The System Sent Me to Breed an All-Female Amazon Tribe-Chapter 236: Two of the First Five Demigods and Were-Lions
The, uh... D’Lion Tripleone(?) looked at the Eldest Born and chuckled deeply, the sound rolling out from his broad chest like low thunder while his yellow lion eyes gleamed with quiet amusement.
One of his large hands still rested casually on his chin as his muscular shoulders shifted with the laugh.
"Brother, you understand the quest clearly, yes?" the words carried a calm but commanding tone as the speaker tilted his head slightly.
Leodog’s, the other beastkin, pointed ears rose a fraction higher while his blonde furred body shifted with quiet confidence.
He nodded slowly, his croaky voice replying with a measured rumble, "He seems to hate his own children. Just look at them like squirming maggots writhing on the ground, one could hardly blame him for feeling that way."
As he spoke, his red eyes narrowed slightly and his straight pointing dog ears twitched once toward the distant battlefield...
Wait, who’s children now? you wanna go?
They’re not MY children, you muscle brains!
"I shall take on the woman and the ones near her. You should clear the area of the smaller ones."
D’Lion Tripleone’s incredibly deep voice rumbled and vibrated the area as he spoke, his big muscles flexing visibly beneath the majestic animal-furred dress that draped over his large frame.
His yellow lion eyes were focused sharply while one clawed hand rested casually on his broad chest where the red lion head tattoo was exposed.
Leodog squinted as his partner said that, his pointed ears folding back slightly and his spotted black-on-blonde fur rippling along his shoulders.
"What do you mean, brother? I shall take on the woman, and you should support me by clearing the lesser children." His baggy lower garment shifted as he took a small step forward, his fangs peeking visibly as his muzzle tightened.
Uh-oh. Their bloodlust is like an eerie, choking gas.
I realized it wanted to turn into something troublesome, so I raised a hand steadily, my fingers spreading slightly in a clear stopping gesture.
"C’mon! Just kill anyone you find there. It’s an all out battle." My voice came out firm, cutting through the growing tension between them.
Then they nodded...
Actually, D’Lion just huffed deeply, his broad chest expanding with the sound while his lion eyes narrowed in clear irritation and his big claws flexed once against his tattooed skin.
Sigh. He must be a stubborn one, and arrogant too.
I guess we’ll know if his arrogance is worth it from his power once the fighting truly begins.
As far as I understand, I can see that they are both far stronger than I am... But I feel like they’re likewise far below me somewhat. I can’t exactly explain it properly, but...
Their bloodlust and aura doesn’t scare me, and their magic power isn’t up to even half of mine; at least the one they are letting me see.
You know, when it comes to magic power, things are extremly vague to me.
The only person I’ve seen with so much absurd magic, so far, is Tania.
"Ahaha!" Tera giggled lightly, her small frame leaning forward slightly as her shoulders shook with soft amusement, "So you brothers still fight like children? It certainly is a sight for sore eyes after so long."
Oh? It’s a pleasant surprise to see the emotionless twin laugh like this. A rare moment, in fact.
"Take note, if you must serve our husband," Tesa spoke calmly, her head tilting just a little while her slender fingers remained lightly curled around my arm, "make sure to do a great job, am I clear?"
Her voice stayed even, but her small mouth curved into a faint, knowing smile.
Eh? Tera and Tesa sounded like they knew these summons.
And who’s a husband here?!
"Oh my, if it isn’t Lady Tera and Lady Tesa," Leodog bent at the waist and bowed before them with deliberate grace, his pointed ears lowering respectfully while his blonde spotted fur shifted smoothly along his back, "The Superior Spirits of Storm and Darkness, it is a pleasure to see you again. I see you are in the company of this great man."
His croaky voice carried clear reverence as he straightened slowly.
G-Great man?! Me?
Shucks, maybe I am great, I don’t know. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Flattery won’t get you any more magic power than I can give!
Ehehe.
"For him to be able to control even these two wild sisters, he truly is great." D’Lion raised a brow slowly, his yellow predatory eyes narrowing in appraisal while his big muscles flexed under the majestic animal-furred dress and his clawed hand lowered from his chin, "I shall henceforth allow you to call me by my name then."
His deep voice rumbled once more as his large body shifted with discreet authority.
Huh? Was I the master here, or was he? It’s beginning to blur out.
When I asked the twins where they knew these guys from, they said:
"Those beastkin are part of the first five demigods and were-lions created when life just started sprouting in Elyndor," Tesa explained, her head turning slightly toward me while her small hands gave my arm a gentle squeeze.
"Unfortunately, they lost their lives in the 5th Celestial war, along with all the other were-lion Demigods... Except for their eldest brother, Leorin. But even he died some millennia ago, so no were-lion Demigod exist currently," Tera added, her shoulders rising and falling in a small sigh as she glanced at the two newcomers again, "These ones seem to be a projection of their former glory or something. I wonder where they came from."
Huh? Did I just hear Leorin’s name there?
Whatever, whether heaven or hell, I don’t really care! Let them war for me while I sit back and watch.
It’s not lethargy when I’m feeding them my magic power.
And the climax of the battle finally reached.
Leodog and D’Lion had levitated majestically, arms folded across their chests as they hovered over the plain filled with titans, their bodies rising smoothly into the air while Leodog’s pointed ears twitched toward the enemy and D’Lion’s lion eyes scanned the battlefield with focused intensity.
D’Lion soon yawned widely, rubbing his eyes lazily with the back of one large clawed hand while his broad chest expanded with the breath, "So... Let us begin. I wish to slumber for about fifty years after this."
