Chapter 13: 13, Titus Zane and Nathan Moore have too similar personalities, not suitable (Happy Mother's Day)
Hearing Ewan Zimmerman call herself "Madam Young Mistress," Titus Zane felt somewhat uncomfortable inside.
No matter the nature of her relationship with Nathan Moore, in public, she was Nathan Moore's "legally wedded" wife.
Although the relationship between them was disgustingly perverse, with two sisters serving one husband, everyone around Nathan Moore was well aware of it.
But on the surface, they would all politely address her as "younger sister-in-law" or "sister-in-law."
Yet now, Assistant Ewan actually referred to her as "Madam Young Mistress."
At home, it was tolerable if the housekeeper addressed her that way, but hearing it from Assistant Ewan, Titus Zane couldn't shake the feeling that the title was a reminder or even a deliberate mockery.
Titus Zane tightened her face with displeasure. As a woman known for her cool demeanor, once her expression turned serious, even her voice grew much colder.
"I just want to go for a walk by myself, I'm not going to run off. What's so hard for Assistant Ewan to explain?"
Ewan glanced at her through the rearview mirror, looking somewhat uneasy.
Because of the title he had just used.
Although his boss's preference was her sister, in public, the boss always referred to her as his wife.
That title was used just now in defense of the legitimate Madam Olivia Zane, who had been present at the wedding. If it weren't for this wicked woman, the legitimate Madam wouldn't be in a wheelchair, allowing her to throw her weight around outside.
"What? Is this little matter causing Assistant Ewan such difficulty? An executive assistant of a listed company, struggling with such a small task, really makes me question Assistant Ewan's working abilities on a daily basis."
Seeing that Ewan did not respond, Titus Zane couldn't help but sarcastically in a cold voice.
"It's not, Madam Young Mistress..."
Ewan glanced at Titus Zane through the rearview mirror, wanting to explain, but his words were cut off before he finished.
"Hmm?"
A single, slightly rising monosyllable, devoid of excessive words, conveyed a clear caution, and her frowning brows also lifted, providing a silent but palpable pressure.
Ewan licked his lips and showed an embarrassed look, and his tone became much more respectful.
"Sorry, Madam, your current condition is not suitable for going out in the wind."
"Is that your boss's opinion?"
Titus Zane raised her eyebrows again, looking at Ewan through the rearview mirror; she did not believe that Nathan Moore would be so concerned about her.
"It's not," Ewan glanced again in the rearview mirror, his expression a bit unnatural.
"It's my own opinion."
The boss had ordered him to take the Madam home; if she got off halfway, he wouldn't be able to report back after returning to the company.
Titus Zane glanced lightly through the rearview mirror again, not insisting any further, she wrapped her shawl around her shoulders and turned her face to look out the window.

Ewan secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
To be frank, he felt that the woman sitting behind him was really not suitable for their boss; the two of them have similar personalities, both cold, giving people a sense of oppression.
Madam Olivia Zane was much better, with a gentle and kind nature, perfectly complementing their boss.
At lunchtime, looking at the array of nourishing soups and broths in front of her, Titus Zane couldn't help but curl her lips in a cold sneer.
Were these prepared by Nathan Moore's instructions through the housekeeper for her?
Could it be because he slapped her and his conscience kicked in?
Hah, she didn't believe this cruel man still had a conscience; if he did, it was reserve for her sister, Olivia Zane.
Pushing the soup bowl in front of her away, Titus Zane had no interest in accepting an apology from a man without a heart.
"Take it away and dump it, I don't like it."
"Sis! Why are you acting like this!" protested Olivia Zane from the head of the table, sitting in her wheelchair and frowning disapprovingly.
It was always like this, whenever Nathan Moore wasn't dining at home, Olivia Zane would sit at the head of the table, as if constantly reminding everyone that she was the true mistress of the house.
