The Maid's Rise to Be a President's Wife-Chapter 194: Her True Appearance
Chapter 194 - Her True Appearance
Ji Minze stared at the woman in front of him who was wearing black-rimmed glasses, had a slightly dark complexion, had a strange hairstyle, and was dressed in a rather vulgar way. He really couldn't associate her with the person he knew.
Just then, Yiren's phone rang.

"Excuse me! I need to answer this call," Yiren said. She felt very uncomfortable being stared at, and the call was just in time to rescue her from the awkward situation. However, she forgot about the phone charm on her phone. So when she took out the phone from her bag, Ji Minze recognized the charm at a glance. He had the exact same charm hanging on his phone now.
It was Cheng Yuxuan calling, telling her that he would be back next month.
When Yiren walked back to the living room after answering the call, Ji Minze blocked her way. He took off her glasses and saw her eyes that were as bright as autumn water and as beautiful as a blooming peach blossom.
"It's really you!" Ji Minze couldn't believe that the ugly woman who had been coming and going under his nose for a while was actually Yiren.
"I didn't mean to hide it. I've always dressed like this before," Yiren said quickly, snatching back her glasses and putting them on.
"What other secrets do you have that I don't know about?" Ji Minze asked Yiren, who had sat back on the sofa. She wasn't Cheng Yuxuan's girlfriend, she was a Taekwondo red belt master, and her two completely different looks and so on always brought him surprises. How many more things about her didn't he know?
"None! I've always been like this, ever since middle school," Yiren said. She felt it was strange to be stared at by Ji Minze! Before this, she could consider him a friend, but now that her identity was exposed, she could only consider him her superior, and a superior who was several levels above her.
"Why do you dress like this?" Ji Minze asked after scanning her. Aren't girls supposed to love being beautiful? But she deliberately dressed herself up to look ugly.
"Nothing. I'm used to it," Yiren said. Suddenly, she felt like a pervert. She guessed that only a pervert would dress like this.
"Change this strange attire starting from tomorrow," Ji Minze still said. Although he knew he didn't have the right to ask her to do this, he really couldn't stand seeing a nice person dressed like an old woman.
"Why?" Yiren asked in confusion. And the tone in which he spoke to her was so strange, as if he were her family member.
"I don't want my employee's clothing and appearance to affect the company's image," Ji Minze said, and when he said this, there was a faint smile on his face!
"You!" Yiren almost fainted. This reason was really mean! "Your reason is quite shocking," Yiren said, holding back the urge to pat Ji Minze on the shoulder because he was her superior.
"Minze!"
A girl walked in from outside. Yiren recognized her at a glance as Ji Minze's fiancée—Tang Rui! Because she was a girl full of classical charm, with a smile that could make one's heart flutter, and she was unforgettable.
"Who is this?" Tang Rui looked Yiren up and down and asked with a smile.
"Hello! I'm Yiren, an employee of the sales department," Yiren said quickly, standing up to explain. "Designer Ji invited me to be a guest here."
"Hello! I'm Minze's fiancée, Tang Rui. Nice to meet you," Tang Rui said to Yiren, still maintaining a faint smile. It seemed that she didn't recognize at all that the Yiren in front of her was the same Yiren who had appeared at the Cheng family's party. "Minze, where's Auntie?"
"She's in the kitchen preparing dinner," Minze said to Tang Rui.
"Then you two can continue chatting. I'll go and help," Tang Rui said to them, showing the demeanor that a lady from a good family should have.
