The Gentle Maiden and Five Lustful Brothers-Chapter 214 - 100
***Author’s note: I’m still sick, it’s turned into walking pneumonia. So that’s cool. I’ll try and give a bonus Chapter***
Violet had seen her daughter. Ezelreth now knew Odette was her daughter and the MoonChild. Things couldn’t be worse.
Ezelreth had been growing in power and resources. Heading into villages and smaller towns turning the disabled and sick into monsters for his army.
Violet was collecting and storing what she could. She knew the time for the battle was drawing near.
"I have important business to discuss tonight, do not disturb me, under any circumstances. Anyone who enters will die. Am I clear?" Ezelreth told Theoron.
"Understood." Theoron knew better than to defy his orders. Despite the appearance of the person who gave the commands, the power held by them was immense and he had no doubt, anyone to enter that room would die.
Ezelreth left for his room and sealed the door. He set up a summoning circle with candles and chalk. Without flinching he sliced Violet’s palm. Blood flood from the wound into a bowl before it quickly sealed up.
He waved his hands over the cup and chanted in a language Violet didn’t understand. She watched intensely from the sidelines of her mind as Ezelreth blew out each candle one by one whispering a word Violet couldn’t hear.
Darkness enveloped them before the candles sparked on by one with a black flame flickering. The air chilled and thickened with decay and rot.
Violet felt her skin craw and every part of her consciousness went on high alert. A shadowed smokey figure faded into the middle of the circle.
"Ezelreth..." The shadowed figure had a voice so deep it made an abyss feel shallow. It carried so much depth and control. It carried an aura around it that was oppressive and suffocatingly cold.
"Father." Ezelreth answered back. A hint of admiration laced his voice.
The shadowed figure came more into focus. The haze dissipating.
Violet could see him more clearly now.
He was devilishly handsome. The kind that took your breath away and knocked you out. He tousled hair that looked so perfect. Eyes that glowed red, just like Ash’s when he was angry. Here ears were sharp and pointed. His hair blacker the ebony, his jaw line was sharp and strong. He had two fangs similar to her own.
He was so beautiful it hurt to look at him.
She loved Asher, but this man was truly a god. Not just in looks but in the way he stood before them.
’Ah, so this is the God Cerberus.’ He was responsible for the creation of vampires. For the misery befalling her family. He was drop dead beautiful.
"I assume you have located the MoonChild?" Cerberus asked.
Violet gulped. He sounded murderous and dangerous.
"Yes, father, I did. As it turns out, she’s related to my vessel. Fate couldn’t have been more ironically cruel."
His words were truer than Violet would like to admit.
"How do you plan to handle her? Do you even have a plan?" Cerberus narrowed his eyes. Fate was cruel. But he knew all too well the power love could hold. He’d loved Artemis. Still did.
"She looks like her. In this life. More like her that is. Something about her was different."
"She’s not born of mortal decent. She’ll be a much stronger opponent. You need to be ready." Cerberus would not tolerate failure this time around. He despised mortals. The finicky treacherous cunning creatures. He hated them.
His goal was simple, eliminate mortal beings. Leaving only his creations in this world. Cleansing it of its tainted blood and poisoned soil.
"And my body this time around is made of the same. We are true equals in power. I could feel it."
"Don’t let me down Ezelreth." The gods voice rumbled the walls. "You won’t survive another failure." His words were ominous and carried a threat to them.
"I won’t disappoint you, father. I will take down the MoonChild and free the world of these disgusting humans." Ezelreth spoke with such coldness it made Violet shiver.
"It seems the vampires aren’t joining you this time either. Traitors. Kill them all this time and make new ones. I don’t want them to breed on my world." Cerberus growled.
"Father, do you think I can have a body of my own once this is over. I don’t want to live in her body." Ezelreth asked. "I’d like to fuck this body. She’s quite the sight, isn’t she?" Ezelreth smirked, internally looking directly at Violet.
Violet felt her bile hit her throat.
Cerberus gazed over her body. "She’s nice." But he only had room in his heart and mind for one being. Artemis. She was his world. And when she chose to side with humans it broke him and only fueled his hatred more.
Ezelreth was oblivious to his father’s love for Artemis. He assumed he hated her. Despite that being far from the truth.
"You’ll get a new body once the MoonChild is defeated." Cerberus told him.
"Thank you, father."
With that the black flame candle flickered out. Smoke rose from the wick and with the darkness Cerberus disappeared. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"You’re disgusting." Violet growled.
"Sure am, and when I get out of this body of yours, I’m gonna fuck your brains out." He growled.
"If you touch me, I’ll eat you. I will rip your hands off your body. I would sooner die than let another man besides Ash touch me again." Violet bit back at him aggressively.
Ezelreth just laughed, "You’re cute little peach aren’t you."
Violet frowned. She wanted to lunge across her mind and strangle the other soul inhabiting her body with her.
When he exited the room Theoron was instantly approaching him.
"My source tells me the wolves are preparing for a gala. I was considering sending them a little present." Theoron offered his idea.
"What present?" Ezelreth asked intrigued.
"What if we send them a few of your monsters. A foreshadow to what is to come."
"Theoron, I think this is the best idea you have given me since we met." Ezelreth grinned.
"How many should we send?" Theoron asked.
"100."
