Transmigrated as Baron, Married with my Lovely Maid-Chapter 74
"What do you mean by my ex-wife’s lover, Leysha?" I asked again, frowning.
"Hmm... if I’m not mistaken, this man’s face... does resemble someone we knew, Baron Atreus...Or is it just me, Baron?" Leysha asked, half-doubtingly, half-convinced.
I paused for a moment, trying to recall the face of Dezy, my ex-wife’s lover.
If I imagine Ulrich’s face in this painting getting older... it does seem quite similar.
Damn, this Dezy is Ulrich Aurelius?
He’s the leader of a major criminal gang in my world, and he has quite the army.
Amazingly, that bastard Dezy could become a gangster leader despite coming from this world.
But it seems unlikely that he came to my world empty-handed.
It seems King Victor Dragomir, or perhaps Duke Archer, his father, gave him something that gave him enough power to become the gangster leader in my world.
I might commend him for that, but I can’t understand that idiot choosing my ex-wife, even going so far as to manipulate my child just so he could be her father.
"So this means I have to see my ex-wife again? And my daughter who already hates me? Ah, just thinking about it makes me want to throw up..." I said after taking a deep breath.
But after thinking about it, it seems I was destined to see them again.
Seeing the people who ruined my life is hell for me.
And the last time they saw me, I was already considered a monster to them.
But from my perspective, they were the two of them who were the real monsters, having thrown away all my sacrifices, even tarnishing my reputation just to get all my assets.
Damn it.
Just thinking about it makes my body boil.
If this is fate, then okay, I accept it.
Because I know fate is asking me to repay all the injustice and humiliation it has inflicted on me.
Sigh... my breath hitched as I recalled the cold, angry encounter with my ex-wife and daughter.
They left me alone, which forces me to change my fate to become the ruler of this world, and if fate dictates otherwise, then I will use this to avenge them.
"Baron Atreus..."
Leysha approached me, took my hand, and then hugged my right arm tightly.
I could feel her warmth as my right arm was wrapped tightly around her, her ample breasts encasing my right arm.
"Calm down, Baron Atreus. I know it’s hard for you to face them again...but rest assured that a better future is ahead. You just need to focus on moving forward without looking back."
Leysha tried to calm me down, knowing I was holding back my anger.
She gently took my right palm in hers and moved it to her stomach.
At first, I was confused by her intentions, but I remembered the sensation.
This warm feeling in her stomach, is Leysha pregnant?
Huh...!
Great.
Finally, I’ll have a child who will be my heir!
"Does it feel hard yet, Leysha...?" I asked curiously.
"Oh... no, Baron. I don’t know for sure, but I think there are signs, although I’m not entirely sure myself," Leysha replied, her face flushing red with embarrassment.
"It’s okay, Leysha. If it’s true, I’d certainly be happy about it.", I said, reassuring her.
"Yes, Baron... your sperm seems very potent and frequently fills my womb... no wonder it takes effect so quickly..."
"Can you still on mission with such condition, Leysha? I certainly won’t force you to go to my world if you feel uncomfortable, Leysha."
"N-no, Baron Atreus! I will never leave you! I’m still standing like this without any contractions or anything because I believe I can still do it, Baron Atreus!"
"Well, that’s lovely to hear. Then summon the Great Wyvern. We’ll return to Vermillion Palace with its help."
"Understood, Baron Atreus...!"
*
"BASTARD...! DON’T THINK I’M A DOVE YOU CAN SUMMON!!"
Amidst the howling wind in the sky, Leysha and I held tightly onto the Great Wyvern’s back.
The dragon flapped its wings rapidly, soaring away toward the Vermillion fortress.
Despite its harsh words filled with false arrogance, in the end, the Great Wyvern did choose to obey my command.
After all, the dragon and I had a vow that was now binding us because I successfully completed its challenge.
"You dragons are always so arrogant... don’t make any noise, Great Wyvern. Just escort us both to the palace hall!" I said quickly.
"TCH! DON’T THINK YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT, VERMILLION BOY! I-"
"Baron Atreus was right...! Just focus on our mission to save Baroness Sheza." Leysha interrupted.
"SHUT UP, LADY! DONT’ YOU THINK YOU UNDERSTAND HOW I FEEL...!"
Before the Great Wyvern could protest any further, I hugged Leysha tightly and raised my right palm high.
My Black Star reacted, immediately
I released lightning spell that instantly shocked the Great Wyvern.
BZZZT...!
"GAHHH...!"
The Great Wyvern’s body suddenly went limp and stiff from my lightning strike.
We fell, but I had already used earth magic to keep Leysha and me on our feet.
The dragon dove far, as if about to fall into the treeline below, but it immediately raised its wings and flapped high into the sky.
"D-DAMN IT...! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT LIGHTNING...?! VERMILLION BOY...! CAN’T THAT MAGIC BE YOUR ATTACK...?!" the Great Wyvern gasped, still enduring the pain from the previous electric shock.
"Yes, Great Wyvern. Any problem with that? I’ve already warned you, and I don’t need to repeat it," I said calmly and firmly.
The Great Wyvern grunted in annoyance, but ultimately complied.
"TCH...! I KNEW WHERE YOU AND YOUR WIFE WERE GOING, VERMILLION BOY..."
"Ah, really? Do you dragons know a place where dragons don’t live?" I asked, teasingly.
"YES...! A SAD AND BORING WORLD WITHOUT US DRAGONS, VERMILLION BOY. NOW!"
Huh...if he knew my world, then it would be in an uproar when they saw a dragon this big and gigantic-they’d probably panic already.
"...BUT...THOUGH IT’S SAD AND BORING...I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I HAVE ONE OF OUR BROTHERS SEALED THERE...! TRULY A PATHETIC FATE...!"
What?
There’s another dragon sealed in my world?
"You must be joking... there’s no way a dragon could have entered that place, Great Wyvern..." I said, not immediately believing it.
"I’M NOT LYING, VERMILLION BOY. REMEMBER! I’VE ALREADY SUBMITTED TO OUR OATH AND OUR SHARED COMMITMENT. BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THERE’S A DRAGON DELIBERATELY SEALED THERE TO ALLOW KING VICTORY’S EMPANDS TO EXPAN INTO THAT STRANGE WORLD...!"
Well... to be honest, I can’t imagine a dragon entering my world and being sealed there.
But the hideous motivation of Duke Archer and King Victor made me think otherwise.
There’s no way my world wouldn’t know about it, unless the place is truly hidden.
Of course, I’ll definitely search for the dragon sealed in my world to strengthen my army as a wizard.
And I don’t need to delve into the entire world, but I just need to hold onto the person who holds the key to my goals: Ulrich Aurelius, a.k.a. Dezy.
