The Gentle Maiden and Five Lustful Brothers-Chapter 113: He’s got a bomb
Chapter 113: He’s got a bomb
It had been three weeks since everything happened, and Violet found out she was pregnant.
In that time so many changes were made. Viktoria and Victor head back to their home in Bucharest.
Viktor and Viktoria moved to London to try and start anew. They would be at the ceremony, but Viktoria having moved on from Ash and freed by Violet from her own emotional restrictions, she was ready to search for a mate. Viktor was rejected by Arya, so he wanted to leave with his sister. The house was getting smaller and smaller.
Gabriel decided to move downstairs vacating the top floor room, they could turn the office as a nursery, the room fitted their needs. Jeremy and Rosa had become inseparable, they would be moving into the guest house after the coronation.
King Vladimir decided he would be stepping down from his throne to let Prince Asher and pursue his goals. He was to host a coronation ceremony next week in Bucharest, Romania where his main castle was. It would be a lavish ceremony, sparing no expense. The man was elated to be getting away from the politics and drama of the crown. Vlad was confident his son and daughter-in-law would do a great job leading them. And If anything went wrong, Violet could just manipulate the minds of the vampires.
Violet was nervous about traveling across the world to Romania, she didn’t want to take the throne until after her daughter was born, but Vlad insisted. He was practically throwing them at his throne. He had been working relentlessly to prepare for the ceremony. It was his last "hoorah" or so they say.
Violet was officially showing her small bump protruding from her abdomen. She changed her style from doll dresses to regency style dresses, leaving her dresses loose from the ribs down, restricting her tummy had become uncomfortable, she only wore soft and smooth materials because her skin became so sensitive. Cotton felt like sandpaper. Satin and silk and sheer dresses had become the new norm. It was very becoming of her. She moved like a goddess across the ground, the way the dress moved with ease around her steps gave her the illusion of flying.
Ash was infatuated with her and their daughter, struggling with preparing to take over the throne and those responsibilities because of his desperation to stay close to them. Not only was he scared if he wasn’t around something would happen to her again. He was terrified of losing both of them. Having one more person to deeply worry about only made life more stressful for Ash. Even though he never his little girl was strong
The baby growing inside was very opinionated, and with Violet’s ability to connect with vampires’ thoughts her and her daughter would often converse. People who didn’t know about her thought she had lost her mind, sitting and talking out loud to no one was bound to make anyone look a bit unhinged. When someone got to close to Violet Odette would expel them from her mother’s close proximity. People started to stand a good distance back, for fear of being tossed on their asses. Whenever Ash and her fought, Odette would defend her mother and force her father back. It was like an invisible energy wave that came from Violet’s stomach would push anyone around her away. She was a very powerful telekinetic. One that made Ash feel like a proud father.
Before leaving her school, her and Arya grew closer, after Ursula left with what was left of her pack. The group felt the weight of Ursula’s absence. There wasn’t a single wolf shifter in the whole school since the attack. Rumors about the bloodbath had circulated the school and Violet was constantly bombarded with questions about what happened. But it was such a painful memory she never spoke about it.
Arya had started coming over daily and working with Violet on her new abilities. Sharpening her mind, Arya started dating Roland and when Violet found out and realized that’s why Viktor really left with Viktoria, she laughed so hard. No one really saw it coming. But after helping with the healers after the attack Roland and Arya had gotten close. Roland was still as indifferent and easily annoyed as ever. Him and Oliver still danced around their fighting. It had become a ritual whenever Arya and Roland came over, Oliver and him would start a fight out back and the girls just sit back and watch, laughing. Arya said she would do a reading for Odette before the coronation, they were waiting for the waxing moon that would come tomorrow night. It’s when Arya’s psychic abilities are at the highest. Both Violet and Ash were excited to hear what Arya has to say about their little girl.
Things slowly started to settle, and a new routine was beginning. Rosa, Arya and Violet would all be heading into town today to buy things for their upcoming trip to Romania. Arya was used to traveling. As a psychic witch part of her training is going to different countries and learning about their foresight practices. But Rosa and Violet weren’t, so they needed everything. New luggage, travel bags, travel toiletries and skin care. New clothes. Sizing for her coronation dress.
Because Rosa could only come out at night or on cloudy days, they had to wait until evening. The mall they planned to go to though, was a night citizen friendly mall. Violet had gone before with the brothers and Ash.
"It’s been so long since we’ve spent time together without the boys." Rosa says walking into the a mall. freewebnøvel.coɱ
"I know, it truly has been, I’ve missed you so much." Violet holds her hand. Violet could feel the eyes of her new bodyguards on her as she walked through the food court.
"I want to stop and get a milkshake before we start shopping." Violet points to one of the food vendors.
"I could so use a shake right now." Arya says hurrying over to the line. It was a late august evening, so it was warm outside, many people wanted something cold to drink, help them cool off.
"She’s so funny and cheery, hard to believe she would end up with a guy like Roland. He’s so aloof and quiet. The opposite of her." Rosa mentions to Violet.
"I know, but you could say the same about Ash and I. He’s all rough and serious and I’m all sweet and soft like a hot bun." Violet giggled as she walked with Rosa to join Arya in line.
Once they got to the counter they placed their order. Violet ordered Red Velvet, Rosa ordered chocolate and Arya ordered strawberry with M&M’s.
The girls enjoyed their drinks laughing. But Violet couldn’t shake this ominous feeling. She thought at first it was just the extra bodyguards. But it wasn’t and slowly she was realizing that.
On their way out of the food court someone yelled "He has a bomb!"
Chaos erupted, people were running to and fro, yelling and screaming. Children crying, clinging to their mothers. It was messy and destructive. People were in a panic.
"Settle down or the next shots I fire will be into the crowd!" A human man stood in the middle armed with a semi-automatic AR with enough C4 to light the whole place up killing everyone in it.
"I know this is a vampire hub, come out, come out where ever you are."
