The Primordial Record-Chapter 1497 Dawn Of The Supreme Era (12)
Chapter 1497 Dawn Of The Supreme Era (12)
Every word from Primordial Chaos struck Caine like a blow to the skull, for they contained far more information than anything that Caine had ever personally consumed, and he knew that it was because Primordial Chaos was showing him a vision of the past and the future from a Primordial's perspective. Caine saw a drop of blood, blacker than ink, leave the form of a massive entity, which was the body of Primordial Chaos, it flew out of the gates of Oblivion and it traveled at speeds beyond comprehension where it descended on the body of a man, someone he recognized-Rowan.

Surrounded by massive flying serpents that burned with the color of gold, the blood of Primordial Chaos fused with him, and something... changed.
It was in his presence, the way the wind seemed to caress every inch of his skin, blowing his long golden hair around like a tempturous cloud, and the weight of solemnity in his gaze, that made Caine shiver and he realized that even as a mere mortal, he had never known Rowan at all, never seen the true depths of his character.
"He is beautiful, is he not? This bearer of Truth."
Reality shattered around Rowan as the words of Primordial Chaos began to show him more. Caine watched Rowan break away from the Nexus, defeated all the oppositions placed against him, and then he began to witness miracles that made him freeze in awe.
When Rowan had reached the Rift State and a beam of golden light had shot out of his body as he cried out in acknowledgment of his growing might, Primordial Chaos was there, sensing his endless potential rippling across the weaves of space and time.
In the eyes of the Primordial, Rowan's light was still incredibly fragile, but how it burned so bright.
With the eyes of Primordial Chaos, Caine could see more, he could feel more and he understood how glorious was the existence that stood before him.
Then he watched Rowan destroy the universe when he let the flames in his heart burn too bright, and out of the ashes of the destruction, time and space bent towards him, offering him the means to rule them.
Rowan did not seem to even understand the ramifications of his actions, he
simply took control of reality and it obeyed his commands.
'This is madness!"
Primordial Chaos nudged his thoughts away from this vision,
"No, this is the budding of Truth."
Caine was drawn into more fantastical visions, that became even more horrifying when he considered that this was all coming from a mortal.
He saw the first Angel born...
...Saw the amalgamation of Darkness and Light into a terrible fusion which created these entities of such profane abilities that he could no longer refer to them as Angels in his heart, as Rowan made... her.
...Saw a mortal, killing the immortal, and for something so momentous, against all the things he was witnessing, it no longer appeared as impressive...
...Saw madness that was pure yet ruthlessly contained under a shell of order and purpose so powerful that reality twisted to obey the will of this-this abomination...
Then he saw it, the moment he had first come across this man when Rowan broke apart the Intent of Primordial Chaos and consequently fueled the insanity of Caine to feverish heights.
It was an odd experience, viewing one of the momentous occasion of his life from the eyes of Primordial Chaos.
During all of these previous events of Rowan's life, the gaze of Primordial Chaos was not far from him, wrapped around his body like a shroud, fully experiencing everything that Rowan was going through, like a second skin that was slowly penetrating deeper into Rowan's consciousness, and with an effort of an unreadable amount of will that Caine would never have previously believed could be contained in the body of a mortal, Rowan began devouring the Intent of Primordial Chaos!
If Caine had been more aware of his surroundings he would have noticed a slight twitch in the feet of Primordial Chaos when that memory began to play out. He would have known it was irritation and inferred that even the supremely powerful Primordial who had the fate of Rowan from the moment he activated his bloodline powers, did not anticipate what this child was capable of accomplishing.
Would this sight have broken the spell that Primordial Chaos had placed on his mind? It was unknown and perhaps it did not even matter for Caine was too deep in the vision from the Primordial.
What he saw was the perspective of Primordial Chaos shifting away from Rowan, at first it had nearly dominated his entire body, and then as Rowan kept reaffirming who he was, the perception of Primordial Chaos began to retreat like a tide, every word from Rowan was like a tide of power buffeting against the shackles of the Primordial, and he was winning.
The same way this child had effortless commanded space, time, fate and destiny to obey his Will in the past, tearing apart structural foundations that even Old Ones had not fully understood or controlled, was fully displayed here and Caine discovered something absolutely terrifying.
In an attempt to block Rowan from casting aside his hold over him, Primordial Chaos had wrenched Caine from the other side of reality, broken apart a portion of fate and destiny, and intertwined it with the fabrics of this universe. Caine who had never been a part of this story, that should have never known Rowan or what was happening in the tiny portion of the lower realm was taken into the past where he began to interact with the shadows of the fallen
Primordial of Time.
He had began drawing closer to these creatures out of curiosity as he attempted to learn how they had been able to seemingly break free from the hold of their Primogenitor.
At that time Caine had been proud of his discovery, silently protecting the Reflections of the Eye of Time from everyone that wanted to hunt them down, he knew that one day he would have a great harvest, however, he had not know that even at that moment, he was simply a pawn in a game that he did not understand.
