To Byul (Omegaverse)-Chapter 194: Do you want me to kiss your lips?
Chin-hwa looked at the diamond ring in the ring box, his heart thumping warmly.
"Park Chin-hwa, will you do me the honor of being the luckiest man in the world? This Alpha, who thought he could only glance at his Omega from afar and never take a step, this Alpha who wished for nothing more than to watch you smile, this Alpha that could never stop his heart from beating for you. Would you... Please be my wife?"
Chin-hwa didn’t know why he had become emotional at this point, but hearing the sincerity in Kang-woo’s voice and the tears that were resting at the bottom of his eyes made him tear up.
A tear rolled down from one eye and then another on the other eye.
He had so much to say, but in that moment, no words could exactly describe what he was feeling, so he said,
"Yes." He showed his hand. "I will marry you."
The tears waiting at the bottom of Kang-woo’s eyes finally fell. This was one thing he was sure he did right. The one thing he didn’t need anyone to tell him to do.
He slid the ring into Chin-hwa’s finger and then kissed it.
"It’s pretty." He said and then glanced up. "But not as pretty as my wife."
Chin-hwa felt so light at heart as he cleaned the tears on his cheek with the sleeve of his hoodie.
"Your pretty wife is crying." He said. "Do something."
Kang-woo laughed and then got up from his knees, hugging Chin-hwa’s head to his stomach, and Chin-hwa wrapped his arms around him.
"My pretty wife is still pretty when he cries." He said. "He’s the prettiest in the world."
His words were meant to comfort Chin-hwa, but they only made him cry more. He wasn’t crying because he was sad. He was just emotional.
"Byul," Chin-hwa called and pushed his head back to look at Kang-woo’s face, and Kang-woo looked down at him.
"Yes, Hwa?" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
"Will you kiss my lips?" He asked, and Kang-woo’s breath got caught. He was so cute
"Do you want me to kiss your lips?" Kang-woo asked, and Chin-hwa nodded.
He was so adorable.
Kang-woo leaned down and kissed his lips, softly and gently.
"What more does my wife want?"
"Hug me." He demanded with a soft tone that it made it sound more like pleading than a demand.
"Yes, of course." He hugged him. "Anything for my wife."
Meanwhile, Hae-won was spying on them and thought how cute they looked together.
"They make a great couple," he whispered, and Woo-bin responded from behind,
"And that’s what makes it so hard to accept." He had that grumpy expression on his face, and Hae-won turned to him.
"Oh, will you give it a rest? It’s not like Kang-woo popped in out of nowhere and swept our baby out of our lives." Hae-won explained and walked towards him.
"From the moment little Hwa changed his personality and cried all night till he could not cry anymore, all for Kang-woo, we knew that their fate had been set in stone." He hooked his arms around Woo-bin’s neck. "It’s not like we could keep him unmarried forever."
"It’s just too soon." Woo-bin said and pecked Chin-hwa’s lips. "I was going to keep him till he was thirty."
Hearing this, Hae-won laughed.
Yes, Woo-bin was a total sucker for his last child. He would do absolutely anything for him, and if he said he would’ve kept Chin-hwa till 30 before sending him off to marriage, then he was serious.
’Then, should I say it’s a good thing they’re getting married urgently now?’ Hae-won thought and chuckled. "Come on, look on the bright side. We’re getting a grandchild. One you can spoil to bits."
"Yes, I guess you’re right." He held Hae-won’s waist and pressed his forehead to his. "I bet they’ll be as cute as our baby Hwa."
"Yeah."
"It’ll be even better if they’re blond," Woo-bin added, and Hae-won’s eyes glazed over him.
"Oh, give it a rest."
Woo-bin laughed.
He hugged Hae-won and turned slowly, moving their bodies as though they were dancing to a slow tune, but there was no music playing.
It was just Woo-bin humming in a quiet tone.
The next day came, and the day after that was the day of the wedding.
A wedding like this, walking down the aisle, exchanging rings and saying their vows... it was a one-time thing, so they wanted it to be perfect.
Just as Hae-won had an open-air wedding, he wished Chin-hwa would have that similar wedding style.
It was beautiful, lasting, and warm to look at.
He wanted Chin-hwa to at least feel special, even though this day had been rushed.
"You look wonderful," Si-woo said as she looked at her brother in white.
She was with him there with the stylist.
Hae-won got up to check himself in the big mirror. He was wearing a white suit that had a tailcoat. A pretty one. There was a pretty white flower on his breast pocket as well.
’I doubt this was prepared in a week.’ Chin-hwa thought, staring at his reflection in the mirror. ’It’s pretty.’
"Are you ready?" Hae-won asked as he walked in, and then he saw his son. "Ah, an angel has suddenly descended." He dramatically wailed, and they laughed.
Chin-hwa decided to play along.
"Ah, the angel’s mother has also descended. My eyes." He wailed, squinting his eyes as he shielded them from the rays Hae-won was giving off, and they laughed once more.
"You’ve gotten quite the tongue," Hae-won said. "I wonder where you got that from?"
"Of course, it’s the beautiful Omega standing in front of me." Chin-hwa answered.
Hae-won looked at Chin-hwa softly, reminiscing with his eyes how Chin-hwa had just been a little bean sprout in his arms only a moment ago.
Now, he was getting married and also getting ready to produce his own bean sprouts.
"Mummy?" Chin-hwa called worriedly as he saw tears in Hae-won’s eyes.
"Gosh, I think Ga-ram nearly pulled out my eyelashes." He said, cleaning his eyes to hide his tears. "They make me teary-eyed."
Of course, Chin-hwa knew that was just an excuse. He hugged Hae-won but was careful not to rub his makeup off on him.
"It’s fine." Chin-hwa said. "Your eyelashes are still there."
Baek-Hyun was set to walk with Chin-hwa in the aisle. Of course, Woo-bin fought for that spot, but he lost in rock, paper, scissors and had to admit defeat and sit back.
(The game of rock paper scissors was brought about as a means to settle their small disputes at first, but then they began to use it to settle big disputes as well. It was very effective with no cheating, that was why.)
"Come on, baby." Hae-won said. "Your fathers are waiting for you."
