The Heavenly Demon of Terror-Chapter 282: Battlefield – Crimson Valley Outskirts
Chapter 282 - Battlefield – Crimson Valley Outskirts
The ground was fire, the skies were blood, and the Legion of the Tyrant marched like a living storm.
At the front, a gigantic hydra, all nine heads hissing with venom and flame, roared and led the charge.
Yet they were not unopposed.
From the mountains, with antlers aglow and hooves shattering stone, the Verdant Hollowstag charged forward. Each stomp of his legs sprouted thorned roots that entangled dozens of enemies, vines tightening like chains.
With him came the Seraph-Lynx, a blur of white and silver, slashing through the enemy ranks like a comet. Her twin tails lashed with divine energy, slicing through shadows, each kill leaving a shimmer of light in her wake.
"Scatter them!" her psychic growl echoed to the others.
High above, Cindervyra, the fire hawk, screamed and unleashed a torrent of solar flame, reducing entire wings of the Tyrant's flying beasts into falling ashes.
Below, the Ironboar Alpha stomped through the enemy front lines, flinging monsters left and right with his tusks of plated steel.
All around, Owen's beasts roared and fought with coordinated precision.
They were more than animals.
They were his pack. His family.
A giant three-headed cerberus of the Tyrant leapt toward a group of smaller ally beasts, only for the Moonfang Wolf to intercept it midair, jaws glowing under moonlight as he ripped one head clean off.
"Hold the flanks!" the Hollowstag bellowed in an ancient beast-tongue. "Don't let them surround the crater!"
On the southern front, beasts began to falter under the unending waves — until the Skybreak Serpent, once untamed, dove into the war with a vengeful screech. Its wings sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield as its venom melted armored fiends like wax.
The Tyrant's army was many.
But Owen's beasts fought like titans.
And when the Deathhorn Drake — one of the Tyrant's elite generals — landed with a roar that shattered nearby hills, it was Seraph-Lynx who answered the challenge.
She leapt onto the dragon's head mid-flight, claws slicing across its eyes, and as it shrieked and thrashed, she rode it down like a falling star before driving her divine talons through its skull.
The battlefield roared in approval.
But they knew...
This was only the beginning.
Above, clouds swirled. Below, earth cracked.
And at the heart of the war, two kings fought for supremacy.

[Owen's POV – Serenity Crater, War-Torn Center]
The crater was hell incarnate.
Fire and blood. Wind and bone. Ash filled my lungs, but I stood tall—The Beast King would not kneel.
The Alpha Tyrant roared across from me. Twelve feet of rippling sinew, horns blackened with voidfire, claws that tore through reality itself. Each breath it exhaled warped the air.
"You've grown," it growled, voice like cracking glaciers. "But you are not yet worthy of my throne."
I cracked my knuckles, fangs gritting beneath the mask of primal calm.
"You speak of thrones, but all I see is a beast who's forgotten what it means to bleed."
It moved first—faster than I expected. Its claw slashed across my chest. Pain bloomed, hot and red, but I turned into the blow, driving my elbow into its ribs and activating Feral Blitz.
My claws tore into its flesh—again, again, again. Sparks of black blood sprayed. It howled and retaliated, grabbing my throat and slamming me through three boulders.
Ironhide Burst – Activated.
My skin thickened with beast-hide, absorbing the next barrage. I twisted under it, roared, and unleashed Stormclaw Manifest, electrifying my claws and carving an arc through its thigh.
"ROOOOOAARRRR!!!"
The Alpha backhanded me across the crater. I landed, rolled, spat blood—and grinned.
"Hurts, doesn't it?"
Savage Dominion – Activated.
My aura expanded, wild and oppressive. The nearby land trembled. Even the Tyrant paused, sensing the sudden shift.
"You've fought kings before," I snarled, "but I'm no pretender—I am the Alpha of Alphas!"
We clashed again—claws against claws, fists shattering the earth, our auras twisting the sky above. Every blow shook the crater.
Heavenbreaker Fang – Engaged.
With a snarl, I drove a shining white claw into its chest. It screamed—its blood exploded like dark smoke—but it still stood.
I staggered. Bruised. Burnt. Bleeding.
It lunged—and I caught its strike mid-air, both of us pushing against each other in a stalemate of gods.
"You're persistent," it hissed.
"And you're overdue for extinction," I growled.
I bit into its shoulder—feral, vicious—tearing out a chunk of divine flesh. It shrieked and grabbed my head, slamming me into the ground—
But I rose again, laughing.
Bloodborne Evolution – Triggered.
My wounds sizzled, flesh knitting itself with surge of wild power. My form grew more monstrous, primal—golden eyes burning like twin stars.
I let out a roar that cracked the heavens.
And then we clashed again—
King of Beasts vs. Alpha Tyrant.
No words now. Just blood. Fury. Survival.
The crater would remember this war for centuries.
And I would make sure it ended with the Alpha Tyrant's head on my claws.
