The Guide is Actually a Body-Switching Esper [BL]-Chapter 284: The Allens’ Mansion’s Bathroom
Chapter 284: The Allens’ Mansion’s Bathroom
They arrived at the mansion twenty minutes before the agreed time. Because of Damien, of course - he had insisted they leave early, since it was such an important issue, and had been rushing Lane to get ready.
Not that Lane hadn’t been - he had insisted it was perfectly fine to visit the Allens in the more casual clothes he wore at home when Damien’s sisters came to visit, that is, plain light jeans and a plain white T-shirt. ’At least it wasn’t lounge wear,’ he defended himself.
Meanwhile Damien wore his Association uniform. He didn’t want to look informal, visiting Lane’s parents for the first time, regardless of Lane’s hostile relationship with them, and when it came to his other formal clothes... There was that shirt that was so tight that the buttons threatened to pop if Damien made one wrong move, and the suit pants that were at risk of bursting at the seams, unable to handle his thick, muscular thighs. Absolutely not appropriate, regardless what Lane (who liked that outfit very much, for obvious reasons) might have said. His wardrobe was in desperate needs of attention, but with everything that was going on, Lane still didn’t get the opportunity to take Damien out on a shopping spree.
Regardless, they arrived at the mansion’s front gate, where their taxi was stopped - taxi, because both Lane and Damien had drank wine earlier, so they couldn’t drive.
"What’s the hold up?" Lane asked, rolling his window down. He half expected this situation when he refused to be escorted, but he was annoyed nonetheless.
"You need to get out..." the guard at the gate started, but then paused when he noticed Damien. It was unclear whether he had recognized him, but he saw that Lane wasn’t alone, and that the person next to him was wearing the Association’s uniform, so he quickly backed down. "One moment, please," he said, as he made a quick call.
After all, while the Association couldn’t exactly do anything to the Allens, it was all about the reputation. They could treat Lane (and Nyla) however they liked behind the closed doors, but they didn’t want any unpleasant rumors to spread. So, if Lane had brought an outsider as a witness, they had to proceed with more caution, at least until they assessed the situation.
Guess that was an additional advantage of bringing Damien along.
Soon enough, the gate opened, and the taxi was allowed in, driving all the way to the front door of the mansion. Lane swiped his card, paying the fare, and he and Damien got out.
While the guard at the gate might not have recognized Damien, the butler most certainly did. Which was why he bowed deeply in front of Lane, saying, "Welcome home, Young Master."
’Home.’ Riiiight.
Lane rolled his eyes internally, but he didn’t say anything. He didn’t resent the employees working at the mansion, as they were just servants following the Allens’ orders. And they had never wronged him or anything, at most they were just somewhat cold to him.
"Where am I supposed to go?" he just asked, as he entered through the tall front door. Which were opened for him, naturally. "The office?"
"The dinner will be served soon. Master and Madam would be thrilled if you and your guest would join them at the dinner table. Young Miss and Old Master are also present."
Lane’s eyes twitched at the mention of ’Old Master’ - which referred to Cyrus Allen, his grandfather - but he still nodded at the butler. "Alright. We will."
"Is there anything you need?"
"No, you can go," Lane dismissed him. freeweɓnovel.cѳm
The butler bowed once again, and left Lane and Damien alone. If you ignore the maids wandering around, pretending to be busy with their duties, while they tried to catch a glance at what was going on. They were polishing the balustrades that were smooth and glistening like mirrors, or dusting off the vases that had not a single spec of dust on them... Lane was still quite used to their presence, despite having lived alone for years, as that was the environment he grew up in, but to Damien, it was something completely new and unfamiliar. He glanced around, not knowing whether to be in awe at the grandeur of the place, or whether to sigh at the excess of wealth... Who needed to have such a fancy entrance hall in their house, really?
Lane observed Damien from the corner of his eye as he led him toward the dining hall, the smaller one (although by no means small) that was generally reserved for family meals. But he was quickly redirected by the maids to the larger one, meant for small house parties... Well, they had a ’guest’, after all, so perhaps that was to be expected.
Just as they were about to enter the dining hall, Lane stopped at another door.
"This is the bathroom," he said. "We should wash our hands first."
"Alright... Ah?" Damien gasped, as he was suddenly pulled inside. Lane then quickly turned the lock, paying no mind to the muted gasps of surprised maids coming from the outside, and pressed Damien against the wall.
"Before we go in," he whispered to Damien’s ear, moving so close there was no space left between them, and placing his hands on Damien’s waist. "I need a little encouragement..."
"Lane..." Damien muttered, his whole face turning red. "We’re at your parents place."
"I know."
"It’s not appropriate."
"I don’t care."
"It’s... Wait, what are you doing?" Damien gasped again, when Lane tugged on his shirt, pulling it from his pants, and sliding his hands underneath, touching Damien’s bare skin. "Surely, you’re not planning..."
"Why not?" Lane curved his lips in a wicked smile. We have time."
"Lane..." Damien tried to protest, but his words were cut off, as Lane smashed his lips against his, capturing Damien’s in a deep kiss. He kneaded his waist, even slipping the tongue in...
That was only as far as he went, though. Unlike what Damien feared, Lane didn’t end up having sex with him in the bathroom of the Allen family’s mansion...
Although whether that was by choice, or by the fact that they were interrupted by the knocking on the door, followed by Miles’ voice, "Lane, is everything alright in there?" remained unclear...
