The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 179: Success at all costs.
Not everyone that was at the scene of the crime was was a neighbor. In their midst had been a man in a grey hat and black jacket. As soon as the doors to the apartment closed, he made a call.
The person he called, then made a call and the recipient was none other than Jing Hee.
"Bad news, your step-daughter knows about your husband's bastard. She is there right now with her husband."
Jing He was preparing Lin Billi's lunch, a meal that consisted of two boiled eggs, greens, one apple and a warm tea with one spoon of honey.
When the call came, she smashed both of the eggs with her bare hands.
"Go it." She said and hung up. In her mind, Jing Hee said, "Even that little wench knows about her father's bastard. Is she thinking of uniting with him so that they can oppress my daughter?"
Her lips twisted as her thoughts took on a malicious appearance. All of them would be crushed under her feet.
Satisfaction would only come after those two bastards were six feet underground. Her daughter would succeed at all costs.
One of the newly hired maids came into the kitchen and immediately noticed Jing Hee's hand.
"Madam, the eggs!" She cried out.
Mechanically, Jing Hee with a cold look on her face walked to the sink and washed her hands. Then, she turned around and carried the tray.
"Don't you need new eggs?" The maid asked.
This had been Lin Billi's lunch and dinner for three days now. Jing Hee thought she could lose a little weight because she had put on two extra kilograms going from forty three kilograms to forty five.
"She doesn't need them." Jing Hee snapped at the maid harshly.

Alix was already on television in addition to the song she had sold to director Ban. Billi needed to work twice harder to ensure that Alix did not catch up with her. Jing Hee collected her thoughts and walked past her mother-in-law that was just entering the kitchen.
"Tsk, tsk, she doesn't even respect me anymore. What an ill mannered thing. A good for nothing chicken that cannot lay eggs." The old woman muttered. She looked at the two maids in the kitchen and said rudely, "You and you, what's for lunch?"
She would not dwell on Jing Hee when she had plans to make with her son over lunch. They needed to bring home the only son and legal heir of their Lin family.
The ones she was plotting against were coming up with their own plan. Alix had managed to calm Meifen down while Yuewei just looked at his mother with a plethora of emotions. From what Alix could read, anger and worry were the strongest ones.
Meifen asked Alix, "Why don't you want me to tell the police about her? You are here and you can just tell them what you told me."
"Because she is my step-mother and everyone knows there is no love lost between us. The minute I say something it will look like a feud between family members. We have no evidence that she did it, unless you have something. Do you?" She opened her hand, gesturing for Meifen to put the evidence in her palm if she had it.
Meifen shook her head, just as Alix expected.
"You told me that you are willing to move, so for now, start packing up. I will send you a new address that you can move to immediately."
"Yuewei has school tomorrow. We have to handle his transfer first."
Meifen said.
"We will handle it." Caishen told her.
After saying that with authority, he showed Alix his phone. On the screen was an image of an apartment building. "They can move to this building first. It's within walking distance of the school."
Jacob's work had already started and he had acquired two properties near the school, an apartment building and a restaurant.
"One of the bodyguards will remain behind and see to it that you are successfully escorted. Pack what's essential for now, a moving company will bring the rest of your property to you."
Caishen took charge and dispensed instructions authoritatively. Alix could depict what he was like in the office from the way he spoke. He exuded authority, the kind which required everyone to do as instructed and no one to talk back. His confidence was rather appealing and comforting. It was inappropriate moment, but the thought that her man was sexy crossed her mind.
Meifen and Yuewei packed two bags. Yuewei carried his father's portrait, hugging it tightly. He did not look once at his trophies as he held his mother's hand and reassured her.
They all went downstairs and a car which was already waiting drove mother and son away. Alix assumed that Caishen was responsible for the car as well.
What a dependable man, she thought. He had taken care of everything for her within such a short time.
"Your brother is a great son." the system,
In a melancholic voice, she sighed and agreed with it. "He really is."
"Let's go home." Caishen took her hand and told her.
Gu Biming was at this time was enjoying or torturing himself as he accompanied Ning Li, the one person in the world he loved to hate on a date.
Of all places they could have gone, she had dragged him to the natural history museum. He would have preferred a restaurant, a good meal and some wine. Or a movie because his personal witch was acting like a teacher taking a student on a trip to the museum. As expected of his sis Li, she was admiring the structures of the skeletons.
"Come here." she called him.
"I would rather not." he answered dully and yet his feet still carried him in her direction. With a sigh, he bent down to admire the sharp teeth of a carnivore she was looking at.
She tilted her head towards him and asked, "Aren't they magnificent?"
Biming could not answer as the words were stuck in his throat. Ning Li's smile caught him off guard because she rarely smiled like this. For him, everything came to a standstill and he could see her mouth move but he heard nothing.
"So you can smile like this too?" he blurted out.
She scowled, raised her foot and kicked him in the leg. "Get your head on straight and your phone is ringing."
Biming was embarrassed and he looked away from her quickly. He cleared his throat awkwardly and walked away to answer his phone.
"So cute, but so silly." she said to herself. Ning Li giggled and went back to staring at the teeth.
Less than a minute later, Biming returned with a puzzled look on his face.
"What's wrong? Did something happen to your boss again?" she asked him.
"I am not sure." he answered.
His boss wanted him to handle the transfer procedure of one Zhi Yuewei from number one high school to Fuwen academy. The question on his mind was, who is Zhi Yuewei?
"Is the date ending? You can go and leave me behind, I still have to visit the origin of human beings exhibition."
Biming sidled up to her and put an arm around her shoulders. "So you admit that it's a date, huh?"
Ning Li pushed his arm away and said, "I admit nothing."
She turned and walked away quickly to cover up the embarrassment she was feeling. Now, that silly guy would know how she felt about him and tease her all the time.
"Sis Li, wait for me." he called out. "My date, Ning Li, why are you moving so fast?" he added loudly.
She turned back and glared at him then continued her speed walking. Just as she expected, he had started.
