While this was occurring, Alix and Caishen were wrapping their date. They had eaten as much as they could to their fill. Caishen could not eat anything else, he had eaten more desserts and sweet things in this short time than he did per week.

So he was coming to the realization that it was not just Xiaobo that she had a bad influence on. He was another of her victims, apparently.

He threw down a pudding cup and shook his head in disbelief as it landed on a pile of six others. Four of those had been consumed by Alix. Four flavors had been provided and in Alix's words, she absolutely had to try them all or it didn't count.

"I am learning bad habits thanks to you."

She laughed freely, throwing her head back as she laughed at him. He was complaining but he was smiling. He had a great time he could not lie about that.

"Next time we should go to the sweets market and when your legs are healed, let's go clubbing. Jin Kang has this all night music festival she attends every year. I have never gone before because I was....I was held up."

She had paused for a second because she didn't want to reveal the fact that she never attended before because she didn't want to spend five hundred yuan on tickets and when she did save up, Wei Tao her ex boyfriend refused her to go because he could not tag along due to his celebrity status. He did not forget to take the one thousand yuan ticket money of course.

Now that she had let go of that useless weight called Wei Tao, she intended to enjoy everything that she had given up. It was too bad that she could not get back the last years of her twenties which he had wasted.

"You have quite the itinerary lined up for us." he replied.

"Hubby, you are my boyfriend. I have to do with you all the things I have always wanted to do with a boyfriend. We can take turns planning different dates according to what we want to do with each other." She reached out and grabbed his right hand. Then, she looked at him and said firmly, "Caishen, I will live a happy life with you."

She was resolute and unswerving when it came to this goal. It struck him that it almost seemed like he didn't have much of a say in this. She had made the decision for both of them and surprisingly, he was not immovable in it. He was okay with trying. The more he admitted this fact to himself, the lighter he felt.

She took her hand back and leaned against the chair but kept her gaze on him unwaveringly. "So, boyfriend, what things do you want to do with your girlfriend?"

He laughed softly, with a bit of shyness on his face. She was becoming an expert at getting his heart to beat uncontrollably. With a few words, she managed to light a little spark in him.

What is wrong with me? he asked himself.

"Boyfriend," she called.

He smiled cunningly and said, "I have always wanted to drink some wine with my girlfriend."

"Ho!" she exclaimed.

"What?" he asked.

"You know what will happen if I drink." She reminded him of the conversation they had had about this. She was very reluctant to mention the horny otter part again.

He refilled an empty glass with wine and looked at her. His eyes carried a hint of mischief and so did his lips. His tongue escaped his mouth and trailed over his bottom lip.

He did it deliberately with the intention of arousing a reaction from her and it pleased him when she stared intently at his lips as expected.

"I have a solution." he said, with a smirk.

"Is it to seduce me?" she asked him.

He picked up the wine glass, put it to his lips and went ahead to down all the contents inside it. Then, he put it on the table and looked at her.

He moved closer to her and put a hand on her head, drawing it closer to his. He put his lips on her ear and kissed the lobe lightly.

Alix clutched her hands that were now sitting obediently in her laps.

Caishen whispered in her ears, "You cannot drink wine directly, but maybe you can get a taste on my tongue."

"Ho!" she exclaimed again, more softly this time.

Given the closeness between them at the moment, it would be so simple. All she had to do was turn her head at the right angle and her lips would meet his. A little taste of wine on his tongue would surely not throw her in the deep end. She would surely not end up throwing him on the bed and having her way with him.

As she thought, so she imagined wickedly and her little heart picked up speed.

"Don't over think it." he whispered to her and tickled her ear with his tongue.

Her breath caught in her throat and she stiffened.

He shifted his head a bit, suddenly reached for one of her hands and placed it at his throat and watched her with a teasing smile on his face. No games, no teasing, he wanted her to take what she wanted confidently.

She used the hand on his throat to pull his head down and her lips met his. It was a teasing kiss, as she simply brushed her lips against his lightly.

Caishen smiled and grabbed her head. He was not as patient as she was. He wanted his tongue in her mouth and hers in his. He leaned in deeper and kissed her, taking charge quickly. He prodded at the entrance of her mouth with his tongue and she opened up for him. He gripped her hair tighter and devoured her lips deeply in a long passionate kiss which made her whimper.

She tasted of different sweet things which she had eaten. She tasted of vanilla, strawberry, and a lot of chocolate.

He thought he didn't want anything sweet in his mouth for a period of at least a month but this was different. If he could get the sweetness from her mouth, he would happily take it.

He ended the kiss before they could lose their minds. However private this room was, it was not the right place to work out their passions.

Alix grasped at his shirt and tried to pull him back but he held her hands and shook his head.

"Calm down my horny sea otter."

She rewarded him by slapping his chest lightly.

"Ouch." he said dryly.

She shook her head and bit her bottom lip. Then she said, "I think we should drink like this more often. As your girlfriend, I think I have discovered a new passion for wine."

"Have you now?" he teased.

She shrugged and nodded. "You are looking at a certified alcoholic."

Caishen closed his eyes a bit as he laughed at her words. She was one unique individual and the most interesting woman he had ever met.

"Let's go home." he told her.

Her eyes lit up and she said, "Ooh, on the way home I will hit on you with all my best lines."
