The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse-Chapter 676 : Klaus Meeting with Earth’s Strongest (3)
"It warms my heart to hear such words coming from you, Mother-in-law," Klaus said, causing Queen Lunara to smile.
Though the way he said the mother-in-law sounded weird, she didn't mind and chose to smile at his cheekiness.
"That aside, I know you all have your reservations, and I respect that. So, take the time to come to terms with the fact that, in the coming months or perhaps years, we will face a calamity like none other.
But rest assured, we will be ready for that day, and trust me when it's over, this world will become one filled with warriors who will tread the path to immortality, bathing in the blood of all those who dare to oppose.
However, be ready to put in the work, for we have much to do. But when all is said and done, you will all look back and smile.
This brings me to the fourth item for this meeting: the Tier 11 beasts and monsters around."
The Overlords and Grand Elders sighed.
"I have been made aware that there is a monster at the peak of the Tier 11 stage currently on Earth. However, we can never be too sure if that is the only one.
This also calls for immediate action to exterminate it before it is too late. This is why I have already devised a battle plan, which I believe will see to the end of such a monster."
Klaus was rather happy with the turn of events for him. He is looking for materials to create his perfect soldiers, and the body of a Tier 11 monster will go a long way.
He just needed Tier 10 above bodies and perhaps metals he planned on taking from Nadia, who still didn't want to show him around her Puppet Workshop until she was done with some stuff first.
"Queen Lunara and her daughter, Overlord Queenie, will be our main strike force. Of course, another member will be joining us soon.
But the main force will be them. However, aside from them, 12 Ascendants will be needed to handle the 9 minions acting as generals for the Tier 11 monster.
"Little is known about this monster, but from my reports, it is in a Tier 9 Forbidden Zone, with only nine other monsters. Of course, this doesn't mean this battle will succeed, but we can try. And don't worry, none of you will die.
I will make sure of that."
"I was hoping you would join the main strike force," Old Lu commented, making Klaus smile.

"I don't want to take all the fun from them," Klaus shamelessly said, of course, causing the Overlords and the Grand Elders to begin reevaluating the brat they had started to look up to.
"Just kidding. I, along with the queen and her daughter, will face the monster. But you all will handle the rest.
Of course, to get down a proper battle plan, I need to know about you. But don't worry, I am not planning to uncover your trump cards.
I just want to know how you fight and how best to create a coordination plan for the battle. So disregard my previous plan and listen to this one instead.
Only ten Ascendents will be left to handle things here that day. The rest will go with us, which will be a one-time thing. We wouldn't want to go and test the waters.
If we fail, it means the one attacking us next will be that monster. That will be dangerous for us, so we must succeed."
"When is this operation?" Overlord Isaac asked.
"Exactly two months from today. By then, you all will have finished learning the cultivation techniques I will give you for the Soul Bodies. That will raise your strength by a bit.
We cannot afford to take this lightly."
"We will not disappoint," Overlord Jose from the Southern Union said.
"Happy to hear that. But before we end this meeting, I will be meeting you all a week before the operation. Use this time to learn the cultivation techniques."
Klaus waved his hand, and golden plates flew toward the Overlords and the Grand Elders. They all caught them and looked at the inscriptions on them.
"That is the cultivation technique, unique to each and every one of you."
"Thank you, Klaus," Overlord Dharma said with a smile.
"Then this brings us to the end of our meeting. However, know that the coming months will be dangerous, so let's all do well to train and be ready."
The Overlords and Grand Elders nodded and left. Old Lu, Miriam, and Kathy also left, leaving only Klaus and the triplets.
"Klaus, I want to join the main strike force," Ohema protested, acting like a spoiled child.
"No can do, lady. You still haven't reached the third stage of the Poison Body Art. Until then, you cannot join such a battle.
Of course, if you somehow manage to reach the third stage and breakthrough before the next five weeks, I will add you to the main strike force.
Until then, you can fight the small fries," Klaus laughed, making Ohema pout.
"You clearly are underestimating me," she said, but Klaus just snorted and said nothing.
Ohema is powerful, but she is not built for one-on-one battles. She is more suited for crowd control because her poison is perfect for dealing with a large number of opponents.
If she were to join the main strike force, then it would be to prevent her teammates from getting poisoned.
"Don't worry, sister, I will take care of him. I won't let anything happen to him," Queenie said, bringing a smile to Klaus's face.
"Look at you sisters supporting your man. I wonder what this brat has given you two, making you fall head over heels for him," Queen Lunara said with a smirk.
"Nothing to wonder, my Queen. You will know soon enough," Klaus said.
"Tsk," the queen chuckled. "I am leaving; your mother is rather a peculiar kind of human." Queen Lunara, who has already had her hair braided three times, is starting to see Klaus's mom in a new light.
"She is the best, isn't she?" Klaus asked with a smile.
"She indeed is something," she smiled. "Then, see you later. If you have some time, come see me."
"Oh, I will come, alright," Klaus said with a smile on his face as he watched the beauty walk away.
"She is something," Klaus said.
"Mother is the most powerful person I have ever met, and I've met you. So don't even think about getting her into your bed," Ohema said with a proud smile.
"Ohema dear, do you believe in destiny?" Klaus asked.
"I do."
"Then do you believe me if I were to tell you that Queen Lunara is someone I cannot allow to slip through my fingers?" Klaus asked with an evil smile.
"That..." Ohema was at a loss for words. Klaus just smiled, moved in, and kissed her.
"No need to think too much. Just know that it would eventually happen if it was meant to be."
Klaus was smiling, but something else was playing out in his head. Inside his 7th core, the pentagon-shaped gem was glowing when he spoke with the Queen.
Now, he wondered just how she and Lulu connected to this gem. Suddenly, Klaus's expression changed, causing Queenie to ask.
"What is wrong, Klaus?"
"It's Nari; she is about to break through."
"What?"
"Don't panic, dear. Get Kathy, Miriam, and your mom and meet me up there," Klaus said, pointing upward before holding Ohema's hand.
They vanished, and the next second, they were flying up into the clouds.
