Chapter 151: She Saw Me!

The first scene that Abigail had to play was already explained. She hadn’t become a villain yet and was still the same Lily who would become timid and shy at the slightest thing. Abigail knew how she had to act very well.

Wasn’t it similar to Arthur? He was also the same in the beginning of the novel, and he changed for good later on after meeting Chris and going through several ups and downs. Thus, she wasn’t worried about it.

But....

She glanced at Owen and cursed at her fate once again. Why did this have to happen to her, ah?! Even Asher couldn’t do anything about it.

Of course, not that she would ever speak about it to the man. If she did, Asher would end up becoming even more colder and angrier. Who knows, he might even refuse to let her work in this movie anymore.

Abigail didn’t want that. Thus, she took a deep breath and finally threw her phone on the table with a loud thump, gaining everyone’s attention, even Owen’s.

Oops. This wasn’t what she wanted. Abigail cleared her throat and said, "I have to go to the washroom."

After that, she bolted away from there before anyone could speak a single word. She needed to freshen up and pour water on her face before she could start working. Maybe that would calm her down.

At the very least, she was very glad that she was wearing that face mask. Thus, her blushing face wouldn’t appear in front of other people’s eyes.

When she went inside, she deliberately locked the door and pulled down her facemask, putting it in her bag. Then she went over to the sink and started washing her face.

What she didn’t know was that Rebecca, the female lead, was already inside. She was surprised to see someone standing there and washing her face. Upon looking closely, a familiar face appeared there, making the woman even more surprised.

Abigail actually pulled down her facemask without even care?

Rebecca sneered and walked over with a professional smile on her face. "Olivia.... You..."

"Oh my God!" Abigail accidentally threw a handful of water on the ground that splattered onto her feet. She put her hand on her face with widened eyes. "You saw nothing. Please, repeat after me!" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"Uh?" Rebecca raised her eyebrows as a glint of darkness flashed across her eyes. "Why should I listen to you?"

"What....?" Abigail had thought that this woman was her friend. What happened? Wasn’t Rebecca supposed to listen to her like before?

Rebecca chuckled as she finally showed her true self in front of the woman. "Dear Abigail, you have no idea what you have done to me, have you?"

"What...?" Was this Rebecca someone who had bad blood with the original Abigail? All of a sudden, she felt terrified as a thought appeared in her mind. her entire face paled. "You.... You aren’t that killer, are you?"

"What do you think?" Rebecca’s smile vanished without a trace as she continued to stare at the young woman standing not far from her. She sneered and walked closer, putting her index finger, especially those sharp nails against Abigail’s cheek, saying, "You’re too gullible and naive. Did you really think I was your friend? So naive and innocent. How did you end up making my life so hellish?"

Abigail finally started trembling as she looked into the woman’s eyes as she swallowed. Fear finally appeared deep into her eyes as she forced herself to speak, "You... What do you want?"

"I’ll tell you later what I want." Rebecca patted the woman’s cheeks as her eyes flashed with utter traces of coldness. "For now, be a good girl, and don’t tell a single person about our conversation."

She would! Who was this young woman to stop her from speaking out loud?! Abigail glared at the woman and said, "I... I’ll call the police!"

"Oh? Sure." Rebecca chuckled and said, "You can do that, but remember one thing, if something happens to me, your dear husband and your dear boyfriend won’t be alive either."

Abigail’s face paled once again as she felt her hands trembling. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Why are you doing this to me...?"

"Ah? I said already, I’ll tell you later."

After saying those words, Abigail saw the woman opening the door. Then she turned around and said, "Wear that facemask. You wouldn’t want to show your truth to the entire world, will you? It will really be a big event. Imagine tomorrow’s headlines: Mrs. Harrison actually hid her identity to become Asher’s girlfriend."

Rebecca walked out without even turning back.

Abigail trembled as her entire body fell to the ground. She pulled out her facemask and wore it on her face shakingly. Of course, she had wiped her face already before putting it on. Otherwise, the mask would end up being thrown into the dustbin after getting torn in the wet places.

It took Abigail a few moments before she came back to herself.

At the very least, she finally knew who the killer actually was! She didn’t have to keep searching for that person anymore.

But the bad news was that she had to hide it from Asher and Nicholas.

Wait a minute...

Why did she have to hide it from them? It wasn’t like Rebecca would be able to tell whether or not she opened her mouth, right?

Thus, she instantly pulled out her phone and texted Nicholas.

"Husband... Don’t panic. I know who the killer is. It’s Rebecca, the female lead. She just admitted it to my face. What should I do?"

Then, she texted the same thing to Asher hoping to get some help from the man, of course, after removing the ’husband’ part.

After she was done, her shoulders finally felt a little relaxed as she took a deep breath and stood up. Even though her hands were trembling, she was utterly calm from the inside. Then she deleted the messages to remove the evidence that she actually told them about the killer’s truth.

Now that she found out who the killer was, let’s see whether that killer could succeed in her attempt at getting back at her!
