The Revenge of the Reborn Supreme Sovereign-Chapter 27 - 26:
After walking two to three hundred meters, Qin Fan strolled leisurely into the pavilion that spanned the lotus pond, his hands in his pockets. The two slow-moving Audis quickly stopped at the edge of the pond, and the entire Ye family hurried out, rushing toward the pavilion.
"Lord Qin!"
"Lord Qin!"
Ye Congjun and his son approached Qin Fan, their faces full of obsequious smiles as they greeted him.
Though he had a pretty good idea of the family’s intentions, Qin Fan still asked with a playful smile, "Speak. What do you want from me?"
One was a regional magnate, Ye Congjun. The other was the overlord of Jiangzhou, Ye Jizu. Watching them fawn and flatter him, Qin Fan remained completely indifferent, his heart unstirred. His five-hundred-year journey of Cultivation had led him to look down upon this world with contempt. You could call him presumptuous, conceited, or arrogant, but he had the confidence and the capital to back it up. Even someone with a mere entry-level Qi Refinement Realm cultivation was being eagerly fawned over by these god-like figures, who were desperate to establish a connection. What about the Qi Refinement Middle Stage, Late Stage, or Perfect Stage? Or even stepping into Foundation Establishment?
He had every right to disdain all living beings!
"Lord Qin, let’s be blunt. I wouldn’t dare put on airs before you. How did you know there was something wrong with my health?" Ye Congjun asked, having carefully considered his words.
How did I know? Am I supposed to tell you that nothing escapes my Eyes of Golden Flame?
Qin Fan met his question with a flippant smile. "Does it matter?" he asked casually.
"What a fucking show-off," Ye Haoyuan, standing behind Ye Jizu, muttered under his breath with a scowl the moment Qin Fan finished speaking.
But as soon as the words left his mouth, Ye Congjun, Ye Jizu, Ye Xuan, and Wang Lu all turned pale with shock. Before they could react, Qin Fan leisurely shook his head with a smile. "Ye Haoyuan of Qi Middle School, why don’t you tell me how I’m showing off?"
"Lord Qin! Lord Qin! This damned brat has always been spoiled, please pay him no mind!" Ye Congjun stammered in a panic before turning to Ye Jizu and roaring, "You worthless thing! Look at the fine son you’ve raised!"
"Lord Qin, please don’t be angry! Please, calm down!" Ye Jizu’s face turned deathly pale. The pain of his severed finger and crippled leg was still fresh, and in that short time, his fear of Qin Fan had been ingrained into his very bones. After his cry of alarm, he raised his hand and fiercely slapped Ye Haoyuan’s face. "Kneel before Lord Qin and apologize!" he bellowed, his own face flushed red.
His grandfather’s shout and his father’s slap left Ye Haoyuan’s mind momentarily blank before he quickly came to his senses. As a member of the Ye Family, how could his awareness be low? The sheer fury from the family’s supreme patriarch and his own imposing father told him one thing: his words had landed him in serious trouble. Even if he couldn’t bring himself to believe in Qin Fan’s transformation, his face, now swelling with a red five-fingered handprint, instantly turned pale. His grandfather and his father were actually groveling, calling a boy his own age "Lord Qin." This completely overturned his worldview.
"Kneel!" Ye Jizu bellowed again before Ye Haoyuan could even process his dazed thoughts. If not for his crippled leg, he would have kicked his son already.
"Alright, alright. I’m not going to get into it with him," Qin Fan said with a dismissive wave of his hand. "If he says I’m showing off, so be it. Heh... Now, spit it out. State your purpose and don’t waste my time."
Qin Fan held grudges—he held them dearly—but he wouldn’t pick a fight with Ye Haoyuan over a single comment. They had no history of conflict, though Qin Fan knew this was only because Ye Haoyuan had previously considered him beneath notice. Disdainful or not, the fact remained that there had been no prior grievance between them.
"Thank you, Lord Qin! Thank you!" Ye Jizu said, sighing with relief as if he’d received a pardon. Given the notoriously unpredictable tempers of Transformation Realm Grandmasters, he had been genuinely terrified that Qin Fan might fly into a rage.
"Lord Qin, I must ask, is there any way you can help me with my health problem?" Ye Congjun said, looking at Qin Fan with utmost sincerity, not daring to beat around the bush. "I know that if I let it go, my days are numbered. And I’m not ready to die yet!"
"Indeed. You have two months left at most," Qin Fan nodded with a chuckle. "There is a way to solve your problem, but why should I help you? What makes you think you’re worthy of my assistance?"
SWOOSH—
Upon hearing Qin Fan’s words, the entire family trembled, their eyes blazing with feverish excitement.
Unable to contain herself, Ye Xuan stepped forward, her gaze steady as she met Qin Fan’s. "Lord Qin, as long as you can save my grandfather, just name your price. We will meet any demand within our power. Even if it’s something we can’t do, we will find a way!"
"Would you be willing to sleep with me?" Qin Fan taunted her playfully with a wicked little smile.
"I would! If Lord Qin wouldn’t find me unworthy," Ye Xuan said, biting her lip, her expression unwavering. She herself didn’t know how she had managed to say that. It was most likely an extreme counter to the disdain he had shown her before.
Hearing this, both Ye Congjun’s and Ye Jizu’s eyebrows twitched, a flash of fervent excitement crossing the depths of their eyes. What would it mean if a teenage Transformation Realm Grandmaster became their grandson-in-law? At that moment, the silent Ye Congjun was ecstatic. However, they overlooked one crucial detail: Qin Fan had only mentioned sleeping with her, not marrying her.
"Forget it," Qin Fan shook his head with a mocking smile, not caring if his words would crush Ye Xuan. "To become my woman, even for a single night, you’re not qualified."
Does the Shura Venerable need to concern himself with the feelings of a woman who means nothing to him? What a joke!
"Holy shit, that’s badass!" Ye Haoyuan blurted out, stunned by the exchange.
Not every sixteen or seventeen-year-old boy is reborn with five centuries of life experience like Qin Fan. To someone as naive as Ye Haoyuan, rejecting his own cousin—a girl whose suitors could form an entire reinforced company—with such crushing words... that level of audacity was enough to inspire pure worship.
"Lord Qin, am I really that awful?" Having already been shot down once, Ye Xuan was no longer as flustered as before. Her gaze remained direct, her bright, beautiful eyes fixed on Qin Fan as she spoke again.
"To others, I don’t know, but to me, you’re not good enough. Enough of this nonsense," Qin Fan said, not interested in getting entangled in such pointless matters with Ye Xuan. "Let’s be direct. You want me to solve Old Ye’s problem? Fine. Get me what I need, and it won’t be a problem!"
"What is it?!" the four of them—everyone except for the still-confused Ye Haoyuan, who had no idea what was going on—exclaimed in unison, their eyes wide with anticipation.
