Kai watched as everyone chatted with each other, enjoying themselves, and others tried to get on his good side. Luckily for him, he had Clarisse and Bessa coach him through how Aion acts and who he's cool with, so this was a breeze for him.

Besides, he knew how much of a dick Aion was, and acting like one wasn't hard.

When women would get too close, he would pull them by the waist, grope their ass and tits, then whisper in their ears to get the fuck away before he snapped their necks.

Keeping a smile, each woman nodded and walked away in fear, knowing not to do that again.

Kai let the nice banquet go on for an hour before he decided to end it with a large speech.

"My subjects, after being away for over a billion years because of my acursed father, I am finally back before you all, once again able to lead you to a better future."

Everyone cheered, whistled, and drooled over his presence, calming down when he put up his hand for them to stop.

"During my time there, I was able to reflect on a lot of things that happened in the past, and I've learned a few things." Kai paused, looked around, then frowned.

"Where is Narwhal?"

Everyone looked around and noticed that Narwhal wasn't there at all.

"M-My lord, I heard that he was killed by your father!"

"Impossible. My Avatar was there with him when my father attacked us. His life force was not gone."

"Ha, maybe that bastard croaked like the little bitch he was!" Some guy shouted.

Everyone looked at him as if he were an idiot, then backed away from the guy.

At first, Kai wondered what they were doing because he agreed with the guy, but then he remembered that Narwhal was extremely respected and was Aion's aide, so they were expecting him to kill the man.

"Interesting. You say that in my presence? You're bold, I'll give you that." The chuckle that came from Kai's mouth made everyone shiver in fear.

"P-Please forgive me, my lord! I misspoke! I am drunk from your amazing banquet!" The man had rushed to the foot of Aion's throne and kowtowed, slamming his head into the ground.

"So you're aware that you're drunk and you still said such idiocy?"

"I-I..." Speachless

"Raise your head. I actually like your boldness. It shows strength, character, and power, unlike the weak-willed insects who backed away from you."

The others could only slouch further into their chairs, hoping for the many eyes to stop looking at them.

"T-Thank you, my lord!"

"But, there is a reason why insects lower their heads to their leader. A dog showing their teeth to their owner is to be put down." Kai instantly killed the man, wiping him from existence as he had used Progenitor Decay.

Everyone was used to Aion killing subordinates like this, but it never failed to make them flinch.

"What was his home world again?" Kai asked

"H-Honokim, my lord." Someone said, raising his hand.

"Ahh, right, that world. A jungle world, if I remember correctly." Kai was honestly bullshitting.

"Actually, it's not a jungle world anymore, my lord. Around 300 million years after you were locked away, the world underwent changes and is now industrialized." The same person informed Kai.

"I see." Kai waved his hand, his status window appearing in front of him. He pulled out a map of the universe, found Honokim, then crushed it with his hand, causing the planet to actually explode in reality.

"Well, the planet Honokim no longer exists. Anyone else wish to speak up like that idiot?"

No one answered.

"Good. Now let's get on to the main topic." Kai got up from his chair and started floating above everyone.

"Why is it that our forces not only dwindled over these years, but we have been losing territory that had been hidden from even the eyes of my father. Is the power of the Lion Locket not working?"

"No, my lord!" They answered

"So what is your excuse? Pray that it's a good one, because if it's not, I won't be answering your prayer."

"It's the divine guard, my lord! Nemean managed to find where some of our bases were and had them destroyed!"

Kai didn't even waste any time and killed that guy. Whether it was the truth or not, he didn't care. He was going to pin the blame on someone here anyway, someone very important, or at least related to someone important.

"Are your mouths just for decoration? You spout nonsense and believe that I will actually listen to it? Tell me, if my father cannot see what we are doing, then how would he learn of our bases?"

"H-He wouldn't, my lord."

"So, do any of you disagree with the punishment I gave him?" Kai pointed at the dead god who was bleeding all over the floor.

"N-No, my lord." They responded

"Good. Now use your actual brains, and if another idiotic sentence leaves your mouth, I will not only kill you and your family, but also destroy all of your worlds."

"A traitor." Someone muttered.

As divine beings, they all heard what this woman had said, and upon hearing it, Kai smiled.

"A traitor, huh? Do you seriously believe that someone would be foolish enough to betray me, betray our cause?"

"O-Of course not, my lord! I was just saying that it was a possibility."

Kai nodded. "You're right, and I agree."

The woman breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that she wouldn't be killed.

"But the real question is whether the traitor would reveal themselves or not."

Kai had a plan already and had gone over it with Clarisse. He didn't know why, but he couldn't hypnotize Primordials; Titans and below were fair game. So, when everyone had arrived and was having fun during the banquet, he implanted memories into the minds of a few individuals, making them think they were traitors and spies.

He also gave them a story, which he told Clarisse, so everything would match up.

"The death of our forces, the destruction of our bases, and the fact that we couldn't expand our reach for the past eon is because we have a traitor in our ranks. So trust me when I say that I will kill any and everyone here unless the traitor comes forward and reveals themselves."

Just then, there was a reaction from a few people. They didn't get up and announce that they were traitors or anything, but they reacted as if they were scared to die, and they each glanced at each other as if wondering what to do.

Kai smiled. "Gotcha." He extended his hand forward and pulled a woman from her seat.

"Akkk!"

"Xenovia! My lord, that's my daughter! Please have mercy!"

"Mercy? On a traitor? You must want to die with your daughter."

"M-My lord, please! She isn't a traitor. We have served you since the beginning! We would never betray you!" And he was right, but that didn't matter because this was all a play anyway.

"Then let's see if your daughter shares the same sentiment." Kai's eyes glowed. "Speak your truth!"

"I-I-I...Akkk! Nnnghh! N-Nooo! Arghhhhh!!!!!" She stopped moving, then her head rose slightly, staring Kai in the face with glowing eyes.

"I helped Clarisse of the Divine Guard in order to stop your pursuit of universal domination. Information, locations, people, I informed her of everything."

Kai played his part. "After everything I've done for you and your family, this is how you repay me? Why?"

"B-Becasue I was in love with your brother who you killed."

"Heh, what a useless slut you are."

"Xenovia? W-Why? WHY?! You traitorous daughter!"

'Hahahaha! This is fucking gold!' Kai laughed in his head.

"And I assume you're not working alone, right? Name me the other traitors." Kai demanded

"They are—" A beam of light shot Xenovia through the heart in an attempt to kill her.

"Run! We've been found out!" Four other deities ran out of the place in an attempt to escape.

"Hahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You all must think I'm a joke!" Kai tossed Xenovia away, then extended his hand forward, closing the doors of the castle and spreading his Prigenitor Decay all over the place.

He appeared in front of the two titans and two gods, knocking all of them back into the throne room, where he then stepped on one of their heads, crushing it like a grape.

"I kill those who are incompetent. Do you know what I will do to you?!" Kai asked as menacingly as he could.

"H-Heh! It's too late! I already informed the Divine Guard of this location. They will be here at any moment. You're all dead!"

The deities started to panic, and they tried to leave, but Kai's booming voice, which told them to shut up and sit down, had them all quiet in an instant.

"It's amazing that you believe the Divine Guard can do anything to me. Sure, these lessors, maybe, but me? You must be out of your damn mind." Kai nearly went out of character there, so he quickly corrected himself.

He took out the divine needle, or the progenitor blade, and showed it off for everyone to see.

"Look here, a weapon that can slay any deity, including my father. What do you think will happen if I tap you with such a weapon?"

"K-Keep that thing away from me!"

A maniacal smile appeared on Kai's face as he slaughtered the group of 'traitors' in front of everyone.
