The Strongest Beast Tamer With the Strongest System-Chapter 59: Armored Figure
"Leonardo, I deliberately got drunk to please you. Yet you left me there to deal with a bunch of random men hitting on me."
She stared at him sharply, clearly displeased.
"I didn’t know you had such good intentions. I thought you were just trying to trouble me," Leonardo replied.
"That’s why you should get rid of your prejudice against me."
"That’s not easy. I was once your victim. But I’m still human—I have a conscience. It might disappear if you keep doing good things for me. Of course, that doesn’t include... this kind of ’entertainment.’"
After saying that, Leonardo stood up, making Margaret blink in confusion.
Just as she thought he was about to jump on her again, Leonardo instead walked toward the stairs.
"Go back. I don’t want my sleep disturbed—especially since you’re still on your period," he said.
Once inside his room, Leonardo locked the door with every lock available.
He was worried she might come in—because he wasn’t sure he could restrain himself again.
Of course, he didn’t go to sleep immediately.
He first applied a buff to the White Element Peacock egg, pushing it closer to hatching.
The night passed quietly.
Leonardo could only feel a bit disappointed—neither Liam nor Ellie had leveled up.
Liam had tried, but there were fewer monsters at night, and even those he killed gave little EXP.
(Ellie, how did it go?)
Leonardo asked as soon as he woke up.
(Boss, I’ve found the location...) Ellie replied.
(What is it like?)
(A pyramid hidden inside the crater of a dormant volcano. It’s an incredible place. But it doesn’t look easy to excavate—even with a large number of monsters.)
(I see... By the way, do you know who that person is? What do they look like?)
(Boss, they’re wearing black armor that blends into the night. But I’m certain of one thing—they’re below Level 20, since that volcano restricts higher-level entries.)
(Got it... Leave it for now. You and Liam focus on leveling today.)
(Yes.)
It was Sunday—no school, no work.
Most Awakener would choose to rest on a day like this.
But Leonardo had no intention of resting.
He had things to do.
After showering and changing clothes, he stepped out of his room.
Clang!
The sound of metal hitting something echoed from the kitchen.
When he went downstairs, he saw Margaret cooking, stirring something in a pan.
She hadn’t showered yet—still wearing her pajamas, with an apron over them.
Leonardo walked over and saw a pile of rice in the pan.
Margaret added soy sauce, tomato sauce, and salt before stirring it faster.
"Are you still on your period?" Leonardo asked, wrapping his arms around her from behind, brushing her blonde hair aside to expose her neck.
Her skin was pale and smooth, the faint lines of her veins visible beneath.
He couldn’t resist leaning in.
His lips pressed against her neck, drawing a shiver through her entire body.
"At least wait until I finish cooking. I’ll accompany you however you want—even until tomorrow... but unfortunately, I’m still on my period..." she said, her breath uneven.
Leonardo didn’t stop immediately—but he restrained himself.
"I didn’t expect you to be good at cooking," he said.
Even though he stopped, he still held her from behind. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"That’s not something you can imagine. I have many skills. Cooking breakfast myself is just one of my habits," Margaret replied.
"From the smell alone, this seems really good," Leonardo said.
"Go sit at the table. I’ll finish faster, and you can eat sooner."
"Well, alright..."
Leonardo went to the dining table.
Margaret had already prepared a cup of warm coffee there.
"This doesn’t contain anything dangerous, right?" he said, hesitating before drinking.
"Come on. There’s no benefit for me if you die. I still want to know what changed you so much."
"I can only say—it’s not something that can be stolen, so there’s no point knowing."
Leonardo drank the coffee after confirming nothing was off.
He was strong enough to detect anything unusual.
Margaret said nothing more.
She took two plates and transferred the rice from the pan.
Earlier, she had already prepared fried eggs to go with it.
"This is called fried rice, a Southeast Asian dish. Try it," she said, placing a plate in front of him while taking a bite herself first—clearly showing it was safe.
Leonardo tasted it.
It was delicious—far more satisfying than he expected.
"What are your plans today?" Margaret asked.
"Some secret activities, of course," Leonardo replied casually while continuing to eat.
"By the way, do you know anyone in this city who wears black armor but hasn’t reached Level 20 yet?" he asked.
"Oh..." Margaret’s expression turned serious.
"What are you investigating, Leonardo?" she asked softly.
"A ruin. The missing monsters at night in Layer 17."
"I thought so..."
"So you know who it is?"
"No. I don’t know at all. I just happened to compete with that person once."
"Did you lose?"
"That’s impossible. He ran away in disgrace. I’ve never lost a direct fight. Well... maybe because I had dozens of subordinates helping me."
"..."
"You really are exceptional at bullying others," Leonardo mocked lightly as he finished his meal.
Before leaving, he moved closer again.
He pulled her toward the living room and guided her onto the larger sofa, holding her as he kissed her lips once more.
Margaret responded calmly this time, wrapping her arms around his neck as she sat on his lap.
The kiss grew more intense than before.
Then she pulled back slightly, looking at him.
"Do you want to show me what I’m sitting on right now?" she asked.
"And what would you do if I did?" Leonardo replied.
"I don’t know... but is it wrong to want to see your boyfriend’s? Who wouldn’t be curious about that when they’re in a relationship?" Margaret replied.
"I don’t want it if it’s just for looking," Leonardo said.
"Don’t worry, I’ll help you with my hands. It’ll definitely feel better than your own rough hands."
"No!" Leonardo ultimately refused, but then he pressed her down onto the sofa and kissed her again.
The pleasure brought by her beauty was no exaggeration.
It was intoxicating—clouding both the mind and the soul.
