Valentina stared out at the kingdom she had created. Her bed faces her floor-to-ceiling windows. She pondered the people who were unaffected by the toxin. She wondered what these people had that made them different.

She hadn’t thought of them having a system or anything similar. Seh understood that there were some immune to certain drugs in everyday life. She didn’t expect that such people would exist when compared to her system.

She didn’t dwell on it long, however. She would see how long they could resist. And when she found these people, she would observe them closely. She decided to have Viktor keep an eye out for anyone who seemed out of the ordinary.

Back to Ember and Aiden, they had finally untangled themselves from each other. They had taken a bath and felt refreshed. It was good to know that the bath water did not contain the toxins. It told them that Valentina had some sort of water system. So the bath water was used by everyone.

The day was still early. They would soon meet up with the other newcomers. On the first day of entering, this was how they dealt with those who were new. They all ate together. After the first day, they were given work to do.

As for whether they would end up doing them, Ember had no idea. She remembered seeing the people having mindless sex when she first came in. They were wearing clothing that would indicate they were going to work, so it was possible that these people weren’t completely mindless.

A knock on the door brought Ember out of her thoughts. Cassandra and Luka were at the door.

"You two feeling better?" Ember asked.

"I feel amazing, actually," Cassandra said, smiling. She sank into the sofa in Ember and Aiden’s room.

Ember smirked and looked at Luka, who rubbed the back of his neck, embarrassed.

"Now, I’m really interested," Ember said, grinning widely.

"Not now," Aiden interjected. His eyes went to Luka, who shrugged.

"Brother, you’re no fun," she pouted.

Aiden spanked her ass. "You only call me brother when you want something now." Aiden put his finger on her lips before she could say anything else. Ember opened her mouth and sucked on his finger. "Tease," he said, removing his finger.

Aiden cleared his throat. "We need to talk about what to do now. We have to leave in a few minutes for lunch."

"The toxins...they’re in the food. The only thing I can do is use Aegis. We don’t become like them, but the need for sex is still going to be very present," Ember stated.

"We need information about this place. It’s why we came. We need to know what we’re dealing with, how powerful they are. We need to know if they are a threat. And from just the toxins alone, it tells me a lot," Aiden noted.

"So all we have to do is pretend," Cassandra responded. "That doesn’t seem so bad." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"And if they want to have?" Ember questioned.

Cassandra pursed her lips. She had been with Luka and Aiden, but that was different. Luka was her boyfriend. With Aiden, Luka saw her getting fucked. He wasn’t jealous then. But what about with other men?

Cassandra turned to Luka, whose eyes were narrowed. He was thinking about it.

"What about you two?" Luka asked.

"Us? Aiden wrapped his arm around Ember’s shoulder. "We’re fine. Honestly, we expected this. For a place like this. Sex is the only language that speaks. Having sex with someone else doesn’t change the way I feel about her."

"But that’s also our choice. There are a lot of couples who would be repulsed by the idea. But I don’t mind. As long as she knows she’s mine. Transactional sex to get what we both need is okay."

Ember nodded. What Aiden said was true. She expected both of them to have sex with different people. She also knew that with his status as Warden, Aiden could actually see her if he wanted. So for all his talk about being okay with her fucking other people.

The real reason he was fine with it was that he could watch her getting fucked. But Cassandra and Luka didn’t need to know Aiden was into voyeurism or cuckolding. Whatever choice they made, it would be up to them.

The couple was silent after hearing what Aiden said. They watched Ember’s reaction as he talked. She didn’t appear resistant to the idea.

"If...and I mean if, we need to have sex with other people. Can you do me a favour?" asked Luka. He was looking at Ember. "Can you stay with her? I would feel a lot better about this if I knew you were there."

"Weird, but okay," I’ll keep your lady in my sight at all times. You and Aiden can go have your own fun." Ember turned to Cassandra, "That okay with you, Cass?"

She nodded cautiously and looked at Luka.

"Then let’s get to lunch," Ember exclaimed.

As soon as they stepped outside, they saw the rest of the newcomers gathering together. Some were wrapped up in each other’s arms, and others were kissing. Some appeared obviously uncomfortable, but the tent in their pants and the way they crossed their legs suggested it was a different kind of discomfort.

"Looks like you’re gonna need a lot of chocolates, Luka," Ember quipped.

She dragged Aiden with her, down to the crowd, then in front of everyone, she palmed his crotch. It didn’t take long for Aiden to get hard, and then, just like any other man in the area, he was sporting an erection.
