The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?-Chapter 352 349- Thief The Lot Of Them!!
“Halt!! Step any closer and you’ll be trespassing in the Li Imperial Palace. If you don’t want to be executed then get lost!”
Two guards' robes fluttered as they suddenly appeared out of nowhere to block Long Feng who was walking towards the large golden gates.
The guards both released their late-stage Core Formation Realm cultivation base to pressure Long Feng. They had seen when he suddenly appear in the air before falling to the ground. It seemed he had teleported past the city’s grand formation before being suppressed by their Clan treasure.
From the Qi fluctuation around him, they could also tell he was at the peak of the Core Formation Realm. The fact that he could teleport with that level of cultivation, and was even able to bypass the city’s grand formation, made them apprehensive of this youth.
What's more, they realize he hadn't even flinched when their aura was pressuring him. He only swept his pupil-less eyes across them which immediately sent a shiver down this guards' spines. They even involuntarily took a step back.
Whispers came from the crowd that was forming as people stop to watch this person’s crazy actions.
Long Feng frowned at this situation.
If he, Lon Feng, wanted to go somewhere, was there anywhere on this backwater continent he couldn’t go? Who would dare stop him?
Just when Long Feng was going to forcefully push past these guards, the golden gates suddenly opened and an old man came walking out.
This old man was Fulong’s disciple, and the one Li Shen had seen hiding in a void the first time he left the Training Dimension.
This old man cupped his fists towards Long Feng and said respectfully.
“Greeting Young Master Long Feng. As the First Inner Clan elder of the Li Clan, I extend an apology Young Master for the poor welcome. My Li Clan were not expecting your presence.”
The First elder then stepped aside and motioned with his hand for Long Feng to follow him.
Long Feng nodded his head with an indifferent expression on his face. He then walked with Little Xiao next to him through the gate, but upon passing the two guards he slowed down a bit and his cold eyes swept across them.
The two guards seeing this were quick on the uptake, so they quickly cupped their fists and bowed while saying in unison.
“We apologize to Young Master Long Feng.”
Long Feng said nothing as his gaze left the two guards, but a satisfied expression could briefly be seen on his face.
The First elder seeing this said nothing and only led Long Feng inside the Li Imperial Palace.
Long Feng upon entering the Palace immediately released a frown.
“I apologize for this situation, but I hope Young Master Long can understand. Our Clan is just taking precautions based on the chaos the continent was going through recently.”
“... It's fine.”
Long Feng said after a while, his soon expression returned to normal. However, his heart was secretly releasing loud thuds.
Immediately as he entered, about a dozen strong gazes landed on him that sent shivers down his spine. If he wasn’t wrong, all those gazes belong to someone in the Nascent Soul Realm. f𝔯ℯe𝓌ℯ𝐛𝒏𝐨ѵel.c𝚘𝐦
It wasn’t like he put Nascent Soul Realm experts in his eyes, even Soul Transformation Realm cultivators aren’t much to him from the many he interacted with back home. But anyone feels uncomfortable when they were suddenly bombarded by the stares of so many all at once.
It affected him so much he rein in his arrogance a bit. Not out of fright but out of courtesy and where he was. For this Li Clan to have one of the Four Mystic Treasures of the Qin Clan on the Central Continent, perhaps the connection between them wasn’t as simple as a branch of the qin Clan that had their Golden Lotus Ancient Bloodline.
As the First elder led Long Feng inside the Palace, little Xiao was busy turning his head left and right while he sniffed the air. His sparkling eyes betrayed the excitement in his heart.
Meanwhile, Long Feng was casually looking at the pavilions.
He was unimpressed, he saw way better craftsmanship in his Clan.
However, Long Feng suddenly sensed something and his body instinctively flickered away.
The First elder sensed that Long Feng was no longer following him and he turn around only to see little Xiao unconsciously turning left, heading in a completely different direction all while sniffing the air.
Long Feng soon came to a stop in front of a wide-open area at the end of a path. His hand stretched out, but he immediately had to pull t back as a spark of electricity suddenly prang from the void to attack him.
