Tower: Rebirth of the Absolute Demon-Chapter 78: Ch : The First Heaven
Chapter 78: Ch 78: The First Heaven
Ye Tian had already realized what was truly happening behind his back. And yet, he smiled right in the face of such a danger to his existence.
Rather tha,n being afraid or angry about what had been happening to him behind the scenes, he was looking forward to it.
With a smile on his face and his mana dispersed, Ye Tian stepped out of the main hall through the broken-down castle wall. And started to walk towards the battlefield.
Aura and Divine Mana particles filled the air. For the first time in a while, Ye Tian looked disgusted at the sight of what he once called ’an inferior energy’.
He let out a sarcastic snort as he couldn’t bear to see such energies filling the air.
"Well, This makes things easier for me."
He raised his hand and extended it upwards as much as he could. With a swift motion and a disturbing *squelch* sound, Ye Tian impaled his hand into his forehead.
His fingers dug inside his own skull, while blood slowly slithered away, making its own way before finally falling off of his face—leaving a gut-curdling trail of blood behind.
Until now, Ye Tian had relied on something he never claimed to be his own.
A foreign energy that he wasn’t familiar with, yet acted as if he was born with it.
Even if he had done it under someone else’s influence, it was a shame to his name.
Thus, he had chosen to redeem himself and end things once and for all.
They say, ’To win against a gun, u must have a bigger gun.’ and that is exactly what Ye Tian wanted to do.
Rather than being a bitch and continue using Mana while ignoring the humility, he had chosen to unseal his powers.
In the very depths of his forehead existed a very minute gem that not only was the materialization of his soul but also the seal he had placed on himself to prevent the use of soul power any further.
And just now, he had shattered that very gem—unleashing the exhaustible power he had been saving for the future.
The atmosphere, the space, seemed to have stopped for a brief moment.
Even after multiple uses of his soul power, he had enough left to rival a supreme creator.
Without caring for his mortal vessel, Ye Tian had completely unleashed his remaining powers.
It wasn’t some instantaneous process, as the little by little, glowing particles of all sorts of energies seemed to be pooling towards him.
Converging together, they formed a bright outline of shimmering light that covered his entire body.
The space became normal, and everything resumed. But only one thing had changed, and that was... Ye Tian.
He pulled his hand out, blood splattered across the ground, and yet the wound healed instantly.
Ye Tian continued to march forward silently while a wide confident grin slithered onto his lips.
However, that wasn’t all.
Because at that very moment, the divine mana and the aura that was spread across the air seemed to have vanished without a trace.
Before Ye Tian had discovered the fact that mana could be condensed into qi, yet he couldn’t manage to withstand the process because his body was too weak.
But now, things were different.
With soul energy—powerful enough to completely annihilate the whole world—protecting his body, he had begun to converge all the mana and aura.
Creating Qi, Forming Qi vessels, connecting his dantians, opening the Qi consciousness, and materializing his own soul—He was doing all sorts of things all at once.
With each step, he made countless breakthroughs, ignoring heaven’s tribulations, Ye Tian jumped from one stage to another as if it was a child’s play.
By the time he had reached the battlefield, he had already achieved something that was simply unheard of.
Without breaking a sweat, he had achieved the pinnacle of mortal cultivation—The Mahayana Realm.
Even when Ye Tian was fighting the God of Death, he had assessed his level to be just that of a Body-Soul Unity realm. And yet, here he stood, with an unsurmountable difference in strength.
His eyes drifted towards the battlefield, securing a full view, he finally stepped forward as he raised his hand high in the air.
"Nine Heavens Devouring Technique..." His voice softly echoed as a dark, uncontrollable energy quickly coated his hand.
"The First Heaven..."
The energy shot out from his hand into the air, and slowly condensed into a dragon.
Ye tian looked at him with bright eyes and muttered under his breath, "Long time..."
The dragon looked at him with widened eyes.
To begin with, the nine heavens devouring techniques weren’t some measly techniques to absorb someone’s energy. It was divine technique created and later modified by someone who had reached the absolute realm. freeweɓnøvel~com
But before, Ye Tian couldn’t completely unleash ita potential because he himself did not have enough powers. Because to utilize such a technique, one had to continuously use his own qi, to maintain the will of the creature.
It was, more or less, a summoning technique that summoned the will of a world-endangering creature while its materialization and powers were all connected to that of the user.
The dragon suddenly turned his head around, growling in anger as it noticed the presence of a measly energy and the unwelcomed sounds of battle that were interrupting their reunion.
"Go ahead."
Hearing Ye Tian’s words, the dragon widened his eyes before willingly flying off toward the origins of such sounds.
Within an instant, the dragon used Ye Tian’s qi, increasing his size to somewhat of a usable size, and headed towards the battlefield with incredible speed.
God of shadows, when tried to escape, was gobbled up by the dragon’s innate abilities and absorbed by Ye Tian.
Then, with a thundering, soul-annihilating roar, it brought the gods to the brink of their extinction.
All the while, Ye Tian casually walked into the battlefield—not even batting an eye at the so-called gods, groveling onto the ground as if they were too weak to be someone worthy of his gaze.
