The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1414: Nathalie Quinlan Is Not Surprised at All
"It’s too late."
Nathalie Quinlan heard the cheers outside as the event was about to start. She rubbed her temples, remaining quite composed.
"The competition is about to begin."
Leo Dunn raised his wrist to check his watch. He hadn’t been anxious before, but now he was: "What, what do we do now?"
He was unable to think of someone suspicious immediately: "Should I go ask around elsewhere and see if anyone saw who entered the lounge?"
Nathalie Quinlan tugged at her hat brim again, feeling a bit irritated. Today she had a small chapped area on her lips, slightly red and swollen, so she kept her hat extra low, basically only exposing a snow-white chin to avoid drawing attention to her reddened lips.
Yet, her aura was as consistent as ever.
Wild and restrained like a bandit. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
Utterly arrogant!
Also with a laid-back attitude.
It’s all just a game!
"Mr. Dunn, there’s no need to go through so much trouble." Her right hand was still in a cast, and now the hard drive was missing; not knowing who went into the lounge.
Leo Dunn felt there could be no worse situation than this!
"....."
He didn’t understand why Nathalie Quinlan wasn’t at all anxious.
Nathalie Quinlan: "They’re tampering with my things just to see me lose the competition. You and Mr. Wafford should go to the security room to keep the surveillance footage."
"Definitely. You didn’t even need to say it; I would have found the surveillance footage myself." Leo Dunn spoke in a low voice, fast and nervous: "But the competition..."
"Ha." Nathalie Quinlan chuckled softly, raised her head slightly, revealing her exquisite oval face. Her gaze was bold and shining; without absolute confidence, one wouldn’t have such a sharp look. She casually packed everything back into the bag, her slender fingers resting on the zipper of her single shoulder bag, speaking with a rather frivolous tone: "I got this competition here; you don’t need to worry."
Leo Dunn: "....." The hard drive is missing; how could he not worry?
The opening ceremony was almost over outside. Leo Dunn heard the host calling for participants to come on stage.
He realized the situation was urgent, leaving him no choice but to place his faith in the girl before him.
Determined, he said: "Alright, I’ll go find the principal to come forward and get the surveillance footage now."
"You hold on the stage for a bit; I’ll find the hard drive as quickly as possible."
The outside continued urging.
Nathalie Quinlan raised her eyelids, glanced outside, then turned back with apparent confidence, saying to him: "Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing."

The weather is good in McKinney today. This software competition is the first of such high rank here, making the tickets exceedingly hard to come by.
The stands were packed with people.
A breeze brought refreshing coolness, dispelling the summer heat. The weather was very pleasant, at least not as scorching as in Beijing.
Ghania Quinlan and Zayn Fisher were seated around the ninth row. These tickets were hard to obtain, and the ninth row was already considered a relatively forward position.
Amadeus Yancey and Sadam Vinson were seated backstage in positions within the first three rows, which were not sold to the public.
This spot offered a clearer view.
Besides, the backstage area was more spacious compared to the seats Zayn Fisher and the others managed to get, avoiding the need to squeeze amidst others.
Govert Griffin had bought water ahead of time and was attentively distributing a bottle to everyone.
When he handed one to Amadeus Yancey, he did so respectfully: "Amadeus, your water."
Amadeus Yancey didn’t take it. Someone seemed to have sent him a message. He stood up from his seat and, in a low voice, spoke to Sadam Vinson and the others: "Someone snuck into the lounge and stole Nathalie Quinlan’s belongings."
