The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 126: Not So Soon~
Gosh, why was this compact place turning hotter as the minutes passed?
How much has it been ever since this steamy scene started?! Abigail looked at the scene and wanted to cry. The couple on the screen wasn’t even half done!
Finally, when the guy separated from her lips and finally went downstairs toward the woman’s chest, Abigail clicked the shut-off button and said loudly, "Okay, okay! I’m affected! Just shut it off! I don’t want to watch it anymore!"
"Gave up so easily?" Asher finally chuckled and leaned closer to her, but not close enough to make the woman uncomfortable. "And here I thought you would never admit defeat."
Abigail was about to speak once again when a red light beside Asher blared, indicating that food was here. She relaxed as she instantly said, "I’m hungry!"
Asher didn’t continue to tease her anymore since he knew he didn’t want to do anything extra. Thus, he obediently opened the space beneath from where food could be taken inside.
Abigail released the breath she was holding. Even though her cheeks were still hot and red, she was relieved to see that this person wasn’t teasing her anymore.
Damn, she didn’t know she was so easily teased! Abigail’s eyes turned firm as she pursed her lips.
Fine, if these guys didn’t want to leave her, she would just go with the flow. Let’s throw away the plan to be indifferent to the two of them and focus on her recovery from bipolar disorder.
Of course, now that she was taking medicines, she was sure that she wasn’t far from recovering. Back when she was still attending her doctor’s sessions regularly and not making excuses to avoid him every day, she was clearly healing. Thus, it instead made her situation worse, making her bipolar return.
So despite those newfound crushes around her, Abigail wouldn’t take her health for granted. If she matured enough from her mental sickness, she would be able to make better choices.
Thus, when the food finally arrived, she took the spoon and was about to drink the soup first when a spoonful of hot soup was pushed in front of her lips. She automatically opened her mouth and sipped in that soup.
But when she realized what she just did, she shut her mouth and glared at Asher, who had a smirk on his face. "Wasn’t that delicious?"
"It was!" Abigail didn’t know why she was acting like this even after deciding to go with the flow.
Did she make it her habit of refusing these guys at every step?
She shook her head and said, "Thank you, but I’d like to eat my own."
"But I want to feed you" Asher pulled up another spoonful of soup and fed her. "Good girl."
"...."
Abigail took a deep breath and turned toward him. "Do you think I’m a kid?"
Asher was a little stunned. "No? You’re a very beautiful woman."
"Oh?" Abigail suppressed the traces of anger to the depths of her heart and said, "Let me tell you, Mr. Harrison." She pointed her finger at his face. "These romantic gestures are good when you aren’t married. At first, it feels so good that you rise to the ninth cloud just like that, but when you actually get married, you’d be surprised by how fast the men change their hearts.
"Listen to how cheesy you actually sound!" Abigail vented everything, speaking her thoughts one after another, which was the actual truth. "Did you really think I’d be attracted to your romantic and cheesy words just like that?! Please, I’m a mature and practical woman. I like men who can actually do something and express their love through actions!"
That’s why she liked Nicholas more!
Asher heard those words and wasn’t surprised at her outburst. He had indeed gone overboard today, but how could he not? He was seeing the woman he loved every single day, every single second. How could he not feel the urgency to get close to her?
Thus, today happened.
Asher coughed and said, "I’m sorry."
Huh? So easy?
Abigail blinked and looked at him in confusion. All the built-up anger faded away from her heart as quickly as it came, making her feel stunned and shocked. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
She had thought the man would feel sad or depressed, or perhaps he would try to refute her at all costs. But contrary to her expectations, he agreed with her words immediately!
Abigail stared at him with narrowed eyes and finally turned toward her food on the small table. "Let’s eat. I don’t want to waste your efforts."
"En."
Seeing Asher turning obedient all of a sudden, Abigail relaxed. She continued eating her food silently the entire time, not even sparing a single glance at the man. Of course, even Asher didn’t bother her anymore, continuing to pretend to be normal and that nothing happened.
After eating, Abigail finally wiped her hands and said, "Now, we should get out of here and-"
"Not so soon." Asher smirked and said, "How about we have a little fun?"
"Fun?" Abigail didn’t know what he was on about. She didn’t think after scolding him, he would continue to make trouble with her anymore, but still, she was as vigilant as ever.
"Let’s play a fair game, shall we?" Asher laid down the rules. "There’s a game of chess here on the screen."
Abigail glanced at the screen. She knew how to play chess. Not to say she excelled, but she was indeed a good player. A lot of staff members back in the asylum had already suffered terribly several times.
Only a handful of people including some intelligent patients and her own doctor managed to win against her. Yes, she played chess with him and suffered terribly so much that she couldn’t face him anymore without getting embarrassed.
How could she not feel embarrassed? After defeating several people together, she had dared to boast in front of the man so much that she even promised to swipe the floor of the entire corridor of her room if she lost.
And she did.
She had to spend her entire free time wiping the corridor floor that day! She was so angry that she broke a few brooms by the time she finished her work.
Never again.
She would never play chess ever again with anyone, especially confident and dreamy men!
She cleared her throat and said, "I don’t know how to play chess."
In any case, Asher would never know whether or not she could play or not. It wasn’t like Silas had actually appeared in this world along with her. So she could lie however she wanted.
"Oh?" Asher chuckled and leaned over, still smiling, "Why do I feel like you want to back away in fear?"
