This Giant Dragon is So Powerful!-Chapter 109 - 1: Loyalty · Experimentation · Training · Hunt_3
Human slaves harbor a fear mixed with a desire for power, and under the Kingdom’s system, ordinary people without power are usually the oppressed, inherently submissive in nature. Beastman slaves are similar, but they have a stronger pursuit and yearning for power, while Harpy slaves... after witnessing Udi’s mighty and massive Dragon Body, they don’t even need Udi to do anything; they become overwhelmingly excited, seemingly regretting being captured here too late.
It is worth praising that the size increase brought by the Banquet is truly impressive.
For the Giant Dragon race, whose strength can be roughly gauged by size, the form displayed by Udi is incredibly deceptive to ordinary creatures.
This counts as an invisible advantage, making the collection of Followers much easier. From High-level Mage Roy to Griffin Bley, and now the Harpies, these are the most practical examples.
If Udi did not have this size, even with the same strength, the outcome might not have been the same.
"Indeed, everywhere is the same, prioritizing external appearances," Udi murmured to himself.
Additionally, there’s a piece of good news.
After observing the White Dragon Beast for several days, Udi finally confirms that his Void Power can be entirely bestowed upon the Dragon Beast!
If it can be bestowed upon the Dragon Beast, it is very likely to be bestowed upon the Giant Dragon as well. The Void Power manifested on the White Dragon Beast does not carry the traits of Udi’s Black Dragon Blood; it is pure Void Power.
Dragon Beasts and Giant Dragons indeed cannot form a Servant Contract or be infused with one’s bloodline, but Void Power is different; it is a special power detached from Udi’s Black Dragon Blood.
"The essence of Void Power is very advanced; it might involve certain rules or concepts itself," Udi thought silently to himself.
Feeling something cool beneath his feet, Udi came back to his senses and lowered his massive dragon head.
The petite White Dragon Beast was breathing cold air onto Udi’s front right claw, the source of the cool sensation Udi felt.
With a light flick, Udi’s Dragon Claw gently tapped on the White Dragon Beast’s small forehead, flipping it over to reveal its belly.
The little creature panicked, struggling hard with all its limbs, trying to turn over and counterattack the Black-scaled Giant Beast before it, yet the Giant Beast easily pinned it down with just one claw.
Just when the little creature was about to give up struggling, Udi released the Dragon Claw, granting it freedom.
Seizing the opportunity, the freed White Dragon Beast scratched and breathed cold air at Udi’s Dragon Claw once more, occasionally biting it with its mouth full of sharp dragon teeth.
No matter how the White Dragon Beast attacked Udi, it could not harm Udi in the slightest, merely causing Udi to feel a refreshing and ticklish scratching sensation from time to time.
Soon, the White Dragon Beast tired out. Breathing and attacking indeed drain much energy.
Udi used a Dragon Claw to play with the fluffy little creature. Once provoked, it spat two more puffs of cold air at him. Eventually, the little creature gave up struggling, no matter how Udi teased it.
"Haha," Udi chuckled.
It felt like raising a pet.
In fact, this is the first step in raising a pet: taming and training.
Dragon Beasts have intelligence akin to wild animals, behaving similarly, so if tamed well, they are not much different from pets.
By then, even without the restraint of a contract, loyalty remains high, and betrayal is unlikely.
However, the premise is that Dragon Beasts can be tamed, trained, and domesticated, which is rather challenging to achieve.
Dragon Beasts essentially are Giant Dragons that failed to inherit the Dragon’s Legacy, with degenerated bloodlines, but this does not hide the inherent strength and pride in their blood.
Thus, taming them requires not only a strength threshold but also a lengthy period of familiarity.
"Since I’m raising it as a pet, it definitely needs a name," Udi contemplated while rubbing the round White Dragon Beast with a Dragon Claw, pondering what name would suit it best.
After thinking hard for a while, Udi’s eyes lit up,
"I’ll name it Antonio."
The name was a random invention by Udi, simply because he found it catchy and easy to remember.
Although this White Dragon Beast is female, and the name Antonio has a more masculine connotation.
Antonio rolled over, humming softly, its clear, innocent eyes unfocused, clearly disheartened.
Footsteps resonated from the Dragon Nest passageway; one by one, Dragon-blooded Maids carried skinned and cleaned beasts and demons into the Dragon Nest.
Upon smelling the food, the starving Antonio suddenly found the strength to struggle, but under Udi’s Dragon Claw suppression, all its efforts were in vain.
There are now seventy-six members in the Dragon-blooded Maid Corps: sixty-nine humans and seven Aegean Beastmen.
As the Maid Chief, Sofia was genuinely delighted with the new batch of Dragon-blooded Maids. Previously, with only thirteen maids, manpower was insufficient. The master’s ever-growing Dragon Body and appetite put immense pressure on the Dragon-blooded Maids, even with the help of ten male servants.
Male servants can only provide some assistance in food preparation; in other areas, like massages, they cannot intervene. Besides, Udi wouldn’t tolerate a group of men crawling all over him.
