The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 155: Me or chocolate?
Manager Yu was nothing but quick and efficient. She was so fast in getting them a different room, one with everything she had mentioned. Tall glass windows, a balcony, a bigger jacuzzi, a bed, well decorated and smelling like rose and jasmine.
As soon as she stepped out to coordinate the start of their meal, Caishen turned to Alix to clarify a slight misunderstanding. "Before you jump to any conclusions I want to make it clear that I did not ask for a room with a bed just because I have nefarious plans."
Alix that was already poking around the room curiously was already aware of this. Her husband was not the spontaneous type who planned to do anything in this place. But, she chose to respond differently even if he was aware.
"Even if you do, I won't stop you." she turned her head back and answered.
He leaned back in his wheelchair and said with a serious face, "I am beginning to have a clearer image of your personality. You joke around a lot it seems."
The one he was talking to had made it to the balcony doors and she opened them. The warm summer wind came rushing into the room, spreading that floral scent all through the room even more.
She looked back at him with a smile and replied, "Life is hard enough as it is. Joking and laughing is a good way to get through it. Come over here and see the view, you can see the Qing Diao house of arts all the way from here."
It was one of the best opera houses and theatres in the city. Having been built in the early 90's, it was one of the oldest ones as well which had managed to stand the test of time.
"Someday, I will perform there, for a crowd of.....hmm...." She thought about the number of seats in that theatre.
"One million and seven hundred thousand eighty people." Caishen filled in the empty gap. "That is the exact number of seats in Qiang Diao."
"En," she nodded in agreement. She had no idea how accurate the figure was but she concurred with him anyway.
"You are so clueless." Her system said with a pitiful sigh.
Caishen turned away from the outside view and looked at the large bed which was in the center of the bedroom. The sheets, blankets and two pillows were all black. He couldn't put together a good reason for the existence of the bed in this experience. Did people eat and fall asleep? Or did they practice the ill mannered habit of eating in bed?
It was what he intended to ask when Alix jumped enthusiastically on the idea of a room with a bed and the manager obliged her all too happily.
The door beeped and opened, "Pardon me, I am back."
Manager Yu announced herself before coming inside. She was followed by two employees, one in a waitress uniform, pushing a trolley and another carrying fresh towels and robes.
The one who pushed the trolley inside begun placing items on the table next to the foot of the bed.
Manager Yu explained, "I am not sure what you would like to start with but we have oysters, white wine, freshly sliced apples, bananas and melted chocolate for starters."
The door beeped after that explanations and a different server came in, a male waiter. He brought a variety of colorful cocktails with little fruit umbrellas.
He arranged them around the flowers on a different table. He exited the room and another came in, with different desserts, fruits, cheese, more wine and surprisingly, water.
Caishen and Alix just stood to the side with curious eyes and watched them arrange all these things.
When everything had been arranged, all the servers left and only manager Yu was left behind.
"Young master, madam, everything is ready. To make the experience more exciting, we usually blindfold the guests and provide a helper to guide..."
"That's not necessary." Caishen cut her off rather curtly. "We can take it from here."
Manager Yu bowed politely and excused herself but before leaving, she turned on the music, dimmed the lights, closed the balcony door and the shades. The atmosphere in the room actually changed. The world was bright outside but in this room, it was dull as if the sun was about to set.
"Sooo...." Alix played with her two pointing fingers and drawled on.

She had suggested the experience but she was not exactly the expert on how to proceed next. Jin Kang had said that couples fed each other.
Should I feed him now?
"We should probably eat." Caishen suggested.
"Mmm," she nodded.
His eyes roamed over the two closest tables and he made an observation. "They haven't given us any tools. No chopsticks, no forks and no spoons. How are we supposed to eat any of this?"
"With our hands, I guess. We are supposed to feed each other by hand or we pay for someone to feed us." she answered. Out of the blue, after saying that, she slapped her hands on the table and said determinedly, "No woman is feeding you on my watch."
He moved his eyebrows up and looked at her with an entertained look in his eyes and knowing smile. Oh really!, they seemed to say. She was becoming an expert at claiming him publicly and privately. Every once in a while when he was alone, he would recall her vividly declaring him as her man in front of his family.
The old him would have gone running for the hills but the new him was all for it.
He snickered and said, "In that case, we should wash our hands first."
"En." her strong voice from earlier softened.
They did that and returned to the table, Alix even pulled her chair closer so that she would feed him properly.
"Hubby, let's eat desserts and some wine first." she suggested. Her hands were already reaching for the transparent glass bowl of melted chocolate.
She dipped her pointing finger into the bowl and swirled it around. Looking into his smiles with a naughty smile on her face, she sent the finger into her mouth and sucked the chocolate. Then, she popped it out of her mouth loudly.
"Yum."
Caishen shook his head and laughed softly.
Alix did it again, and this time round, she held the finger to his mouth.
"Hubby, open up."
He grabbed her hand, dipped his head slightly and swallowed her finger into his mouth. While he licked the chocolate off, he maintained eye contact, teasing her with her eyes.
"Ho," she gasped as little sparks travelled up her spine.
He released her hand and got a grape from a bunch that was sitting next to the bananas. He held it to her lips and wiggled his eyebrows.
When she opened her mouth, he retrieved his hand and asked her, "Who do you like more, me or chocolate?"
