Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?-Chapter 185 - 186: Pass, Pass, Pass!
Chapter 185 - 186: Pass, Pass, Pass!
The commercial pedestrian street was bustling on Sunday.
People walked in small groups along the stone-paved road, with a gentle breeze slipping through the gaps between them, carrying the first hints of summer.
The early summer sun wasn't harsh. Its soft, warm light cast a golden glow on the beautiful glass display windows lining the street, making the items inside shimmer.
Though the weather wasn't hot, people were already dressed for summer. Legs gleamed beneath short skirts, and many girls exuded youthful energy—high school students, no doubt.
And among them was Hayashizaki—though more like a spirit following behind.
Yukinoshita Haruno had switched to summer attire: a light yellow camisole layered under a sheer sun-protection jacket, paired with denim shorts. Her legs were toned—not too thin, not too thick, just the right balance of health and beauty. Her calves had a graceful curve, and she wore sneakers over white socks.
"This is your suggestion?" Yukinoshita Haruno asked in their mental link, clearly unimpressed.
The idea of strolling around like a regular high school girl had been Hayashizaki's first suggestion.
Though she was only a first-year, Yukinoshita Haruno was far from an ordinary high school girl. Maybe experiencing a typical weekend for once would feel fresh to her.
"I might be smarter than most and know a bit more, but that doesn't mean I'm some shut-in who never goes out shopping."
"And besides, do you see any girls here wandering around alone?" She rolled her eyes, sounding exasperated.
"Yeah, I didn't think that through." Hayashizaki admitted his mistake without hesitation.
"Act like a regular high school girl—pass."
"Next idea!"
...
They arrived at a baseball practice center.
After paying the fee, Yukinoshita Haruno made her way up to the spacious rooftop on the third floor.
The area was enclosed by tall protective nets, and at the front, there were targets marked with big red crosses along with an electronic scoreboard. A pitching machine stood below, ready to launch baseballs.

She took off her sun-protection jacket and put on a baseball cap. Just like that, her vibe shifted—from a fresh, youthful girl to a confident athlete.
Picking up a bat from the rack, she gave it a few test swings before pressing the button and stepping into position.
"Round one, go!"
As the electronic voice announced the start, the scoreboard lit up with her current score.
Yukinoshita Haruno took a deep breath, her eyes locking onto the pitching machine ahead.
*Whoosh!*
The machine shook slightly, and a baseball shot out toward her. She timed it perfectly and swung hard.
A crisp *crack* echoed as the bat connected with the ball, sending it flying. The scoreboard instantly updated with her points.
"Round two, go!"
The difficulty increased as the rounds progressed, and the ball speed picked up. But each time, she struck the ball dead-on, launching it with force.
Now, the final round.
The ball speed had reached its limit. This time, the whistling sound of it cutting through the air was sharper than ever.
She swung with all her strength—*crack!* The bat sent the ball soaring high into the cloudless blue sky.
Resting the bat on her shoulder, Yukinoshita Haruno looked up, following its arc. The ball eventually landed right on one of the marked targets on the net.
The electronic voice cheered, accompanied by applause: "Home run! Woohoo!"
A faint smile tugged at the corner of her lips. She reached up to remove her baseball cap, shaking her head slightly, causing her sleek black hair to sway. A refreshing festival-like scent lingered in the air.
"How was it?" Hayashizaki asked.
"Not bad. Pretty good stress relief," she said, wiping away a bead of sweat from her chin. Finally, her expression softened into a genuine smile.
You don't have to think about anything—just focus on the baseball flying toward you, swing the bat, and hit it as hard as you can. If only life were that simple.
After a moment, Yukinoshita Haruno shook her head.
"It's fine for fun once in a while, but if I take it as a hobby, wouldn't that mean joining the baseball club? Training sounds like such a hassle, and I have no intention of competing."
"Other sports aren't much different. The effort you put in and the results you get are about the same."
"Is that so?"
In the depths of his mind, Hayashizaki scratched his chin.
Athletic girls? Pass.
...
In a park filled with cherry blossom trees, Yukinoshita Haruno held a sketchbook in her arms, her charcoal pencil moving across the rough paper.
Every now and then, she lifted her head to take in the scenery, then lowered it again, adding more details to her sketch.
May wasn't cherry blossom season, so only a few pink petals stubbornly clung to the branches. People came and went, some stopping for a moment before moving on—becoming part of the scene she was drawing.
Before long, the sketch was complete.
Yukinoshita Haruno held her sketchbook at a distance, admiring her work with a satisfied nod.
"Not bad. Have you practiced?" Hayashizaki asked curiously.
"I've learned almost every skill you can name—drawing is just one of them," she said casually.
"I studied it, but since it never became a real interest, I stopped at just learning."
Yukinoshita Haruno spoke softly, stretched lazily as she stood up, and glanced around.
She noticed a little girl who had been watching her for a while. Smiling, she waved at her.
The girl, with two high pigtails, lit up with joy when she saw the pretty lady who had been drawing wave at her. She eagerly ran over.
"Do you like it?" Yukinoshita Haruno showed her the sketch.
"I love it! Big sister, you draw so well!" The girl's eyes stayed glued to the paper as she nodded quickly like a little chick pecking at rice.
"If you like it, it's yours."
Yukinoshita Haruno ruffled the girl's hair with a smile and handed her the drawing along with the sketchbook.
"Really?! Thank you, big sister!"
The girl's eyes sparkled with excitement. She took the sketchbook and, standing on her tiptoes, gave Yukinoshita Haruno a light kiss on the cheek.
"Bye, big sister!"
Hugging the sketchbook tightly, she ran off happily.
Watching the tiny figure disappear into the distance, a short-haired girl sighed.
"Yukino used to be even cuter than her... But now, she doesn't cling to me as much anymore."
Drawing? Pass.
