Watching the black luxury car gradually disappear into the distance, the smile on Han Yu’s face did not fade.

He slid his hand into his pocket and clenched the business card inside.

When Rong Xingyu received the good news from Han Yu, he was lazily reclining on the sofa while eating tangerines that Ding Yixin had peeled by hand.

Ding Yixin broke open another tangerine.

The peel of this tangerine was still completely green.

There was a note of restraint in Ding Yixin’s voice, yet Rong Xingyu maintained that same posture and lifted his head.

Ding Yixin immediately stood up and placing one knee on the sofa as he pressed Rong Xingyu down beneath him.

He kissed Rong Xingyu’s lips deeply and fiercely.

When the kiss finally ended, their foreheads rested against each other, both of them breathing rapidly.

But considering Rong Xingyu’s current physical condition, they did not go any further.

After their breathing had mostly calmed, Ding Yixin let out a low chuckle.

"So sour."

But Rong Xingyu’s lips were sweet.

Rong Xingyu snorted softly and kicked Ding Yixin’s leg with his foot, acting spoiled. "I still want to eat."

So Ding Yixin sat back down again and obediently resumed peeling tangerines for Rong Xingyu without complaint.

Rong Xingyu could not help wondering, When would he finally be able to "unload the cargo"?

He looked at Rong Xingyu and placed a kiss on the back of his hand.

He swept Rong Xingyu up from the sofa and cradling him in his arms.

"Yuyu, don’t be scared. We’re going to the hospital now."

Afraid that anything might happen to Rong Xingyu, Ding Yixin had already arranged everything with the hospital in advance.

The doctors and nurses had all signed confidentiality agreements not to disclose anything about Rong Xingyu’s condition.

Just as Ding Yixin was about to carry Rong Xingyu out, the little merman reached up and grabbed hold of his shirtfront.

The tension on Rong Xingyu’s face had eased compared to moments before.

He shook his head. "No... not the hospital."

Seeing Rong Xingyu like this, Ding Yixin assumed the little merman just didn’t like hospitals and was feeling resistant.

It probably looked like some kind of "body disposal scene."

But in reality, Ding Yixin’s movements were incredibly gentle, terrified of hurting Rong Xingyu.

Then, out of nowhere, Rong Xingyu produced a tiny conch shell from somewhere.

He pressed the pointed end to his lips and blew into it like it was a trumpet.

Although Ding Yixin couldn’t hear any sound, he realized the little merman had somehow managed to make the conch "sound" through some special method.

Because soon enough, waves surged on the surface, and then an enormous sea turtle paddled forward, parting the water as it swam toward them.

And Rong Xingyu clearly knew this turtle.

He waved and smiled in greeting. "Grandpa Sea Turtle!"
