Alix was curious as well. If the doctor was truly there for Caishen, what was wrong with him?

Just as grandma Zhang was worried about her old Zhang, Alix too was worried about about her hubby Zhang.

It was a good thing that she had the means to do as she pleased with a system in hand.

"System, five points, I want to listen to the conversation in the study."

"Five points deducted." It said.

Alix was playing with Xiaobo, Majesty and Baby on a large baby mat so attentively that no one would think she was casually eavesdropping on the men.

In the study, the doctor was looking at all three men wondering who his patient would be on this day.

"Doctor Jiayun, thank you for coming so fast." Zhang Bo said.

"Please check on our grandfather." Caishen added before the doctor would think about exchanging greetings.

"What happened?" The doctor asked.

He went around behind the desk and started taking his gadgets out. First, he attached a pressure monitor and another one for the heart.

"He was shaking, his face was pale and he clutched his chest as if he was having a heartattack." Zhang Bo explained.

"And his breath was short too." Caishen contributed to the symptoms Zhang Bo had mentioned.

Alix sighed in relief. Caishen was fine, there was no hidden illness manifesting itself suddenly. But he sounded very scared for his grandfather. Should she do something for the elder, she wondered.

She had all those points and giving a few to his health would not be a big deal.

"System, can I assign five points to the elderly couple. It's just ten points in total, we will get them back quickly."

"I hate you, I dislike you, I loathe you." It responded.

"And I feel the complete opposite of that. I love you C-101." She answered.

It was a greedy thing when it came to points. If it could hog them like a squirrel did with nuts in its cheeks, it would. But the points were meant to be used for her.

"Ten points deducted, but only this once." It told her.

Even the system could see the jokes writing themselves. She would do with the points as she pleased, as always.

Back in the study, there was a knock on the door and the loud voice of their grandmother followed the knocking.

"Why is the door locked? Someone open it for me right now."

The brothers looked at each other and then their grandfather. If that door was not opened soon, their grandmother would have it broken down.

"Grandmother, I am not decent." Caishen yelled.

"Don't worry, I know every part of your body." She answered.

Zhang Bo snickered and two people glared at him.

"Doc Jiyuan, you can see that I am completely fine, right? Take this off before my wife storms in here and bashes all of our heads together for lying to her." Grandpa Zhang did not wait for the doctor to respond.

He started taking off the pressure monitor and everything else himself.

His wife didn't need to worry about anything. She was old as well, worrying unnecessary would make her fall ill.

"Your pressure is good and heart beat is steady and normal. But maybe you should come to the hospital for further tests. If you didn't suffer a heartattack or a stroke then perhaps it was something like a panic attack or a deeper underlying condition that we need to diagnose."

Doctor Jiyuan would not be as irresponsible as his client. All the facts had to be shared before he was forced out of the study.

"Thank you doctor, I will arrange for both elders to come in a full body physical." Zhang Bo assured him.

The doctor nodded and Caishen opened the door.

Grandma Zhang pushed her way inside with a hammer in hand.

"Which one of them is sick?" She cornered the doctor and asked.

Doctor Jiyuan looked at the hammer warily and then pointed at Caishen.

Caishen adopted a fake pained look on his face and said softly, "My legs were in pain."

Grandma Zhang rolled her eyes and pointed the hammer at him. The doctor used that opportunity to escape.

"I am going to take off the locks on this door." She said determinedly. Did they think she did not know all of them well enough?

They were hiding something? If her husband was not casually sitting in his chair with a smile, she would press them for more information.

Caishen could not miss the worry in the eyes of his grandmother and the urge to ease the worry dominated.

"Really grandma, it's me. Recently, sensation has returned to my legs and the doctors say I could recover." Caishen assured her.

The hammer dropped out of her hands and her eyes moved to Caishen's legs. Wide in shock, hope, and fear, she approached him and then squatted down.

"Grandmother!!" Both grandsons called her worriedly.

Grandma Zhang put her hands on Caishen's legs and touched them carefully, pressing so lightly.

In a small voice she said, "What do you mean? Caishen, are you telling the truth? Don't lie to me to cover up for the old man." She looked at him with tear filled eyes and said, "Don't give me false hope my dear. It will be too cruel of you to do to an old woman like me."

Grandpa Zhang frowned and Zhang Bo put a hand on Caishen's shoulder. It was not worth it to cause such pain to their grandmother. Lying to her like this was too cruel indeed.

Grandpa Zhang was of the same opinion as Zhang Bo. He, more than anyone else knew the toll all those disappointing miracle cures for Caishen's legs had taken on her. She had become dispirited for so long until when he got married.

Taking her back to the darkness she had just come out from was not something he was on board with. He was willing to admit the truth in this case.

"It was me, the doctor was here for me. I had a little panic attack earlier on and Caishen is trying to cover for me. Honey, we are so sorry."

Grandma Zhang's head popped up and her hands which were still Caishen's legs stilled. Anger radiated from her body suddenly and she pressed down hard.

Caishe winced and grabbed her hands with a pained look on his face.

"Grandmother, it hurts." He whined.

"Stop faking!!" She replied sternly and pinched one of his thighs, then started to get up.

Caishen groaned and winced louder.

"Grandmother!!, I have told you that it hurts. It really hurts. " He complained and rubbed the sore spot.

While grandma Zhang came to the undeniable conclusion that Caishen was not faking his pain, Alix was drowning in her own panic.

There was an alert in the game stating that a bug had been detected and she could not tell if she was the bug which had been discovered.

Was she going to get kicked out of the game just like that?

Ding! System recalibrating. She heard in her mind and her stomach sunk. It was her, she was the bug in the game.
