Chapter 1075: Ice Captains Revealed.

“Bulwark, Glacius... Arise!” Titan commanded as he thrust his right hand forward.

Immediately after he spoke , summoning runes lit up across the frozen ground he had just walked over.

They glowed with an icy radiance, forming intricate magical patterns, before anyone could properly process just what was happening, two of Titan’s top Captain-rank golems began rising from the ground, as if some unseen force was lifting them upward.

The mages on the battlefield stared in shock, those watching from the stands were even more confused, while the spectators in the VIP sections struggled to comprehend what they were witnessing.

A golem summoning other golems. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Such a phenomenon had only ever been mentioned in ancient scriptures, none of them had ever seen something like this with their own eyes, yet here it was happening right in front of them.

While many were still trying to understand how such a thing was possible, the battle between Ren and Alec had already resumed in earnest, as both mages exchanged at least two swift strikes before separating again.

The first clash came when Alec slashed forward, after he had gained the advantage after kicking Ren in the side and forcing him slightly off balance.

But at the last moment Ren had twisted his blade with incredible precision, deflecting Alec’s Changdao just before the strike could land properly.

Ren immediately followed with a diagonal counter-slash after pushing the weapon away, but Alec blocked it and swiftly dashed backward, widening the distance between them.

Ren considered pursuing him, but with every step Alec took while retreating, small spikes of earth began protruding from the ground, though they weren’t very large, but they were enough to make Ren wary, so instead of charging recklessly, he chose to halt his advance.

At that exact moment, two new auras appeared on the battlefield.

Ren’s eyes shifted toward the corner of his vision, and what he saw made his expression change, there were already two additional ice golems who now stood on the arena floor.

Ren looked stunned.

Alec, however, barely seemed surprised at all, from the very beginning, Alec had been the one who told Titan not to reveal too much.

As he didn’t want Titan’s abilities becoming public knowledge yet, which was why he had instructed him to summon at least two of his Minion Golems instead to finish things up.

Titan, however, had simply been enjoying himself. Even so, he had carefully restrained his strength, limiting it to the level of a Low Tier 7 realm and nothing more.

Alec knew that if Titan fought with his true strength, the battle would end before it even properly began, after all, Titan’s full battle capability could rival that of a newly advanced Tier 8 mage.

That was the main reason Alec had insisted on him summoning the minion golems, because then at the very least, the mages present would still be able to exchange blows with them instead of being completely overwhelmed.

“Looking away while fighting me?, I’m trying to figure out whether you’re that confident... or just that stupid.” Alec said coldly, as he swiped his left hand from the right to the left in a back handed motion, causing spikes of earth to erupt from the ground beside Ren, aiming at his sides.

Ren responded instantly as he pushed off the ground and was retreating, his katana flashed as he slashed outward towards the spikes, releasing a crimson Qi wave that shattered the spikes in an instant.

But Alec was already on him while he was busy getting rid of his spike problem, Alec descended with a downward slash, forcing Ren to raise his left hand and guard with the crimson handguard that was conjured on his body using his Qi.

The clash produced a sharp screech as the changdao scraped against the reinforced guard, before Ren could recover, Alec followed with a front kick, driving him backward.

Alec pressed the attack relentlessly.

They barely moved from their positions, yet their arms blurred from speed as they exchanged strike after strike, every clash of their blades sent sparks of light scattering into the air.

Many spectators simply couldn’t understand how Alec was able to fight evenly against Hoshino Ren — a mage backed not only by Tier 7 power but also by the vast combat instincts of Akagami merged within him.

Some fans from the Central Kingdom even began mocking Ren, claiming he must be the weakest Tier 7 mage.

But that assumption came only from an outsider’s perspective. In reality, the battle unfolding before them was far more complex than they realized.

There was simply no way Ren would be able to deal with Titan. Although they technically shared the same realm, yet Titan possessed far greater battle power.

Even while holding back, it would be extremely difficult for someone like Ren, who only had Tier 7 prowess to inflict any real damage on him.

And since Ren couldn’t deal meaningful damage, it became much easier for Titan to simply suppress him through sheer force.

As for the clash between Alec and Ren, while many spectators believed they were evenly trading blows, the experts in the audience saw something entirely different.

They could clearly see that Alec was suppressing Ren, his movements were fluid—flicking, twisting, and redirecting attacks with effortless precision, despite Ren possessing the combat instincts of Akagami, Alec fought with remarkable ease.

The reason was simple. Alec had achieved Advanced Weapon Mastery, while Ren’s mastery largely came from the experience of his spirit.

Even though Ren had merged with Akagami, his physical body could not perfectly replicate Akagami’s techniques, because of that limitation, the flaws in Ren’s combat execution were gradually becoming more apparent before Alec who had advanced mastery as the battle continued.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Bulwark and Glacius had fully entered the fight, the icy ground that Titan had created began spreading even further as the two Captain-level ice golems appeared.

Bulwark carried an enormous shield strapped across his back, resembling the equipment of a tank-class mercenary.

In his right hand he held a smaller knight-style shield, while his left hand wielded a rounded shield with a half-moon cut near the elbow; its edges were far more crystallized than the rest of the icy construct, making it look dangerously sharp.

Glacius, on the other hand, wielded an elegant yet deadly ice spear, the spearhead looked extremely lethal, and at the base of the shaft there was a secondary blade meant for stabbing or hooking opponents in close combat.

“Knock them all out.”

That was all Titan said, as the two golems immediately dashed forward, heading straight toward the remaining Shinsei Academy mages—Shun and Kiri.
