The Hero is Hunting me!-Chapter 105: The Villain Who Saved the Sky
The villains continued staring at Indigo with trembling bodies.
None of them moved.
None of them dared.
Confusion filled their minds.
They could not tell whether Indigo had come to help them—or to destroy them.
Silence filled the cabin for a brief moment.
Then Indigo spoke calmly.
"Alright. That’s far enough."
His voice was quiet, yet the pressure behind it made the entire cabin feel heavier.
The passengers grew even more frightened.
Some of them lowered their heads.
Others held their breath.
Indigo slowly stepped forward.
He walked toward one of the masked villains standing closest to him.
Their eyes met.
Directly.
The red-masked villain visibly tensed when Indigo stopped right in front of him.
The aura surrounding Indigo felt oppressive.
Cold.
Heavy.
Terrifying.
It froze the villain where he stood.
Then Indigo spoke again.
"What are Overseer’s hired dogs doing here?"
The moment the word Overseer left Indigo’s mouth—
The villains were visibly shocked.
The masked villain standing in front of Indigo suddenly attempted to attack.
He threw a punch.
But Indigo moved faster.
He caught the villain’s arm effortlessly.
The grip was tight.
Unmovable.
Indigo looked directly into the villain’s mask.
"You know..."
he said quietly.
"I really hate people who pretend to belong to other groups."
Then—
He squeezed.
The villain’s arm twisted unnaturally under Indigo’s grip.
"AAAAAAAGH!!"
The villain screamed in unbearable pain.
His entire body shook violently.
The other villains immediately panicked.
They raised their guns and pointed them at Indigo.
"Let him go!"
one of the red-masked villains shouted.
Indigo slowly glanced at him.
His gaze was calm.
Unbothered.
"Why should I?"
Before anyone could react—
Indigo suddenly grabbed the villain by the throat.
He lifted him into the air effortlessly.
The villain struggled helplessly.
Then Indigo raised his other hand.
Dark blue light appeared.
A strange glow surrounded the villain’s head.
The energy pulsed.
For a brief moment—
The entire cabin became silent.
Then the dark blue light vanished.
And so did the villain’s head.
Only the body remained.
The headless corpse fell to the floor with a dull sound.
Thud.
The remaining villains froze in horror.
"P-PANIC!!"
One of them started firing.
Gunshots erupted inside the cabin.
The bullets rushed toward Indigo.
But Indigo didn’t even flinch.
A swirling shield of dark blue light formed in front of him.
It looked like a vortex.
When the bullets touched it—
They vanished.
Completely erased.
Indigo continued walking forward while maintaining the shield.
Each step echoed through the cabin.
The villains slowly stepped backward.
Fear filled their eyes.
When Indigo got close enough—
He suddenly grabbed the gun from one of them.
With the butt of the weapon, he smashed it into the villain’s jaw.
CRACK!
The villain collapsed instantly.
Indigo calmly aimed the gun downward.
BANG.
The shot echoed loudly.
The villain died instantly.
Now only one villain remained standing.
The man looked extremely nervous.
Sweat dripped beneath his mask.
He slowly stepped backward.
But suddenly—
A flash of dark blue light appeared.
Indigo teleported.
He appeared right in front of him.
Before the villain could react—
Indigo punched him directly in the face.
The impact knocked the villain backward.
Indigo then extended his hand toward the villain’s chest.
Dark blue energy erupted from his palm.
The energy surrounded the villain’s body.
A swirling vortex of dark light appeared behind him.
The force dragged the villain into it.
The man screamed.
But the vortex swallowed him whole.
Then—
He disappeared.
As if he had been devoured by the darkness itself.
Indigo turned his head.
Behind him, one final villain remained.
This one wore a red mask marked with a white wing symbol.
The man had fallen to the floor.
His entire body trembled violently.
"P-Please spare me! I’ll tell you everything!"
he cried in fear.
Indigo walked toward him slowly.
Each step made the villain shake even more.
Then Indigo grabbed the man’s collar and pulled him up slightly.
"That’s exactly what you’re going to do."
Indigo said calmly.
After saying that, he released the villain’s collar.
With the villains dealt with, Indigo glanced toward Lightnova.
She was still tied up.
Her expression showed clear confusion.
She had witnessed everything.
When Indigo began walking toward her—
Lightnova instinctively trembled.
Her eyes slowly closed.
She expected pain.
She expected torture.
But that was only her assumption.
Instead—
Indigo untied the ropes binding her.
Lightnova blinked in surprise.
"Eh?"
She looked genuinely confused.
Indigo spoke without looking at her.
"Tie him with those ropes."
"H-huh? Uh... alright..."
Lightnova still looked bewildered.
But she followed his instructions. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
She tied the captured villain tightly using the same ropes.
After finishing, she walked toward Indigo.
