The Pregnant Treasured Little Wife: Master Lancaster's Nightly Coaxing-Chapter 149: Disdain
He strode outside, afraid that his treasure might hear something.
Willow Scott watched the man’s back, a smile forming on her lips as she quickly followed.
Once in the car, Elias Lancaster drove away from Norris Gardens.
He parked on a small road.
At this moment, his entire being radiated hostility, his handsome face somber and dark.
"Why didn’t you take the pill?" Elias Lancaster gritted his teeth and asked.
His tone was furious.
Willow Scott feigned complete innocence.
"I... I didn’t know, it was my first time too, I didn’t know what to do.
Young Master Lancaster, I’m scared, what should I do now?"
She cried while wiping her tears away.
Elias Lancaster didn’t even want to look at her, his mind in disarray.
"I’ll have someone take you to the hospital to get rid of it."
"But..." Willow Scott bit her lip, "What if I run into someone I know? What will I do if people find out?"
She cried softly.
"I looked online, and many people said once you have an abortion, you might not be able to conceive again. What if I can never be a mother?"
Elias went silent for a moment.
His mind was a mess.
Whenever he thought of Serena, his heart ached.
This maid was innocent too, it was he who had hurt her.
Elias Lancaster’s heart was in agony.
Willow Scott sensed it was the right time.
"Young Master Lancaster, could I give birth to the child? I promise not to let Miss Keaton know. You can send me abroad, and I will never set foot in Aethelgard again.
I will take good care of the child and will not cause you any trouble."
She was well aware that this man would never let her keep the child, and he would certainly give her a sum of money to have the abortion.
Even if she were eventually allowed to keep it, she would find the right opportunity to "accidentally" miscarry.
After all, all she wanted was money; nothing else mattered.
Elias Lancaster hesitated.
But he couldn’t betray his treasure.
Suddenly, an idea flashed through his mind.
"You want to keep it?"
Willow Scott hadn’t expected that this man might actually be willing for her to have the child. She looked at him in surprise.
"I don’t know, I’m just afraid... afraid that if I have an abortion, I won’t be able to become a mother in the future."
Then she lowered her head and cried sorrowfully.
Elias Lancaster’s expression grew grim.
Coupled with her cries, he couldn’t think straight.
"I will ensure you’re supported for life. Go get the abortion."
Willow Scott said nothing, simply hung her head and cried.
Lifetime support, how much is that?
She was full of anticipation.
Elias Lancaster directly asked, "How much do you want?"
Willow Scott said nothing, simply hung her head and cried.
Elias continued, "Account number, I’ll transfer twenty million to you first."
Willow Scott took out a prepared bank card from her bag and handed it to him.
Elias Lancaster noted down the account number and said coldly, "Someone will take you to the hospital tomorrow."
Willow Scott nodded.
"Get out. Don’t come to Norris Gardens unless necessary, call if you need anything."
"I understand."
Willow Scott cried as she pushed the car door open and got out.
Elias Lancaster was worried that being away too long would arouse suspicion from Serena Keaton, so he rushed the car back to Norris Gardens.
Willow Scott watched the car drive away, her tear-streaked face instantly transformed as a cunning smile appeared.
The Lancaster Family is so well-off.
A mere twenty million is just the tip of the iceberg for them.
It’s a good thing she’s smart; the day she left Norris Gardens, she immediately found someone to sleep with and successfully got pregnant.
Filled with joy, she hailed a cab back to her place.
Elias Lancaster returned home and went straight to the study.
Until dinner, Serena Keaton didn’t see him, checked the guest room and found no one, then went to the study.
Pushing open the study door, Serena saw the man leaning back in his chair, eyes closed, seemingly asleep.
She walked over quietly and brushed the stray hair from his forehead with her hand.
The man opened his eyes, saw her, stretched out his arm, pulled her by the waist, and let her sit on his lap.
Serena looked at him, "Elias, are you very tired?"
"No, just thinking."
Serena stroked his handsome face. "Were you thinking about the babies?"
Elias Lancaster’s eyes were deep, "Treasure."
"Hm?"
He held her tightly, lowered his head to kiss her lips, and his voice was sensual and hoarse, "Treasure, I love you."
The five words made Serena’s face blush.
She straddled his lap, leaned in close to his ear, and whispered, "Elias, I love you too."
With those words, she looked into his handsome face and kissed him.
Elias took charge, holding her head and deepening the kiss.
He missed her.
Missed her very much.
This way, he wouldn’t think about anything else.
He loved his treasure deeply.
So the child can’t stay.
Only his treasure can give him children.
But at the critical moment, Elias suddenly stopped.
He pushed Serena Keaton away.
Serena Keaton hadn’t expected Elias to stop.
She stared blankly at his face.
What was the look on his face?
Was it... disdain?
Her heart ached, "What’s wrong?"
Elias hurried to explain.
"You just got out of the hospital, you need time to recuperate."
"You were just so..."
"I’m afraid I won’t be able to control myself and hurt you. Let’s have dinner first."
With that, he fixed their clothes, picked her up, and walked out of the study toward downstairs.
The events of that day kept replaying in his mind; he didn’t deserve such a perfect treasure.
Suddenly, he lost interest.
Serena felt that this man was hiding something from her.
Thinking back, he was clearly about to...
Yet suddenly stopped, with that look on his face, it was clearly disdain.
Serena’s heart tightened with pain.
The two ate dinner quietly.
Suddenly.
"Treasure, sleep early tonight, Brandon Grayson wants to discuss something, so I’ll head out."
With those words, Serena became even more suspicious.
But she still agreed.
"Go ahead if you have work to do."
Elias added, "Why don’t you come with me? We can come back early."
"You two men have things to discuss, it’s not appropriate for me to go."
She kept her head down, eating, while her heart ached to the point of suffocation.
Elias noticed her mood and comforted her, "Treasure, I’ll be back as soon as I can, okay?"
"Okay~ I’ll wait for you."
She lifted her head, suppressed her emotions, and forced a smile.
Who was he?
He was Elias Lancaster, Aethelgard’s renowned Master Lancaster.
He cherished her like a precious gem, how could he possibly disdain her?
Maybe because he’d mentioned divorce that day, she felt insecure and began to overthink.
Serena kept telling herself that the two of them had reconciled, and Elias promised he wouldn’t divorce, that they’d live happily forever.
After dinner.
Elias took her for a walk around Norris Gardens, escorted her back to her room, and then left.
