The time to leave came in the morning of the next day. A flying ship was leaving the city with some resources for the battlefield, so they created some room for him to come along with them.

The space in the flying ship that they could create for him was small, so he was also given the option of waiting a week for a bigger and more secure ship to come and pick him up.

But after thinking about how the Rein Family had been able to send someone into the initiation program to forcefully enslave him and how rank 5 beings and divine beings can do this if the Rein Family can, he decided that it was in his best interest to leave as soon as possible.

Besides the matter of danger to his life, he was also looking forward to riding in an airborne ship, so he quickly packed all of his stuff and hurriedly boarded the ship.

He got onto the ship even earlier than the other people who would leave with him. This gave him time to admire the flying ship.

He left his things in a small cabin and let his Life Ability continue to eat metal blocks to grow stronger. He, on the other hand, went to stroll across the deck of the ship while the rest of the crew busied themselves with loading the ship with supplies.

It took the crew a little over an hour to finish packing the supplies. Then the ship took off from the yard and went in the direction of the north.

As the ship sailed through the deck, Loki remained on the deck to admire it. What he saw made him clink his tongue in wonder and say, "What kind of technological progression led to this, a ship for sailing in the water, sailing in the air?"

The flying looked exactly like a ship for sailing the high seas. It was made of wood and had masts and sails. The only difference between this flying ship and normal sailing ships is that the hull of the ship is the bulk of the ship, where the living space and storage are, which makes the flying ship resemble a submarine more than a normal water ship.

The only thing above the deck was the captain’s quarters. Everything else was down below.

As Loki was admiring the flying ship, someone walked up to him and said, "I heard that you’re going to the battlefield. I’m sure it isn’t the Heavenly Battlefield. So it must be the Earthly Battlefield. But which Earthly Battlefield is it?"

Loki remembered in his mission details that he was to be deployed at a particular Earthly Battlefield, but that didn’t mean that he would tell that to any stranger who came up to him asking for the information.

So he turned to the person and said, "Why should I tell you?"

The person was a lady. She had long, dark hair that flowed down to her waist.

She is beautiful, but he didn’t care about that. He was more concerned about whether she was a threat to him or not. So he examined her with something more useful than his normal eyes.

A quick look with the Telepathy Metac revealed that her mind was guarded by a shield, which is usually an indication that she is a Mind Hunter.

But just to be sure, he used the Power Identification Ability on her to see if his suspicions were right or not.

What Fenrir saw about her confirmed that she was a Mind Hunter. Seeing as he was pretending not to be a Mind Hunter and could be exposed by another Mind Hunter, he became guarded against her.

She didn’t notice the change in him, so she was still nonchalant as she said, "I am Jane. I’m going to Earthly Battlefield E6-137. I asked you where you were going because I was curious and because I was hoping that we would be able to protect each other."

Loki heard this and nodded in understanding. Since they were going to the same place and she would find out soon, he smiled and said, "I’m going to Earthly Battlefield E6-137. Let’s work together in the future."

She, too, smiled and said, "I’m looking forward to our cooperation."

Loki saw her smile and said to himself, "I wonder how much of her smile is as fake as mine."

He doesn’t trust her one bit. Therefore, he doesn’t believe her offer of cooperation.

He would rather believe that she is looking for someone to use as a shield. However, this didn’t mean that he wouldn’t take advantage of her offer to learn from her.

So he said to her, "I have always wondered, what is the difference between the Heavenly Battlefield and the Earthly Battlefield?"

When she heard his question, she smiled and said, "You must be joking. Every true disciple of the sect should know the difference between the Heavenly and the Earthly Battlefield."

"Even rank 2 cultivators should know the difference. Any rank 3 cultivator who doesn’t know the difference has to be some country bumpkin that has been living under a rock all of their lives."

As she spoke, she laughed out loud. But when she saw that Loki’s face was serious and that he wasn’t laughing along with her, she faltered and stopped laughing.

She frowned as she looked at him and said, "You really don’t know?"

He shook his head in reply and said, "I truly don’t know." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

She frowned deeper when she heard his reply. Then her brows furrowed as she said, "Tell me this, do you have a Dao Status?"

Her question also made him frown and say, "What does that have to do with anything?"

She raised her voice as she said, "Of course, it has a lot to do with it. It has everything to do with Dao Status. This is common sense."
