The Heavenly Dao System-Chapter 56: Viewing Fee

Having experienced many qi and being able to manipulate them all, the one thing Ye Qing Lei didn’t have one Dao Qi.

In fact, Dao Qi never existed. Or to be more specific, no cultivators ever attained Dao Qi.

The Heavenly Dao was always an intangible substance to everyone. But since reaching Beyond Origin Realm, the Heavenly Dao was merely air to them. It existed peacefully with them, but it could never harm them.

But the same could not be said for them. After all, air could be tainted by external factors such as poison.

To summarize, the Heavenly Dao was something she could easily destroy if she sought to do so. However, doing that would have affected a lot of things and there was no benefit in destroying it either.

"How are you going to cultivate the Dao Qi?" Ye Qing Lei raised an eyebrow and asked curiously.

"The Heavenly Dao System that I’ve created." Ye Ming answered honestly. There was no need to conceal the information from his Mother, to begin with.

As for Qing Lan being present in the scene, she was his maid and bound by contract. The contract could never be compromised, and she wasn’t the type to spill the beans either. Unless the target happened to be his Mother.

Yes, Qing Lan was more afraid of his Mother than his Father.

"Ah, you mean the system you created to help oversee the world better?" After a while, Ye Qing Lei recalled that her son had created some system for better management.

It was just that she never inquired further about what it was.

She really didn’t care much about the world as that would never affect her in any way.

Like many cultivators, one would become aloof toward mortals who lived and died with a short lifespan.

To cultivators, age above 150 was the norm. The only reason why it didn’t have a higher lifespan was mostly due to them risking their life or encountering dangers.

Without further ado, Ye Ming conjured his hand and released some of the Dao Qi. This was the qi that was collected from a single world that was managed by the HD during his disappearance.

In his past self, he simply collected the qi and converted them to the type he was using. However, due to its disappearance, the HD no longer knew the type of qi to be converted, especially with so many years passed by.

To complicate matters further, the qi would be lost if it remained in that form, prompting HD to ultimately inject its Dao to retain the qi for its Master.

And that was when something unexpected happened. The qi mutated and formed into Dao Qi.

The HD naturally panicked, but upon checking, the Dao Qi was very vibrant and could maintain its states, meaning it would never dissipate.

Therefore, HD kept the Dao Qi as the current type and waited patiently for its Master to return and decide what to do.

Thus, brining back to the present time when Ye Ming was introduced to the Dao Qi. Not only was he intrigued by this type of qi, but he was also amazed by its power.

Based on his estimation, the qi could evolve to become stronger. Moreover, he even began testing it a bit such as wondering if it could absorb other qi and gain their unique feature.

The test was a success when he made Qing Lan give him some of her qi. Of course, he didn’t inform or explain Qing Lan what he wanted to use it for.

It would have been embarrassing if his test failed and incited her laughter.

While Ye Ming was pleased with the Dao Qi, his Mother narrowed her eyes and inspected it thoroughly.

"Hmm, this is something else." She uttered and subsequently snapped her fingers. A portal was then created, and from the other side, Ye Xuan cheered excitedly.

"Wife, you finally let me enter the chamber!" Ye Xuan leaped across the portal and was about to embrace Ye Qing Lei, having believed he was granted entry to her chamber.

Unfortunately, he noticed two people within the room as well.

He quickly came to a halt and spread his senses, only to realize this wasn’t his wife’s chamber.

"What a great Clan Leader we got here." Ye Ming clicked his tongue and snickered.

"Ahem, must you really keep antagonizing your father?" Ye Xuan glared at him before shifting his attention to his wife.

With a timid-like behavior, he asked, "Wife, why did you call for me?"

"Am I not allowed to call for you?" Ye Qing Lei raised an eyebrow in response.

"Of course, not!" Ye Xuan hurriedly straightened his back and pounded his chest. "I am always 24/7 on call for my wife."

"Alright, enough of your flattery." She rolled her eyes in response and pointed at her son, or more specifically, the qi that he was displaying.

Sure enough, once Ye Xuan composed himself, he soon noticed the abnormality with his son’s qi.

"This qi... contains a trace of Heavenly Dao." He uttered, having recognized it immediately.

"Yes, this is Dao Qi, the one that our son plans on using to cultivate." Ye Qing Lei explained.

Naturally, Ye Xuan understood the implication. Without hesitation, he quickly inspected the Dao Qi.

In less than 3 seconds, Ye Xuan confirmed it was another type of Qi. Moreover, it was even more profound than the standard type—no, it was even superior. In fact, he could sense its frightening potential of even surpassing his own type of Qi.

"This Dao Qi could indeed be cultivated and could bring forth a result we wouldn’t know about." Ye Xuan admitted that he was intrigued by it.

Startled and confused, Ye Xuan didn’t understand his gesture.

"Viewing fee," Ye Ming clicked his tongue and informed him.

"Did you think my Dao Qi is free for view? Pay up for viewing it now, especially when you did it without permission."

Ye Xuan twitched his mouth in disbelief. If it weren’t for the fact that he reached the end of the cultivation realm and had an infinite lifespan, then he might have questioned his hearing.
