Chapter 130: The Daughter of a Monster

The survivors of the CrystalBay Full Moon Gala Massacre arrived the Republic of Altay. A country buried deep in the mountains between Mongolia and Russia. It was the Wolf Shifter Capital.

The young prince of the BloodMoon Pack. Ambrose was given his first picture of his target. A young girl the age of 3.

The princess with hair like ice and eyes like blood. The daughter of a monster.

"Blood for Blood. Life for a life. Only way his debt can be repaid is by losing what he loves most."

"Ambrose, you don’t have to live your life with a vendetta against them." Ursula said to him. "You could move forward and find peace like some of us are trying too."

She never told anyone why the night happened. She didn’t think the people can handle the fact their loved ones died because their Alpha and their Alpha King played with the wrong princess, breaking the truce their forefathers fought hard to make.

Since the night of the Gala, she was the one Ambrose gravitated toward, so she became the one to raise him. If he valued anyone’s opinion, it was her. Telling the people would put his life in danger, and she began to think of him as her own child.

And she was the closest thing to a mother he’d ever get.

For the last three years, he was rebuilding the pack, he was learning to lead. Making alliances. Despite his thirst for vengeance, he was making himself out to be a mighty fine leader.

He watched his target grow up. Watched her train. Watched her and waited. Waited for when he could take his revenge against the people who ruined his life. Who destroyed families. Waited for the day he’d make them pay.

...........

Violet loved being a mother. Her and Rosa and Arya now spent endless days with one another watching their babies play.

Kalvin, Ayra’s and Roland’s son, was fierce and brave like a lion.

Delilah, Rosa’s and Jeremy’s daughter. She was beautiful and resilient, like a flower.

And Odette, Ash’s and Violet’s daughter, she was as beautiful and untouchable as moonlight.

The three were best friends. The three of them did everything together. They were inseparable.

Spending endless summers on the lawn watching the sunset, playing in Rosa and Jeremy’s pool.

Odette always cold and indifferent stood against anyone who bullied Kalvin for his bright red hair. And Delilah always sweet talked their way out of trouble. Kalvin who always came up with the plans that got them in trouble.

Ash started training Odette early, she showed potential with her reflexes, he wanted to get a head start. By the age of 10 Odette could use 3 forms of combat. She could fire a bow, wield a sword and kick any opponent between their legs, because yes, it still hurt girls. She was fast, silent, smooth, and deadly.

Odette was smart, too smart. When Violet tried to help her Odette make friends, and at first it was great, but then the girl went behind her back and kissed her best friend Kalvin. She beat the girl up and threatened her life. After that it made it hard for her to trust new people, so rather than risk a fake friend, she kept everyone at a distance.

Then because she didn’t come into her special abilities at 13 like the other vampire kids, she became a target for bullying. She was suspended from school once for beating up a boy who spilled his spaghetti all over her new dress on purpose. He pretended to be her friend and sat next to her at the lunch table, but when he got up, he pretended to accidentally dump his food on her head ruining her hair bows and dress. After getting in trouble and coming home and being forced to run drills, she stopped fighting back except in the gym classes where combat was allowed.

Her biggest bully was Raven. Raven was one of the only she-wolves in their school, she was confident and pretty and her ability was poison, so people wanted a friend with a cool ability. Raven made Odette’s life hell every day. Until one year she was finally placed in the same gym class as Odette.

The minute she saw Raven step into the gym it was over.

Odette would get her revenge.

When the coach asked who would volunteer for the first round of hand to hand. Odette was the first to raise her hand.

Raven smirked, thinking this would be an easy opportunity to put Odette in her place.

But what she didn’t except was for the princess of darkness to be as skilled in fighting as she was.

Raven never paid attention to the ranking, so she didn’t realize Odette was at the top of their school.

The minute the bell rang Odette was on Raven. Moving with vampire speed she crossed the ring before Raven could blink, slamming her fist into Raven’s diaphragm.

Raven choked, coughing, having Odette knock the wind from her. But Odette didn’t give her a chance to gather herself before landing another punch on Ravens cheek. Odette swung with such force it knocked Raven to the ground. Raven growled trying to get back up, by Odette kicked Raven in the jaw sending her flying several feet back.

Raven wiped her mouth from a little blood that was dripping off and charged at Odette, tired of getting her ass kicked, she tried to roundhouse kick Odette, only for Odette to grab her foot mid strike and snap her ankle.

Raven dropped to the ground letting out a scream. Her leg still held in the air by Odette.

"Do you yield." Odette hissed.

"Hell no. Now let me go so I can get up and kick your ass." Raven snapped back.

Odette gave her a twisted grin before dragging her around in a circle by her anger giving lift to Raven’s body. She swung Raven around while she screamed at the top of her lungs before sending her flying across the room in the wall. Cracking the cement with the impact. Odette went to charge again but was interrupted by the coach.

"Enough, I don’t want any more of my wall broken." The coach barked at her. Odette scoffed and walked off.

The crowd of classmates stood with their mouths gaping open, they’ve never seen Odette go for beast on anyone.

But right then fighting Raven, she looked like a fate worse than death. She oozed danger and destruction. Like the very ground she walked on, would crumble beneath her steps.

The other students now had a new unlocked fear level. They saw the monster that lurked beneath Odette’s flawless skin.

From that moment on, it became Raven’s sole goal in her school life, it was to beat Odette and recover from the humiliation she just experienced.

Odette couldn’t fight in school without getting in trouble at home, and now even in gym she was about to get in trouble.

The coach called her mom and dad to come to the school.

Odette sat defiantly in the back of the office. She was not going to back down this time, ’that bitch deserved it, and so much more. She asked for it when she stepped in that ring knowing she bullied me’ Odette thought to herself.

That night when Violet and Ash got home with Odette, Violet looked at her daughter with disappointment. "You could have really hurt her." Violet still hated confrontation even after all these years. She never trained; she avoided violence like the plague.

Ash was livid, his eyes glowing a crimson red, matching his daughters.

"You broke the cement wall, Odette, come on, she’s a classmate not a soldier in the manor. You can’t use excessive force like that with someone not as trained as your regular opponents." He was firm and stern with her "Why were you so aggressive with that girl?"

"She’s a dog dad, and not just any dog, she’s the one that bullies me in school. When I saw my chance I took it and beat the ever-living shit out of her." Odette spoke with a calm indifference, despite the looks her parents were giving her.

"You broke her ankle." Violet reminds her.

"Yeah, and now her ankle matches her ego. Broken." I snapped.

"Watch how you speak to your Mother, or I’ll have you running laps until dawn." Ash growled.

"Ugh... What’s my punishment then?" Odette asked annoyed and frustrated.

"Nothing, you. Beat up your bully, demonstrated your strength, and kicked a lowly dirty dog’s ass. The dog part gets you a get out of jail free card, and some ice cream."

Violet looked at Ash with furrowed eyebrows, clearly not pleased with Ash was handling this.

"No, she needs to do something else. She’s to bake the gym class cupcakes, including Raven, and no funny business." Violet ordered.

"Mom, seriously? Cupcakes? You’re kidding right?" Odette crossed her arms, frowning.

"Oh, I’m serious, you need to learn to be nicer. Don’t try and kill your bullies, just defend yourself." Violet instructed.

"First of all, if I wanted the girl dead, we’d be calling a clean-up crew, not my parents. Second, I’m good, I think if someone tries to hurt me, I’ll beat them up." Odette flashed a devilish smile.

"What am I going to do with you." Violet through her hands up, "Whatever, go get ice cream, but you’re baking cupcakes all night tonight, so enjoy your ice cream."
