Chapter 254 - An unsigned divorce agreement

Tang Lei obediently underwent the surgery. And the surgery was a great success. The blood clot in her brain had been completely removed, and she had regained all her memories and remembered all the past events.
Tang Lei woke up. She opened her eyes and saw George Ryan's concerned gaze. He always looked at her so tenderly, as gentle as a clear blue lake, making her almost melt in his heart.
"Honey, there's something I want to ask you," Tang Lei said softly.
"Ke'er, don't say it yet. When you're fully recovered, I'll agree with whatever you want to do," George Ryan stopped her. He knew what Ke'er was going to say, but he didn't want it to be so soon!
If there's anything in the world that can make someone feel guilty and heartbroken, it's facing someone who loves you while you cruelly do something to hurt them.
"I'm sorry," Tang Lei said, looking at George Ryan. She couldn't control her heart. If she could, she would be willing to continue loving George Ryan as before. But after regaining her memories, she knew she couldn't do it anymore. Ji Minze was her whole life, and she could even die for him.
"No need to apologize. You've always been so willful, haven't you?" George Ryan said with a tolerant smile. He had originally brought Ke'er here to find out about her background, but unexpectedly, he was sending her back into the arms of the man she loved. His little fairy was about to leave him and go to the place that truly belonged to her.
"Don't be so good to me. If you're this good to me, I'll be even sadder," Tang Lei said with red eyes. No matter what she did wrong, George Ryan would always forgive her. He always tolerated being tolerant of/embraced and loved her with the most selfless heart.
"Don't be sad. My little fairy won't be pretty when she cries," George Ryan wiped away the tears that welled up in Tang Lei's eyes. He preferred to see her smile rather than cry!
Tang Lei stopped crying and smiled.
She looked at George Ryan, who had doted on her and loved her for so many years. There was an attachment in her heart, but for the sake of Ji Minze, she could only give him up.
Just as Ji Minze said, she had hurt the person who loved her.
Three months later, Tang Lei had fully recovered. She still often appeared in Ji Minze's office as before. The only difference was that she couldn't put her arms around Ji Minze's neck and rub her face against him to act coquettishly like she used to.
"Are you free again today?" Ji Minze continued to look at the documents and asked Tang Lei.
"Yes," Tang Lei said as she sat on the chair opposite Ji Minze.
"Then you still have time to come and see me," Ji Minze looked up at Tang Lei and said. She still seemed full of energy.
"The most important thing I do every day now is to think of Brother Minze. So, of course, I have time to come and see Brother Minze," Tang Lei said bluntly. Just as bravely as when she was 14 and told others that she was Ji Minze's girlfriend.
The pen in Ji Minze's hand paused for a moment. Tang Lei had never hidden her love for him. It was the same back then, and it was still the same now. She was always so brave and straightforward at expressing her love.
"Tang Lei, I'm already married," Ji Minze reiterated.
"As long as Brother Minze still loves Tang Lei in his heart, Tang Lei doesn't mind that Brother Minze is already married," Tang Lei looked at Ji Minze and said. She already knew that Yiren had chosen to leave because of the relationship between her and Ji Minze. Didn't Yiren leave just to fulfill their relationship?
Ji Minze didn't say anything more and just lowered his head to continue looking at the documents. He couldn't change Tang Lei. She had been such a persistent person since she was a child. Once she set her mind on something, she had to get it. Otherwise, she would keep crying and fussing, which was why he always gave in to her.
"Brother Minze, it will be my birthday in two days. You must come to my birthday party," Tang Lei said again.
Ji Minze nodded.
"I'm so happy!" Tang Lei ran over, hugged Ji Minze, and kissed him in the face. Then she said, "I'm going back now. Brother Minze, don't forget my birthday present!"
Ji Minze still nodded and didn't say anything.
Tang Lei left Ji Minze's office.
Ji Minze stopped his work.
Seeing Tang Lei, he thought of Yiren again, who was still missing. She always tugged at his heartstrings!
This was also the reason why he hadn't signed that divorce agreement.
Life is full of a series of choices, and we often lose our way in front of these choices....
In the bustling city of Tokyo, Yiren closed her heart. She didn't want to love anyone anymore, nor did she want to care about anyone's feelings! She selfishly chose to live a life alone.