"W-What are you actually doing here?"
she asked cautiously.
Indigo didn’t even look at her.
"That’s none of your business."
"..."
"Follow me."
He walked forward.
Lightnova hesitated for a moment before following him.
They walked toward the cockpit.
Before entering, Lightnova glanced back at the passengers.
They all looked terrified.
Some were shaking.
Some were crying.
Lightnova gave them a reassuring smile.
"Please stay calm. Everything will be alright."
Her gentle tone helped calm some of them.
Then she entered the cockpit with Indigo.
When the door opened—
Two more masked villains were inside.
They were controlling the plane.
Hearing the door open, they turned around.
Their eyes widened instantly.
"Lightnova!?"
"And Indigo!?"
Lightnova reacted first.
A blade of radiant light formed in her hand.
With one swift motion—
She slashed through one of the villains.
The man collapsed instantly.
At the same time—
Indigo raised his finger.
A dark blue beam shot from his fingertip.
It pierced straight through the other villain’s head.
Both enemies were eliminated in seconds.
The cockpit became quiet.
Lightnova looked at Indigo.
"Why did you want me to come here?"
she asked.
Indigo pointed toward the aircraft’s digital navigation display.
"I need your help."
He then sat down in the pilot’s seat.
"Read the plane’s destination."
"E-Eh!?"
"Hurry up!"
"A-Alright!"
Lightnova quickly walked to the navigation display.
She examined the digital map.
Then—
Her eyes widened dramatically.
"What is it?"
Indigo asked.
Lightnova’s voice trembled.
"This plane... it’s heading straight toward the Hero Association building!"
"What!?"
Indigo immediately looked forward.
But thick clouds blocked their view.
"How long until impact?"
he asked.
Lightnova quickly checked the system.
"About three minutes!"
"Ugh... damn it..."
Indigo grabbed the control yoke and began steering.
Lightnova looked at him nervously.
"H-Hey... can you actually fly this thing?"
Indigo shrugged slightly.
"Well... I can fly aircraft."
"But not passenger planes."
"Still... I understand the basics."
Lightnova looked forward again.
The clouds began to thin.
Then—
They saw it.
The Hero Association building.
And it was very close.
"How are we going to stop this!? It’s right there!!"
Lightnova shouted in panic.
"Just hold on!"
Indigo pulled the controls hard to the left.
The aircraft began tilting slightly.
"K-Kugh! It’s too heavy!"
Indigo gritted his teeth.
’Tch... this plane is way heavier than the fighter jets I used to fly...’
he thought.
The distance between the plane and the building was shrinking rapidly.
Only a few kilometers remained.
But the aircraft turned very slowly.
Changing the direction of such a massive plane at high speed was extremely difficult.
Lightnova looked terrified.
"Faster!!"
"I’m trying!!!"
Indigo forced the controls further.
But the plane still resisted.
Now only a few hundred meters remained.
Seconds.
Not minutes.
Seconds before collision.
"Damn it!!"
Indigo stretched his hand forward.
Dark blue energy exploded outward.
The entire plane became surrounded by dark blue light.
The energy pushed against the aircraft’s momentum.
The plane began tilting faster.
Closer.
Closer.
The building filled their view.

At the final moment—
The plane tilted completely sideways.
It narrowly passed the Hero Association building.
The bottom of the aircraft nearly scraped the glass exterior.
Then the building disappeared behind them.
The plane slowly stabilized.
Indigo regained full control of the aircraft.
He carefully guided it away.
Eventually—
The aircraft safely landed at Gimpo Airport.
A perfect landing.
The moment the plane stopped moving, Lightnova stared at Indigo with amazement.
"How did you do that!? Were you a professional pilot before!?"
Indigo scratched his cheek slightly.
"Uhm... let’s just say something like that."
After the plane came to a complete stop, Indigo stood up from the pilot’s seat.
Lightnova released a long sigh of relief.
"I really need to thank you."
"...yeah... that’s not necessary."
Lightnova smiled warmly at him.
Indigo immediately looked away.
His ears turned slightly red.
He felt embarrassed.
"U-Uh... well then! See you around!"
Before she could say anything else—
Indigo ran out of the cockpit.
He grabbed the captured villain.
Dark blue light flashed.
And he teleported away.
Lightnova rushed after him—
But stopped.
"Huft... he’s always like that..."
she muttered in an annoyed tone.
Even so—
She couldn’t help smiling slightly.
Once again—
Indigo had helped her.
If he hadn’t appeared—
She didn’t even want to imagine what would have happened.
She herself might have survived the crash thanks to her powers.
But the passengers?
The people inside the building?
They were just ordinary humans.
They didn’t have powers like her.
Once again—
Indigo had saved her.
Lightnova—
Or rather Ji-hye—
now felt her cheeks becoming slightly warm.
