The Strongest Beast Tamer With the Strongest System-Chapter 47: Who
The gate had opened, yet neither Levi nor William’s group rushed to enter.
William and the others did not dare to act before Levi, while the young man calmly descended toward the eagle’s corpse. With a swift motion, he dug out the Monster Core, a bright golden sphere radiating intense light.
The value of that core wasn’t in its level—but in the fact that it belonged to an S-Class monster.
Levi picked it up quickly and stored it away.
William and the others could only watch with bitter expressions.
Perhaps its price wasn’t as high as an S-Class weapon, but it was still valuable enough to make the four of them extremely wealthy.
Of course, they knew their limits. They had already realized they wouldn’t have been able to defeat the eagle without Levi’s help.
Even with everyone cooperating, the battle that began in the early afternoon had only ended at sunset.
When Levi rose back into the air, he didn’t ride Liam again. Instead, he stood on his flying boat, calmly looking at William’s group as if they posed no threat to him at all.
"Let’s enter together," Levi said casually. "That way you can see the rewards yourselves."
They moved toward the gate together.
Meanwhile, Leonardo remained where he was.
Liam walked over to him while Leonardo continued watching them.
To be honest, he was a little nervous.
He was nervous about how they would react.
For a moment, he even felt the urge to leave right now so he wouldn’t have to see their reaction. But if he did that, they would practically accuse him immediately.
"Boss, did Sister Ellie just come here?" Liam suddenly asked.
"Don’t talk about it!" Leonardo replied instantly, lightly tapping Liam’s head.
"Damn it! Who did this?!" Levi suddenly burst out of the gate, shouting furiously.
His usually calm expression was now filled with anger.
William and the others came out behind him, looking confused.
Leonardo also walked over with a puzzled expression, pretending he didn’t know anything.
"Was it you?" Levi suddenly turned toward William’s group.
"Harvey, we don’t know anything either. How could we have tricks like that? If we could do something like that, we wouldn’t have needed to fight in the first place," William replied.
"Then who else could it be? There’s no one here except you," Levi said angrily.
William and the others instinctively turned their gaze toward Leonardo.
Levi followed their eyes and looked at him as well.
But it was only a natural reaction—Leonardo was the only other person present.
Still, it was hard to suspect him when they had clearly seen him standing there the entire time, buffing his wolf.
"Wait... recently I heard a rumor about someone on Floor 1 who can teleport and even teleport objects without touching them," Lucy suddenly said.
"What? Someone like that exists?" Sergio asked in shock.
"It’s just a rumor. Unfortunately, there’s no real information about that person," Lucy replied.
"You think that person might be responsible?" Levi asked.
"It’s just speculation. I can’t imagine how someone could do that without being detected."
"Whoever it was, someone definitely took the items. There’s no way a gate guarded by an S-Class monster would be empty."
"What happened?" Leonardo asked as he approached them.
His face showed nothing but confusion.
"The rewards are gone," William replied.
"Can you show us the contents of your ring?" Levi suddenly asked Leonardo.
"Are you suspecting me?" Leonardo asked.
"What I mean is, all of us should show our rings. Of course, I’ll show mine as well," Levi said.
"Well... fine," Leonardo replied, pretending to be reluctant.
"Here."
He showed two rings, handing one of them to Levi since it belonged to him anyway.
As for his own ring, he kept it on his hand but allowed Levi and the others to look inside.
Since he had already sent his most valuable item—the S-Class dagger—to Ellie earlier, the most valuable thing left inside the ring was the Fire Magic Wand he had just obtained.
The rest were only ordinary monster cores and everyday items.
Levi quickly shifted his attention to the others.
Soon, they began checking each other’s rings.
Leonardo had no interest in their investigation.
He simply watched their foolish actions while continuing to act innocent.
To steady his mind, he distributed the 11 Evolution Points he had just received.

For now, he wouldn’t increase Strength any further, since the Aethercore Fruit would boost it once it matured.
"Damn it!" Levi suddenly cursed before leaving with an extremely foul mood.
Trying to find the thief?
That was practically impossible—and that was exactly why he was so furious.
William’s group looked calmer, but it was obvious their spirits had been crushed.
Leonardo didn’t say anything to them.
He simply left with Liam.
Night had already fallen, but Leonardo wanted to gain another level. He wasn’t far from it.
At night, the moon appeared just as large as the sun.
Its light was so bright that Liam could clearly see several kilometers ahead.
They flew above the sandstorm, which had remained calm until now.
Yet in the depths of the storm below, Leonardo saw many enormous eyes staring upward.
Monster eyes.
Watching.
The most shocking pair was as large as car wheels, glowing with a bright yellow color.
Leonardo wondered what kind of monster possessed such enormous eyes.
What worried him most was the possibility that this creature’s level was far too high—perhaps that was why its eyes were so massive.
Just as he was about to avoid it—
A huge boulder, even larger than a sedan, suddenly shot toward him from the direction of those eyes at terrifying speed.
Leonardo doubted Liam would be able to dodge it.
He stared sharply at the incoming boulder.
Then he activated his teleportation skill, instantly teleporting the boulder away to another direction.
With his current attributes far higher than before, this kind of action was no longer difficult for him.
