The Only Spatial Ability User In The Apocalypse-Chapter 69 A pair of black eyes
The high-level zombie lunged at Sylas with its claws aimed at him. Black mist swirled around its claws.
Sylas gritted his teeth as space energy fluctuated from his body and dragged the spatial rifts toward the zombie.
The high-level zombie twisted its body midair, black mist exploding from its body as it tried to avoid the spatial rift.
But the spatial rifts sucked the high-level zombie toward them. One spatial rift caught its arm.
Rip!
The zombie's arm was torn off by the spatial rift and vanished into the void.
Blood sprayed everywhere, and the zombie screeched in pain. The zombie slammed into the ground, shrieking in fury, but it didn't die. Instead, the black mist surged violently, forming tendrils that slammed into Sylas's space barrier.
Bang! Bang!
The tendrils of black mist hit the space barrier repeatedly, sending shockwaves. Sylas was thrown backward due to the impact.
Crack!
He hit the glass wall of the shop. Glass shattered, and Sylas collapsed to one knee.
Sylas felt his vision becoming blurred, but he quickly shook his head and got up, taking a deep breath.
Space energy surged violently, and the air around him twisted. The spatial rifts started to expand, closing in on the high-level zombie.
The zombie sensed danger and let out a shrill screech. Black mist swirled around its body like a serpent, and at the same time, the mental attack intensified.
Sylas staggered slightly as blood started to come out from his orifices. But he didn't stop his actions. His energy was draining at a very fast speed.
A massive spatial rift opened, and nearby objects were sucked into the spatial rift.
Sylas's entire body started trembling, and his veins bulged. This move was very dangerous. He himself could not fully control spatial rifts. He dared not make a slight mistake.
The zombie lunged at Sylas once again, and black mist erupted like a storm, surging toward Sylas.
Mental attacks bombarded Sylas nonstop. His consciousness was attacked continuously, but Sylas endured it.
Finally, the spatial rift slammed toward the zombie. The suction force from the spatial rift pulled the zombie toward it. The zombie's shrill screech rang out as it struggled to get away from the spatial rift.
At the same time, Sylas sent out a compressed spatial blade, gritting his teeth. The zombie could not avoid the spatial blade due to the spatial rift. Its head was severed by the compressed spatial blade. The high-level zombie's head fell to the ground with a thud.
The zombie's body was torn apart violently, limb by limb. Flesh and bones were all sucked into the spatial rift, disappearing into the void. The black mist in the surroundings was also sucked into the spatial rift.
Sylas's legs trembled as he slammed both palms together and shouted, "Close!"
The air distorted violently as spatial energy fluctuated before sending shockwaves through the air, and the spatial rift closed with a boom.
Sylas dropped to the ground. Both his hands and knees were on the ground as he coughed out a mouthful of blood. Sylas struggled to breathe, and he instantly collapsed.
His space energy was completely depleted. His vision faded in and out. He lay on his back, staring at the ruined sky. His breathing was shallow.
Minutes passed.
Eventually, Sylas forced himself up. His body ached, and his head was still dizzy. But he still staggered toward where the zombie's head had fallen and cut it open.
Inside was a white energy stone, slightly bigger than the size of a marble, but the energy inside was far denser than the others he had encountered.
"A high-level energy stone…" Sylas muttered and tossed it into his space.
As soon as the energy stone entered his space, it immediately started to be absorbed. Sylas could feel his drained energy slowly recovering.
Sylas took out a bottle of water and gulped it down, then washed his face, which was covered in blood.
Pouring the remaining water over his head, Sylas shook it, sending water droplets flying through the air.
Ha…!
Sylas finally let out a sigh of relief and started scanning his surroundings.
His senses stretched outward, scanning every nook and corner they could reach. The presence of a high-level zombie meant it could command low-level zombies, so he was worried there might be an army of zombies nearby.
After repeatedly scanning the surroundings, Sylas didn't find any zombies or mutated creatures nearby.
He took out his car from his space, started the engine, and drove away from the area.
Along the way, he didn't dare relax. His senses were constantly on watch.
After driving for a few minutes, Sylas saw an overturned truck blocking the way. He frowned at the sight. Major Kyle and the others had also passed through this road recently, so it could only mean that the truck was overturned after they passed.
Sylas stopped the car and looked around vigilantly. Whether it was a coincidence or not, he didn't dare let down his guard.
If someone or something was intentionally trying to block his way, it could only mean one thing. He was being targeted.
Sylas slowly opened the car door and stepped out. He narrowed his eyes as he looked around the silent and desolate street. His senses didn't sense anything around him, but he remained on guard.
Sylas walked toward the overturned truck and waved his hand. The truck disappeared from the road in an instant. He then walked to the side of the road and waved his hand again. The truck immediately reappeared there.
Sylas turned around and walked back to his car. But when his hand touched the car handle, he immediately froze.
Sylas felt all his hair stand on end as chills ran down his spine.
"What on earth is that?" Sylas thought as he gulped.
His body started trembling on its own. Sylas slowly turned his head stiffly. In front of him, a few dozen meters down the road, Sylas saw a pair of dark eyes staring at him.
