The Last King Of Darkness-Chapter 1646 - 774: Trust Me
In the depths of the unknown, a hazy path seemed to become clearer.
——
After a day of consuming gray ash, Rod created tens of thousands of Ash Cores and gained 200 points of Divinity.
It has to be said, the efficiency of the Royal City is truly high.
As soon as he gave the order, Monster Ash was continuously sent back from the front lines.
Not only that, upon hearing that the great Rod wanted to eat ash, people across Trolian scrambled to gather all kinds of ash to send to the Royal City.
Since there were very few monsters inside Trolian, they couldn’t get that much Monster Ash, so they used other ash to make up the numbers.
Ordinary dust was fine, and mixing soil into ash could be tolerated, but some people even burned waste like excrement into ash and sent it over, making Rod extremely annoyed.
He couldn’t eat just any kind of ash. Only ash from Fire Kindling, Monster Ash, and Embers from Spiritual Items were his sustenance.
Other kinds were completely useless.
These ignorant fools didn’t even know how to separate them, mixing the ashes together and wasting a lot.
Helpless, Rod had to update his order, specifying which ashes could be sent and which could not, especially warning certain people not to burn garbage into ash and send it, as he was not a waste recycling station.
If anyone was found doing so, they would be treated as a Doomsday believer.
After making these arrangements, the transportation of ash finally became normal, allowing Rod to eat ash comfortably without worrying about consuming any garbage.
It must be said, this efficiency is indeed high. In just a day, his total Divinity had soared to 2409, and yet he barely expended any Spiritual Energy; with Rod’s total amount of Spiritual Energy, he could continue eating ash until Doomsday.
"So much Divinity, this should be enough."
Rod thought to himself.
When the time came, he immediately arrived in front of the Star Tower, lightly touched the tower’s body, and pointed the dial toward the [Destruction Sphere].
Two lines of golden text instantly appeared before his eyes.
[Activate the Star Tower, requires 100 Divinity] 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
[Awaken the Giant Star, requires 3600 Divinity]
Rod’s eyes widened.
Divinity?
The cost to awaken the Star Soul of the [Destruction Sphere] was actually 3600 Divinity!
Doesn’t that mean, including the Divinity consumed for ignition, awakening this Giant Star would require a total of 6700 Divinity?
Isn’t that too much?
[Sacrifice] only cost 9000 Divinity, after all.
Of course, [Sacrifice] had many more requirements than the [Destruction Sphere], given the 300 Source Energy of the Giant Star.
There’s still not enough Divinity!
I need to find Horus, only by letting this guy step into the True King Domain can I gain enough Divinity.
However, according to the Soul Masters’ estimation, Horus’s adjustment would take several weeks to reach the optimal state for his ascension ceremony to the True King.
But that’s too long, Rod couldn’t wait that long.
The Starry Sky Devourer Amidala’s invasion had only 6 days left.
He must become as strong as possible within these 6 days.
But, is there a way to restore him quickly?
Rod turned his gaze to the Book of the Future.
It immediately jumped up excitedly, saying, "Master, Weiguang Asa at your service."
Asa snorted: "Smartass!"
The Book of the Future paid no heed to Asa’s jealous words and, after hearing its master’s request, quickly flipped through its pages, glints of golden light flickering between the folds of the book.
"Ah, I see it, I see it, there’s someone or something that can quickly restore Trolian’s Archbishop to the best state, this person or thing is within the Dream Realm!"
Rod and the Book of Knowledge frowned simultaneously.
Could a person or thing in the Dream Realm help Horus recover?
Thinking back on the creations in the Dream Realm, there didn’t seem to be anything related to healing, did there?
Rod reviewed the Stars once again; despite his numerous abilities, none were associated with healing.
Surely it couldn’t be Asa?
Have him go over and ask Horus to eat two piles of dung, and his state would improve?
Clearly, that was impossible.
Just as he was pondering, a wave of Spiritual Energy surged from the House of God.
"Aphro is awake!"
The Book of Knowledge leaped up and rushed into the House of God, with Rod following close behind.
There on the rocking chair inside the House of God, the doll that had been severely wounded in the battle with the Blood God, finally stood up; its entire body gleamed with golden light, looking as good as new, its unbelievably beautiful face devoid of expression, showing a flicker of emotion only upon seeing its master.
"Master."
The doll bowed slightly.
"I’m awake, I have fully recovered, and I can continue to fight."
The Book of Knowledge cried out, "You scoundrel, do you know how many resources and effort I spent on repairing you?"
The doll lowered its head to look at the Book of Knowledge and calmly said, "Adorlis, thank you."
The Book of Knowledge snorted: "That’s more like it."
Rod stepped forward with a smile: "Aphro, you’re finally awake; the Dream Realm has one more powerful combat force. We can safely advance to the next area."
The Book of Knowledge exclaimed in delight: "Yes, as long as enough Divinity is infused into Aphro, its power can reach the level of a Great Monarch. Moreover, if you retrieve its weapon, you might even have a temporary True King ally."
Rod curiously asked, "What is Aphro’s weapon?"
The doll replied, "A short spear."
"Is it powerful?"
"Yes."
The Book of Knowledge eagerly said, "Very powerful, it is its Soul Weapon, imprinted with its Soul essence; without the spear, it is incomplete, and many battle abilities are forgotten. At the moment of the Dream Realm’s rupture, it must have turned into Dream Fragments scattered somewhere in the world."
