The Secret Scandal of the Wealthy Family: The CEO's Substitute Bride-Chapter 17 - . Olivia Zane said, "I can help you in other ways as well.
Chapter 17: 17. Olivia Zane said, "I can help you in other ways as well.
Nathan Moore closed his laptop, set it aside, and picked up Olivia Zane from her wheelchair, walking up the stairs.
The young nanny Chun Ya hurriedly followed, running ahead to open the bedroom door on the second floor.
Nathan Moore carried Olivia Zane into the bedroom, Chun Ya ran to the bed, flipping back the bedding in readiness for the master to lay the mistress down.
It's no wonder Titus Zane thought Nathan Moore was peculiar; Olivia Zane was, after all, the woman he loved most, his lawful wife, yet after their wedding, they slept in separate rooms, never sharing the same bed.
Nathan Moore placed Olivia Zane on the bed, his well-defined fingers skillfully unbuttoning her dress, while Chun Ya brought over the nightgown and laid it on the bed, completing her duties before leaving the room.
In the bedroom, only Nathan Moore and Olivia Zane were left.
Olivia Zane sat still on the bed, enjoying the man's meticulous care.
After helping Olivia change into her nightgown and having her lie down on the bed, Nathan Moore carefully tucked her in, kissed her forehead, and said, "Goodnight."
Just as he turned around, his wrist was gripped tightly; it was Olivia Zane holding on to his hand.
Turning his gaze, he met the hopeful eyes of the woman.
"Nathan," Olivia Zane said, her voice soft and meek, her delicate face showing a touch of pleading.
"Stay with me for the night."

Nathan Moore's eyes fell, his gaze landing on the wrist being held, his handsome face showing little change, his thick lashes hiding the emotions within his eyes.
He raised his other hand, placing it over Olivia's which was gripping his wrist, and gently brushed it off.
"Nathan?" Olivia Zane furrowed her brow, her expression hurt.
Nathan Moore turned back around, his thin lips curving into a gentle arc.
"Silly girl, I'm going back to my room to change clothes first."
Hearing Nathan say this, Olivia Zane was relieved, "Then hurry back."
"Okay." Nathan Moore hooked his lips into a smile and returned to his own bedroom to change clothes.
A few minutes later, Nathan Moore, now in his pajamas, returned to Olivia Zane's room.
Dark-colored pajamas of plain design, with a conventional little lapel, caused Olivia's gaze to dim slightly.
Previously, when he used to visit her sister's room, he would wear silk robes with a sash tied around his waist, revealing a slight portion of his chest and lower legs.
Nathan Moore lifted the covers and got into bed, saying "Goodnight," then conveniently turned off the bedside lamp.
Olivia Zane shifted her body slightly to cuddle up, clutching Nathan Moore's arm and looping it over her head to rest on it.
"Nathan," in the darkness, Olivia Zane tentatively called out.
"Hmm?" Nathan Moore lay flat on the bed, one arm pillowed by Olivia Zane, the other holding her hand.
"Actually," Olivia Zane licked her lips, hesitating, "we could try other ways."
"Hmm," Nathan Moore closed his eyes, responding faintly without much emotion.
Olivia Zane wasn't sure if he understood what she meant, and with determination, she decided to be more straightforward.
"I... could help you with my hand..."
"Be good, sleep now, it's late." Olivia Zane hadn't finished speaking before Nathan Moore interrupted her.
Even in the darkness, although she couldn't see his expression, Olivia Zane could still detect a hint of impatience.
"Nathan~" Olivia Zane feigned dissatisfaction, pouting, "What's wrong?"
Nathan Moore opened his eyes and slightly turned his handsome face to look at her.
"Why won't you let me help you, even though we can't do that, but I can still..." She bit her lip, hesitating again.
