Three Treasures: Spoiled Wife Goes Wild-Chapter 1737: Discovered Something Suspicious
Chad looked at Hank in surprise.
"Because I smelled hospital disinfectant on Mom."
Hank said seriously.
When Charlotte returned, he was the first to hug her. Because he smelled disinfectant on Charlotte, he asked about her health.
"I thought Mom’s smell was strange earlier; turns out it’s the hospital disinfectant." Jack tapped his palm, his face solemn.
"Could Mom really be sick?"
"No, I have to go see Mom." Olivia stood up from her chair, looking anxious and wanting to leave the room.
However, Hank stopped her.
This left Olivia puzzled, looking at him.
"Why are you stopping me, second brother? Shouldn’t we go check on Mom?"
Hank placed a hand on Olivia’s shoulder, sighed, and for once, his usually cheerful demeanor showed a serious expression.
"I know you’re worried about Mom, and so are we. But do you think Mom will tell us if we ask her? She’ll just say we’re overthinking and there’s nothing to worry about."
Sure enough, Hank’s words silenced Olivia.
She pursed her lips tightly and hesitated a moment before speaking again, her voice choked.
"But I’m worried about Mom..."
Seeing that Olivia was about to cry, Cyrus stepped forward to gently pat her head in comfort.
"Mom may not tell us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find out what’s happening with her."
"Big brother, you mean..." Jack hesitated, then the children exchanged glances, understanding each other’s thoughts.
At this moment, Charlotte was unaware that the children had noticed something was off.
The next day was the weekend; the children didn’t have to go to kindergarten, so Charlotte sent them to the Thompson Family, letting her brothers take care of them.
She arranged her work and then went to the hospital.
After all, Charlotte was still concerned about Annie Anne’s situation.
Since Oliver Hudson came out of surgery, Annie has been by his side, not eating or drinking, like a statue. When Charlotte was there, she could persuade her a bit, but now that she’s back, who knows what Annie might be like?
Yet, Charlotte had barely left the Thompson Family when the children gathered together to discuss their next plan.
"Let’s follow Mom now and see where she’s going." Olivia said eagerly.
"But Mom drove away, we can’t keep up with her." Chad sighed in frustration.
Hank turned his gaze to Cyrus, who was still manipulating his tablet, and leaned over, seeing that the tablet displayed a coordinate location.
"Big brother, did you put a tracker on Mom?" Hank’s eyes widened at Cyrus, though he wasn’t surprised Cyrus had done that.
"It’s the location tracker on Mom’s car."
Cyrus answered calmly, his eyes following the continuously moving coordinates.
The other children gathered around upon hearing Cyrus’s words.
Hank pointed at the computer screen, "Indeed, this road isn’t the way to Mom’s company."
