The Lustful Villain: Every Milfs and Gilfs are Mine!-Chapter 140. She Confessed Her Love Right Before I Destroyed Everything. (Great Timing)
For Rex, starting this morning while two MILFs were all over him was totally helpful because it could boost all of his mind and body to be immune to the stress he’s having every time he makes a hard, manipulative plan.
Two women who were very close to each other, both at or near their highest desire, and both in his immediate area, were an infrastructure that would keep making money without needing constant care.
’It’s still kind of a disappointment that their husbands are not here; if they did... they could at least see this moment and feel something about it.’
’Even if they try to argue it... they probably can’t.’
Rex was in the middle of this assessment when Talyra walked in through the dining room door, followed by Aisella. The look on Talyra’s face when she realized how warm the scene was when she walked in would have been funny in any other situation.
She came to a halt, and she turned to Rex. Then she looked at Marceline, who was refilling his cup with the ease of someone who had done it a lot before.
She looked at Mara, who was leaning on the table and had the look of someone who was very happy with the morning.
"Ahh!" Talyra was surprised, but then she could keep her cool. "U-Um..."
"Good morning, Talyra, Aisella. It seems like both of you really came to pick me up," Rex said. "Sit down if you want to eat something, and we’re leaving in twenty minutes."
Both of them nodded. Talyra sat down while Aisella sat next to her and didn’t seem to be thinking about the situation as much.
This was because Aisella was the type of person who could sense the emotional atmosphere of a room and make the decision to be careful until she understood it better, and it feels kind of awkward to barge in just to see this atmosphere.
Marceline made two more cups with the ease of someone who ran an inn. Mara seemed to be having a wonderful time with everyone around her.
The twenty minutes went by quickly, and when Rex stood up and said it was time to go, the group that walked out of the Silver Rest and into the morning streets of Aethelgard looked like people who had come to the same table from different directions and were just starting to put together a picture of it.
Talyra leaned over to Rex and whispered, "Were those two... did you...?" after they had walked half a block down the street.
"We only had a normal morning conversation," Rex said.
"That seemed like more than just a conversation," Talyra said in a low voice. "I could tell it from the wind inside the room... It’s a different kind of wind."
"Never once trust the wind... even if you’re good at it," Rex said. "And the most important thing is that the coffee was very good."
Talyra’s face showed a lot of different emotions at once, but she stopped trying to sort them out and went back to walking because she didn’t want to dig deep into his relationship with someone else.
...
The full assembly were gathered at the Academy’s east gate when they arrived.
Elizabeth Von Starlight was standing in front of a folded map that she had opened against a mounting board. She was going through the briefing with the clipped, precise efficiency of someone who had done operational deployments before and thought that civilian-style presentations were too slow.
"Dungeon designation: the Thornmaze of Gareth," she said, pointing to the right part of the map as the students, Apostle party members, and other staff members got their bearings. "Natural formation, about two hundred years old based on structural records."
"It used to be a network of mining tunnels that collapsed due to seismic activity and was then taken over by monsters moving in from the lowlands."
"Three levels confirmed by previous expedition records."
"Upper level: standard mixed monster population, goblins, dire wolves, lesser earth elementals."
"Mid-level: higher density, more organised monster types including orc warbands, shadow crawlers, and territorial cave beasts." She paused. "The three missing parties were last confirmed by their tracking signals on the lower level, which is where they were last seen."
"The lower level is uncharted beyond the first survey that the first party did before they stopped reporting."
"Formation assignments are up." She pointed to the sheet on the second board. "Check yours before we move."
"We keep our formation together unless something happens that makes it impossible. If your formation gets split, regroup at the rally points shown on the secondary map that each of you will be carrying."
Rex looked at the sheet with the formation on it. He was put in a core trio with Talyra and Aisella, and two other students he knew from the general honor division made up their wider group.
They worked together as an archer unit with telekinetic support. The formation put him in the middle, which was exactly where he needed to be for what he had planned.
The lead group was Apollo’s formation. Standard for him, since things always seemed to work out that way around him. Kaelira was in his direct formation, where she was there to help with the front-line assault.
Theo’s formation was on the right flank, and Diana was in the scout-forward position, which Rex had expected.
"Good," he thought as he plotted the groups on the dungeon’s three levels. "If the lower level breaks the formations the way Elizabeth’s data says it will and if Lilith’s people are in the right place, Kaelira’s group will naturally separate."
"It won’t look like anything.
[INCOMING TELEPATHIC TRANSMISSION — LILITH NOCTURNE]
The signal came in clean, tight, the specific channel they had established for operational use. Rex acknowledged it without changing his expression.
[ALL UNITS POSITIONED — UNDERLAYER MAIDS IN SHADOW-PHASE THROUGHOUT DUNGEON LEVELS ONE, TWO, AND THREE — NO DETECTION EVENTS — AWAITING YOUR SIGNAL TO INITIATE]
Rex sent back just one acknowledgement pulse.
He looked at the people around him: Elizabeth was still going over the secondary briefing points, Apollo was standing at the front with that effortless attentiveness, and Kaelira was slightly behind and to his left.
When Apollo said something funny, Kaelira’s face changed. It wasn’t quite a smile, but it wasn’t neutral either.
It was an unguarded expression that she quickly altered when she noticed someone might be watching.
Rex, who had been observing their seating arrangement for the majority of the meeting, was taken aback by what he witnessed in the final fifteen minutes.
’Fucking great...’
’Keep on bonding like that because it’s going to be your last...’
He had been too far away from them for most of the time, but his foresight brought him close when he needed it. The piece of scenery he had picked up about ten minutes earlier had been important.
They were a little bit apart from the rest of the group, near the stone pillar at the gate. Their voices wouldn’t carry, but it wasn’t private.
He couldn’t hear everything, but he could tell what the conversation was about just by looking at the body language. His foresight filled in the blanks.
Kaelira had said something. Apollo had stopped moving, like people do when they realize that a moment has changed in meaning.
There was a pause, and then Apollo moved forward. What happened next lasted about four seconds, and those four seconds changed the meaning of everything that came before them.
Rex had filed it right away, with Kaelira being the first. She was the first of the nine to say it, and Apollo got it and answered in the straightforward way that was natural for him.
Rex looked at Kaelira, who was standing in the morning light with the look of someone who had been carrying something heavy for a long time and had finally put it down. She seemed to be getting lighter.
She looked really happy, which was different from how she usually looked, which was guarded, confident.
"Good," Rex thought, but he meant something very different than anyone else in the room would have thought. "It really is great fucking timing knowing she confessed her feelings to him..."
’If the plan were executed perfectly, then it would affect his mental and mind...’ Rex smirks. ’That’s even better than what I had in mind.’
’I fucking love seeing the main character slowly losing their minds, and I’m about to make it happen...’
Theo’s voice carried over the assembly as Elizabeth finished. "Alright, everyone knows their positions."
"We move in ten minutes, so make sure to check your own equipment, remind your partner to check theirs, and then let’s go raid some dungeons!"
"Yeah!!!"
