dustin could actually say he would have to fight seriously was when facing another human, or another being that he couldn't control. As for other beings, the possibility of him meeting them was slim, at least for now, so he didn't worry much about it.

"By the time I meet any other such being outside my control or monsters higher than A rank, I should have become of a higher rank myself right? So it won't be a problem." Dustin said, while walking towards the town's gate. He had gotten close.

After Dustin entered the town, he made his way to the town's hall first to collect his reward. Dustin walked inside the collection centre to collect his rewards for completing the quest, and unlike the last time he was there, people were everywhere inside. Some of the people were just inside doing one thing or the other, while majority seemed to be lined up to collect their reward before the statues. 𝘧r𝗲𝑒𝔀𝘦𝙗𝓃oν𝑒l.𝐜𝗼m

'Seems I'll have to join the queue.'

Dustin hadn't expected it, but the number of people that went out to do quests was more than he would expect, and the number of those that had completed collected quests were also this much. He would have bet that there would be fewer people, or is it that he spent that much time in the quest area doing his own quest? There was no way.

Dustin followed the queue until it was his turn, along with five others, since the people advanced in sets of fives to collect their reward.

Sure enough, if Dustin didn't cause a scene, no one else was qualified. Even back on earth where he was among the powerless, he still managed to cause quite a few in places. While everyone else received small pouches with monster cores inside them, Dustin's reward was a sack, though not nearly as filled as the ones he received when he first came to the collection centre; it was still plenty when compared to what others were getting. It was like receiving a while cow while others were given chickens.

It might have looked like he cheated to some, but that was the reaction that short sighted people and low lives had. Any other person that saw the sack and compared it to theirs knew just how much it would have taken for him to get such an amount. It only showed the number of monsters he had fought and killed. They couldn't even begin to imagine the amount of points he received after completing his quest.

"Just what kind of quest did that guy do to get such plenty reward?"

"Who is that guy?"

"Where did such a guy come from?"

"Becoming his girl is the surest way forward, I can see it!"

..

The multitude of people within the collection area were going crazy after seeing Dustin receiving the sack, and the murmur was something that couldn't be hidden as collectively, it became a noise. fre𝑒𝘸𝚎𝚋n૦ѵℯl.c𝒐𝘮

They kept going at it, and Dustin quite alright knew the cause of the noise was him, so he gently walked out of the collection hall, and as he did the people gave way for him like he was some celebrity.

'How I wish the normal fantasy setting of someone coming to block my path and rob me will play out right now.' Dustin said in his mind as he exited the collection centre.
