Transmigrated: The Lycan King's Pet-Chapter 125 Humiliated
Chapter 125: Chapter 125 Humiliated
(Third Person POV)
Maddie sat alone by the window, her fingers dragging lightly across the glass. The sky outside was gray, heavy with clouds, but she barely noticed it.
The few days had been a nightmare to her. One she couldn’t wake from.
She had planned everything perfectly. The aphrodisiac. She had been so sure Damon would hate Ember, and that he would finally see her as the Luna she was meant to be.
Instead, he made a fool of her. He ruined her plans, and humiliated her. He broke her pride in front of the pack... and now, she was bound to three low-ranked betas.
Her lip curled in disgust just thinking about them. She didn’t remember their faces, and she didn’t want to. They were beneath her... and they didn’t worth her. They were simply nameless, scentless mutts that followed her around everywhere she went. They were as annoying as a fly.
Her stomach twisted with disgust.
They pampered her like she was fragile. One brought her breakfast every morning. Another massaged her feet without being asked. The third hovered like a lost puppy, always checking if she needed something. But none of it mattered to her. Their scents, their voices... it all reminded her of what she’d lost.
She was supposed to be Luna, not some ruined girl bonded to scraps of the pack.
She had intended to kill them... but with her father protecting them, it made it difficult to do so.
Her jaw clenched as she stood, the chair scraping back behind her. Her mind spun with anger, the heat of it pressing against her ribs. She couldn’t remain bonded to those low lives.
She stormed through the halls past guards who lowered their heads and pack members who dared not meet her eyes.
They all knew what happened. The whole pack had gossiped about it, reducing her to nothing but a spectacle for shame.
She hated them all for it, and would have ripped their throat out... but her father keeps protecting them. Her jaws clenched in anger.
Reaching her father’s study, she didn’t bother to knock. She pushed the door open, stepping inside with purpose.
Alpha Caelen looked up from his desk, his expression unreadable. "Maddie."
"I want the bond severed," she said flatly.
He didn’t respond right away. He set his pen down and leaned back in his chair, his calm eyes locking with her furious one.
"It’s not that simple," he finally said.
"I don’t care if it’s simple or not," she snapped. "You’re the Alpha. You can find a way."
Caelen sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "What do you want me to do? Kill them? That would break the bond but it might drive you insane. You’re marked, Maddie. You let it happen... now let fate take its course."
Maddie’s brows furrowed in disappointment. "I didn’t let it happen," she hissed. "Damon forced the drug down my throat."
"And you drugged his pet," Caelen said calmly. "Don’t act like you didn’t start this."
Maddie’s face flushed. Her hands balled into fists at her sides.
Her father looked tired. "You’re lucky he didn’t tear your throat out. Now live with it, you should be able to swallow the food you dished out."
She stared at him, fury rising like bile. "So that’s it?"
"That’s it." He picked up his pen again.
She laughed hysterically. "I knew it... You are supporting Ember while throwing me aside. If you really cared about me you would have taken revenge for me. But you stood still and watched Alpha Damontake Ember away!"
"Have you lost some nuts now?" Alpha Caelen paused, his eyes scrutinizing her. "You didn’t only humiliate yourself, you brought shame to the silver moon pack! I’m so disappointed in you Maddie... you don’t have any right to play the victim now."
Maddie stood unmoving for a moment, her heart bleeding from her father’s words.
"You’ll regret this father." she growled.
She turned and walked out of the study room. Her body shook with anger as she slammed the door behind her, her breathing was uneven as she walked. Her thoughts spun in every direction, but they all came back to one thing: She would never forgive this.
’Fine.’
If her father wouldn’t help her, she’d help herself.
By the time she reached her quarters, her rage had simmered into something colder.
Her mates stood when she entered, their faces lighting up like she was the sun they orbited. Disgust rose in her throat, she wished to gut them at that moment.
She walked to the center of the room and sat down slowly, crossing one leg over the other. "Massage my shoulders." she ordered.
Two of them moved at once, kneeling behind her without hesitation. The third stood awkwardly, unsure where to place himself.
She let the silence stretch, enjoying the weight of it. They deserved to squirm.
After a moment, she spoke again. "You want me to accept you, don’t you?"
They nodded quickly, eager.
"Then prove it."
The room went still for a moment longer.
Her voice remained calm, almost sweet. "I want one of you to deliver a message. Do it quietly, no one can know it came from me."
The betas exchanged glances, a little bit nervous now.
A sinister smile formed on her lips. "Take it to the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack. Tell him I have a proposal."
She saw the way their shoulders tensed when she mentioned the blood moon pack. None of them dared ask what the message was about.
"Which one of you is brave enough?" she asked, voice laced with amusement. "Or will you let each other fight over it?"
One of them stepped forward. His name was probably Evan... or Eric. Whatever his name was, she didn’t care. "Good," she said softly, turning her head just enough to meet his eyes. "Don’t disappoint me."
He nodded and left without another word. Maddie leaned back into the hands of the other two. They quickly massaged her shoulders.
She stared ahead, her expression calm now, her eyes sharp.
Damon thought he had won, and Ember thought she was safe. But neither of them knew what she was capable of. They took everything from her... her pride, her future, her name.
She would take something in return. And she wouldn’t stop until they both felt what she had felt.