Long Feng's scalp went numb as he sense the terrifying aura just this spark of electricity was releasing.
“This is the residue of a Heavenly Calamity, did a Heavenly Calamity perhaps occur here.”
“Indeed Young Master Long.”
The First elder said as he appeared a step behind Long Feng.
“What was the cause of this Heavenly Calamity?”
Long Feng asked, but a hesitant expression appeared on the First elder’s face.
“Is this a secret matter of your clan? If so, then I apologize for prying.”
Long Feng was indeed a bit arrogant and looked down on the powers in this sub-region, but this wasn’t the way he did things. He was in the Li Clan and was being treated as a guest, it was inappropriate for him to come in and start questioning them about sensitive matters of their clans, no matter his status.
“No, that isn’t the case.”
The First elder said before he released a depressed sigh.
“The rumors of this event have already been spread across the Continent so it’s not a secret. The reason for my hesitation is that like most of the Li Clan members now, we are in mourning and it’s a hard topic to discuss. Our Second Prince was the one that had triggered a Heavenly Calamity, and unfortunately, his whereabouts are now unknown.”
Long Feng heard that and remained silent for a bit. He took note of the fact that the First elder said this Second Prince’s whereabouts were unknown, not that he was outright dead. Perhaps it was just to lessen the loss, but maybe there was a valid reason why he would phrase it like that.
“This Second Prince, it seems he was quite talented. To trigger a Heavenly Calamity isn’t something normal people could do. But how come I haven't heard of people talking about him? I have heard of your Crown Prince being praised for his outstanding talents, but your Second Prince. No, I indeed have heard of his name now that I think about it, but he was referred to as a trash that can't cultivate. What is his name, Li Shen was it?”
Long Feng was starting to get more curious about this matter. The dichotomy of this Second Prince's outstanding talents triggering a Heavenly Calamity and the views people had of him on the outside was really fascinating.
'Was he one of those geniuses that purposely hid his talents?'
Long Feng had heard of people like that before back home.
Someone of the younger generation who was once thought to be unremarkable suddenly burst out with talents far surpassing their peers. And it wasn’t due to any treasure or anything of the sort, but due to their raw natural talent, they’ve been hiding for so long.
Long Feng would have liked to meet this Second Prince, he seemed pretty interesting. That and because of another shocking aura he sensed besides this Heavenly Calamity.
The First elder went to speak, but he suddenly paused for a moment and then said.
“Young Master Long, our Patriarch has requested your visit.”
“Oh? Where are my manners, I suppose it is a given to meet your Clan Patriarch. Lead the way.”
It seemed like Long Feng had completely lost interest in this Heavenly Calamity, and finding out more about Li Shen. However, his heart was slowly starting burning in anger as his thoughts raced with suspicion.
‘It can’t be a coincidence can it?’
Long Feng thought to himself.
‘I sensed the usage of Time Laws inside that place similar to the ones I sensed where that masked thief was. Hidden talents? Time Laws? Could this Second Prince actually be that masked thief? He must be, all the evidence is there to make my conclusion blatantly obvious. Fucking bastard, where did you go? I’ll definitely find and catch you before making you regret stealing my Dragon Qi.’
As he walked, Long Feng found it hard to conceal his emotions as his face would twitch ever so slightly.
One thing he discovered in that place was a void tearing energy. It was minuscule because it was so long and the laws in the area were already stabilizing, but he clearly sensed it. A power that was capable of ripping open the void.
Meaning that Second Prince had definitely escaped.
Long Feng’s hands were twitching as well while he imagine strangling this Second Prince. It was his luck to decide to come here, perhaps this was the work of the heavens so he could seek justice for the wrong he had been faced with.
Soon, the First elder led Long Feng to the main throne room.
“Our Patriarch is inside waiting for Young Master Long.”
Long Feng indifferently nodded before he unceremoniously entered. His arrogance had dialed back up again.
Since the thief who stole his Dragon Qi was a part of this Clan, why would he show any respect to them? To raise a thief, everyone in this clan must be a thief as well then.
‘Thief the lot of them!!’
