Chapter 38: Chapter 38: Hands-On (1)
Why treat me like this?
Mia Ginger had this question circulating on her lips for a while but couldn’t bring herself to ask it. She held onto the seat belt and quieted down.
Koa Jackson drove very steadily, with a moderate speed, giving a sense of security.
At a quarter past ten, they arrived at the city center.
Shining International.
Koa Jackson parked the car in the basement parking lot and led her up to the third floor via elevator.
The third floor was mainly domestic and international women’s fashion brands. It was just the start of the workday, making the whole floor clean and spacious, with occasional sweet soft voices of sales associates ringing out.
Mia Ginger glanced around hesitantly and asked, "Buying clothes for me?"
"Yeah."
Koa responded, then strode toward a nearby store.
Mia Ginger hurried to catch up, looking up and said, "No need, I have clothes to wear."
Koa Jackson stopped to give her a glance, his eyes landed on her dress which was about seventy percent new, paused for two seconds without speaking, and continued walking with his long strides.
Mia Ginger rubbed her forehead gloomily and followed along.
"Hello, welcome," the sales associate greeted the first customer with remarkable enthusiasm, then upon seeing Mia Ginger following in, smiled and said, "Choosing clothes for this lady?"
"Yes." Koa Jackson replied with indifferent expression.
Mia Ginger casually glanced at a price tag.
yuan?
A chiffon short sleeve!
The price was somewhat beyond her expectation.
"This one," Koa Jackson clearly didn’t think much about it, his gaze swept across the clothes, signaled to the sales associate, "and this one, this white one, this black one, the beige skirt..."
After circling around, he looked at her and instructed, "Get them all in size M for her to try."
The sales associate had six or seven pieces in hand.
Mia Ginger was dumbstruck for a moment.
The other sales associate in the store also greeted warmly, leading her to the fitting room while saying, "Miss, you are truly fortunate, your brother treats you very well."
Brother...
Mia Ginger turned her head, seeing Koa Jackson had already sat on the sofa sipping tea.
His appearance was distinguished and refined, with an exceptional demeanor. Without speaking, he appeared particularly aloof, sitting upright with an air of strangers keep away, yet still very attractive.
The well-trained sales associate couldn’t help but glance a couple more times.
Koa Jackson set down the teacup.
"How is it?" Mia Ginger approached him.
She wore a two-piece long dress.
Inside was a large round-necked black and white striped tank dress that extended to her ankles, paired with a slightly loose black short-sleeve shirt featuring a cute and clumsy-looking tiger head on the front.
Playful yet fresh, complementing her skin’s white jade-like glow.
"Yeah, change to the next one." Koa Jackson nodded.
Didn’t say good or bad.
Mia Ginger followed the sales associate back inside, changing into the second piece, a white chiffon dress.
The dress was a one-shoulder style, highlighting her elegant clavicle, with a fitted waist, and a soft skirt that reached the knees, cool to the touch.
The dress had only one adornment on the shoulder, where there were two white silk flowers.
Light and exquisite, like butterflies perched on her shoulder.
Mia Ginger rarely wore such light and flowing chiffon dresses, standing a bit uneasily in front of him, pursing her lips without speaking, allowing him to observe.
Koa Jackson actually only glanced twice quickly before saying, "Next one."
He appeared indifferent, and the experienced sales associate couldn’t definitively know whether he was satisfied, picked up a pair of light-colored jeans, paired Mia Ginger with a light blue thin shirt selected by Koa Jackson.
