Transmigrated As The Final Villain of a Death Game-Chapter 167: The Deal [ 2 ]
"Amon..."
Aliyah let out a sigh.
"You’re asking for a lot. No, you’re asking for way too much. I can’t grant you an audience with the others. It’s not because I don’t trust you around them, but because unlike me, Adam, and Braum, the rest are all anonymous."
Yeah... I figured as much.
But it didn’t hurt to try anyway.
"What about everything else?"
She thought about it for a moment, then nodded.
"I’ll agree to everything only if you tell me what you meant by the world ending."
Hmm...
"Fair enough."
Clearing my throat, I said:
"In a few months, millions of demons are going to descend from the Demon Realm by using innocent people as gateways. I’m sure Morr already told you about what we found, so I won’t get into too many details."
"...Anyway. I’ve been working toward stopping this from happening for the last year. These last couple of months have assured me the descent is impossible to stop. That’s why I want to prepare you and everyone else for the worst."
It was a basic way of telling her, but since she knew I had a bunch of information in my head, she listened.
Also, by default...
"At the very least, relay this information to the 12 Calamities. Say that it’s from Amon Everness. I’m sure they’ll take my advice to heart, especially since one of those 12 Calamities already tried to recruit me."
Hearing that, her eyes widened slightly.
"Was it Nicole?"
"I don’t know her name. She did have golden hair though," I replied patiently.
With that, Aliyah fell into thought again, just this time for a few minutes longer.
And eventually, she just nodded at me again.
"It’s a little hard to believe everything you’ve just told me, but if something like that’s really going to happen, then the 12 Calamities need to start moving ahead of time."
She rubbed her chin slightly.
"If we can get the emperors, kings, and even the church to cooperate, we’ll be able to avoid a lot of casualties."
I let out a chuckle.
"Do you want to take a guess who infected all the barbarians? The Holy Order. If you put those bastards in the same room as the emperors and kings, you won’t have any emperors or kings left."
The last thing I wanted was infighting, after all.
She understood that as well.
I’m also guessing she figured out that there might be some emperors or kings who are also controlled by demons.
In the end, gathering everyone would only lead to a bunch more casualties.
"Alright then. I agree to everything, but I’ll only be able to teach you my swordsmanship after I’m done with everything else. Gathering Adam’s flowers, preparing the—"
"Let’s meet again in half a year, if we’re still alive. On Christmas, maybe? Yeah. I’ll come by the Pandora Mountains during Christmas, and you can teach me."
Half a year was both a lot of time and not that much time because of everything that’s going to be happening.
"Okay. I’ll talk to Adam later and tell him everything. Will that be all?"
I nodded.
With that, the two of us returned to sparring at a slightly slower pace.
When we were done sparring, it was already dark outside.
Right as Aliyah was about to leave and wash up at the hotsprings below, I took out a map and marked down all 7 of the remaining locations before tossing the map at her.
She caught it and inspected it.
"They’re pretty far apart."
"Yeah. That’s why I suggested meeting on Christmas."
"Mmm... I guess I’ll set out tomorrow then," she added.
I raised a brow.
"You’re leaving already?"
"I am. Get some sleep, since I’ll be taking you to get you some identification in the morning. Tell Clementine about it too."
With that, she waved and went down toward the hotsprings.
As for me, I smiled slightly and walked behind Adam’s hut.
I spotted Clementine sitting on one of the logs, eating some cherry tomatoes and reading a book.
Though just then, she finally put the book down and leaned back, turning her head toward me.
"I’m finally done with all the books... I’ll learn how to heal you tomorrow."
I gently brushed her hair and began telling her about the conversation I had with Aliyah.
It was pretty brief, but for some reason, Clementine seemed a little pissed.
"You’re telling me all of these books I read were not even necessary?"
Her brow twitched repeatedly.
"Hundreds of thousands of words... So many techniques, and you’re telling me that bastard has another technique he hasn’t shown me?"
She stood up with a pout, and I held her back from going and beating Adam up.
"N-Now now. Calm down. He’ll teach you. I promise he will. Aside from that, you’ve read enough books, so let’s go to sleep, yeah? The identification process is going to take a few hours, and I don’t want you snoozing over there."
Clementine grumbled.
Then, she settled down and closed her eyes.
"Good night."
"You’re sleeping in the garden...?"
"What’s the difference? We usually just sleep in the hotsprings anyway. It’s warm today, and I don’t want to melt," she replied.
Ah.
True.
Since she’s used to sleeping in the water, she doesn’t really need a bed or anything to be super comfortable.
Unlike her, I covered myself in Telekinesis and laid down, hovering just a few inches off the ground.
Since I couldn’t exactly sleep beside her like this, I closed my eyes and soon drifted off to sleep.

It was now morning.
Clementine and I washed up and then met up with Aliyah, who was waiting for us at the bottom of the mountain.
"Adam won’t be coming, but he said he told the others that we’ll be coming."
"Where exactly will we be going? To the capital, or...?"
"Ventra, the capital. I won’t bore you with the details, so let’s just head out right away. It’ll only take us a few hours of running to get there, so be sure to keep up with me."
