The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 345: Antique Vase
Naomi Kenway and Ian Shaw finished breakfast at seven. There was still some time before Ian had to leave for school, so he went upstairs while Naomi sat in the living room for a bit.
She glanced at the clock. The production team had said they would arrive at seven to start filming, but there was still no word from them.
Curious, Naomi Kenway asked the butler what was going on.
The butler said, "I just received word, Ma’am. The production team arrived at the estate three minutes ago, but it takes some time to walk here from the main gate. If you’re in a hurry, I can go and check on them."
"That won’t be necessary," Naomi Kenway said. "I was just a little curious. I’m not in a hurry."

"Where’s Aaron? Why isn’t he back yet?" the assistant director in charge of filming asked with a frown. The crew had entered the estate together, but not long after, Aaron had to use the restroom. The assistant director decided the team would wait in place and shoot some B-roll. But five minutes had passed, and Aaron was still nowhere to be seen.
[I’m blown away every time I see this. What kind of family is this? An estate this huge, and in Veridia where every inch of land is worth a fortune. This has to be worth hundreds of millions, right?]
[Be more confident and add another zero. The production team’s whole drive in was through prime commercial areas. How could a property this massive be cheap?]
[No joke, this place is bigger than my college campus three times over.]
[So where on earth did that cameraman run off to? It’s been ages and he’s still not back?]
[Director, stop waiting and let’s move on. As amazing as this fountain is, I’m getting sick of looking at it. Go further in! This humble viewer wants to see the other buildings.]
"Director, the viewers in the livestream are getting antsy. Why don’t we get going? Aaron can catch up with us later."
The assistant director glanced around, then nodded hesitantly. "Send Aaron a message." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
After giving the order, the assistant director led the crew forward in their vehicle.
The deeper they went, the more breathtaking it became. The magnificent and stately European-style manor gradually came into view. Intricate patterns were carved into pillars of white marble, and a massive fountain stood in the center. A faint, sweet fragrance hung in the air, its floral source impossible to pinpoint.
A few minutes later, the assistant director and the other cameramen got out of their vehicle and entered the main hall, where they finally saw Naomi Kenway.
Naomi Kenway raised an eyebrow when she saw them, then walked over to shake the assistant director’s hand. "Welcome."
The assistant director nodded repeatedly, his eyes involuntarily darting around the room. The interior was just as opulent as the exterior. Even with the lights off, the priceless crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling was dazzling.
He tore his gaze away and swallowed silently. This was his first time in charge of a shoot at Naomi Kenway’s home, and the shock he’d felt since arriving was overwhelming.
A sharp clattering sound rang out, followed by a cameraman’s gasp. His backpack had accidentally bumped into a rosewood shelf, which was filled with a collection of vases and other similar items. Fortunately, the cameraman reacted quickly and steadied the shelf. His heart hammered in his chest, and he broke out in a cold sweat.
The assistant director’s heart nearly leaped out of his chest, especially when he recognized many of the pieces as priceless porcelain from The Valerian Dynasty.
"Be careful! What’s wrong with you? Why are you being so clumsy?!"
The cameraman looked stunned. "I... I was trying to get a shot of the mural over there," he stammered. "I didn’t realize my backpack..." Tears of panic welled in his eyes. "I’m so sorry..."
Naomi Kenway said, "As long as no one’s hurt, it’s fine."
The assistant director turned to her, his expression deeply apologetic. "I’m terribly sorry. But isn’t it a bit risky to keep such precious porcelain out in the open?"
"The ones we display out here aren’t the particularly valuable ones," Naomi Kenway said.
’The most valuable pieces are all in the underground storage room.’
