With his mind made up on what to do next, he left the hotel and went down to the market to buy Branch Metacs. Now that he had undergone some changes in his repertoire of Divine Metacs, there would be changes to the Branch Metacs that he could use.

He was thinking about this when he went to the market. Unfortunately, he was met with disappointment on every front of what he aimed to accomplish in the market.

Not only were there no rank 4 Cloudy Metacs to raise his cultivation level, but there was also a complete lack of rank 5 Metacs. He expected the first one, but the second one caught him off guard.

He could only purchase the rank 4 Branch Metacs of what he needed for the meantime. The only rank 5 Metacs that were available in the city were consumables that anyone could use and didn’t require special materials to make.

The Curse Mirror is an example of the rank 5 Metacs that were available. As for the consumables needed to increase the power of his mind and soul, there wasn’t even a rank 4 version of them available.

This was because those two kinds of Metacs require the body parts of rank 4 beings, which makes them rare. He could only get their rank 3 versions, but the rank 5 Curse Mirror was available because the material was cheap to acquire.

Fortunately, he wasn’t without recourse. Since the central market didn’t have what he wanted, he would have to order it from the public trading platform.

This is what he started to do as he returned to his hotel. He went back to the hotel to wait for the Metacs that he ordered and to strengthen the power of his body before making a move.

He has a lot of things to do, but those things require a lot of power, so he wants to be at his top strength before attempting to do them. As for the Earthly Battlefield E6-137 and his meeting with Amelia, that will have to wait until he is ready.

The things he ordered on the public trading platform will take between 7 days and one month before they arrive. This is because rank 5 Metacs are still rare in the whole Central Domain.

The public trading platform makes everything in the Central Domain available to him for purchase. But the Central Domain is also very large, so it will take varying amounts of time for what he ordered to arrive.

And sometimes, what he bought was delayed or didn’t arrive at all. This caused further delays that wasted his time. Fortunately, he had a lot to do during this period, so his time wasn’t completely wasted while waiting for Metacs.

The main thing that he did was to use the rank 1 to rank 4 body refining Metacs to refine his body. This would take a lot of time anyway, so he didn’t mind the wait.

While he was working and waiting, undercurrents were surging in the city. This was because of the news that had spread throughout the city of the appearance of a full reincarnation that is stronger than normal.

Of course, he knows why the city is behaving like this. He knows that it is because Slav never awakened, and a divine being never appeared during the initiation program. But he doesn’t know that the changes to Slav would take an unexpected turn.

Since Loki turned out to be the reincarnation of a rank 5 being and Slav couldn’t possibly kill him, Slav lost the main reason he was sent to participate in the initial program. So he returned home on the first day of the initiation program.

He went home to tell his father about what had happened earlier in the day. He also told his father that he had awakened the Fortune Seeker Metac as his innate Metac.

He did this because he could sense through the Fortune Seeker Metac that something good would happen to him if he told his father about his Core Metac. Just as he expected, his father took the news well.

Skarg became exhilarated when he heard that his son had awakened an Innate Metac of the Luck Pathway. He immediately took Slav on a trip to the location of the inheritance that he found.

This is why Skarg didn’t go looking for Loki. He left with Slav while he sent his two sons to search for Loki.

Skarg chose to prioritize getting the inheritance instead of looking for Loki because the inheritance of a divine being is much better than any inheritance gained from a rank 5 being. Besides, it is a much better use of his time to go and get something that he knows he can get compared to looking for some elusive reincarnator.

With this on his mind, Skarg took his son a trip. The father and son went to a remote corner of the Central Domain for this mission.
