The Most Random System-Chapter 747 - 376: Actually, the Two-Headed Dragon Is a Very Worldly Existence (Part 3)
"Wu Dong, go give him a kick," Qin Jun was surprised by Zhao Nan's reaction, surprised at how this guy was still playing along with an idiot. Then he coldly laughed and ordered his underlings.
He then looked at Lin Li again, his gaze full of disdain and mockery:
"Where did this lunatic come from, hurry up and get lost with your tricks. I don't have time to play dumb games with you. Black Silk Hero? That's hilarious, I might as well be a Spraying Warrior!"
Qin Jun's mockery also brought his underlings out of their shock at Lin Li's costume, leading them to burst out laughing and start mocking Lin Li as well.
Lin Li just smiled earnestly and said:
"Gentlemen, since you are suspected of gang fighting and intentional harm, you are now surrounded by me. Everyone, put your hands over your heads and squat down, surrender peacefully. Resistance is pointless and will only cause unnecessary harm."
Qin Jun burst out laughing.
He's now more convinced than ever that this Black Silk Hero is straight out of a mental hospital.
Surrounding a whole crowd by himself, what, are you a Wolf Warrior too?
"If he doesn't appreciate your face, then go kick his ass together. Wu Dong, stop kicking him and kick this idiot."
After laughing it off, Qin Jun felt looked down upon and played with, his expression gradually turning vicious as he looked at Lin Li and spoke word for word:
"Black Silk Hero, you have three seconds to run, but... you might not be able to get away."
"I'm not running," Lin Li shook his head.
Facing Wu Dong who was charging at him, Lin Li simply smirked, maintaining a detached calmness.
Spinning, leaping, he closed his eyes.
The stick wielded by Wu Dong whooshed through the air, but it only brought wind, missing each time.
Lin Li strolled leisurely, and Wu Dong couldn't land a single hit on him, looking more like Lin Li was toying with him.
"Not a total idiot, there's something there. All of you, attack together," Qin Jun frowned, lowering his voice to a few guys beside him, "don't hold back, knock him down first."
Meanwhile, noticing several people trying to circle around behind him, Lin Li dodged Wu Dong's stick again, shrugging as if a little helpless:
"It's bad enough so many of you are ganging up on me, can't you fight barehanded without weapons? This is really not martial virtue."
"Who's fucking talking martial virtue with you!" Qin Jun sneered viscously, loosening up his joints.
He would also strike if the opportunity arose. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"Black Silk Hero! What are you waiting for! Show them your weapon! Show them! Quickly! Make this night their end!" Zhao Nan shouted loudly like a fanboy.
Quickly let them feel the terror of tonight! Quick!
Huh? This guy knows me?
The words Lin Li was about to say were swallowed back. Curiously, he looked towards Zhao Nan, examining him carefully.
"Oh——! You're that Nanzi from the other day, right?"
Lin Li had a good memory. Although Zhao Nan's face was bruised and swollen now, he still barely recognized him.
"It's me! Black Silk Hero! Whip them! Whip out your dazzling—ow——" Zhao Nan nodded excitedly, then got kicked hard by Qin Jun.
"So it's an old acquaintance coming to the rescue, huh? Haha," Qin Jun sneered, his gaze even more vicious.
Lin Li chuckled, evading the attacks again. He took off his backpack and held it in front of him: "Since you wish, and they insist on using weapons to gang up on me, I have to retaliate with weapons too."
Zhao Nan, who had been grimacing in pain, gritted his teeth upon hearing these words, staring fixedly at Lin Li's backpack.
Anticipation!
"Don't give him the chance!" Several people suddenly charged forward together.
But it was too late.
Lin Li's hand had already come out of his backpack, immediately sweeping out in front of him.
He had no weapons, but he flung a handful of dust. With his movement, it flew forward in a straight line.
In an instant, the air filled with dust and some fragments, all smashing towards the people charging Lin Li, making a crisp popping sound as they hit clothes.
"What the heck? It all got into my clothes!"
"Cough, cough! Damn it, it's in my nose!"
"Fuck! Is this quicklime? Playing dirty? It got in my eyes and mouth; am I going blind?"
The suddenly bewildered charging crowd found themselves stunned by the unexpected situation.
"Huh? Where's the flashing lightsword! That's what I wanted to see!!"
Zhao Nan was the most upset, although he wasn't hit by the dust.
The crowd waved away the lingering dust, pausing to pat their clothes, frowning as they looked at Lin Li.
They watched as Lin Li continued to unzip his backpack, took out a box, and held it in his palm while his other hand continued to rummage inside.
Tonight, there weren't many clouds, and the clear moonlight provided everyone with ample visibility.
Thus, they all saw a pitch-black box with defined lines and clear contours, with minimal carvings. The left side read "Si," and the right read "Nian."
The center of the box had an oval jade area, embedded with a black-and-white photo of an old man with a kindly smile.
Lin Li finished with his 'digging in the small garden,' pulling out another handful of dust and pale fragments from the box.
He grabbed so much that as he withdrew, they slowly leaked through his fingers.
Swish—
Lin Li swept forward again in a straight line, the air became turbid again, and heavier fragments once again hit the silent people in front of him.
"..."
"..."
Zhao Nan, Wu Dong, Qin Jun, and everyone else: "(;☉_☉)?"
For a moment, the area was eerily silent, save for the wails of those still curled on the ground, unaware of what was happening.
Wu Dong swallowed hard, licking the corners of his mouth.
He didn't attack Lin Li but looked at his partner beside him. Though he looked, his eyes were unfocused as he slowly spoke:
"Hey, Jin Di, did I see wrong, or does it look... like he's holding an urn ☉_☉?"
"It, it, it does look like it ☉_☉..." responded the startled partner, stuttering.
"..."
"..."
"Wait a minute, then what's on me..." Wu Dong looked down at the white dust nestled into the seams of his clothes.
"What's in my nostrils then..."
"Hey, no, what's in my mouth(┬┬﹏┬┬)..."
"Holy shit!!"
"You motherfucker!!"
The silence abruptly ended like the calm before the storm, as those showered with ashes exploded into high-pitched dolphin screeches.
They each dropped their weapons, frantically slapping their clothes and faces.
Jin Di, having a weaker mental endurance, was the one who had inadvertently ingested a lot, so after a few seconds of standing dumbly, he clutched his mouth and ran to a tree to vomit.
"Blergh—yuck—blergh—"
Zhao Nan on the ground no longer felt disappointment, only shock and horror.
He closed his eyes, opened them, closed them again, and opened them once more...
Wait a minute, this isn't a hallucination?
Am I really not dreaming?
Honestly.
Zhao Nan suddenly thought.
Getting whipped into an idiot by a double-headed shining stick isn't so scary after all.
Pretty nice, really.
Wait, why is there a bit of white before my eyes?
Zhao Nan shivered, then quickly held his breath and began blowing frantically forward: "Poof—! Poof—!"
Fuck, stay away, you damn dust!!!
