Transmigrated with my corruption system-Chapter 35: The Young Lord’s Legend Begins [I]
Back inside the Greyson residence, a deathly silence filled the hall as every elder’s gaze was locked on the shimmering screen above.
Any wagers were momentarily forgotten, tension rising with every second.
Their expectations had been subverted far too many times than they cared to count, and only now was the realization settling in. The figure up ahead was not just a monstrous genius, but an anomaly.
And as they watched him head deeper into the final chambers of the boss, not a shred of doubt was visible on their faces, only pure certainty.
This was it. The moment the first Greyson would clear the dungeon on their first try and rewrite history across all of Tempest City.
The moment was so close they could almost see it. Their eyes narrowed, concentration heightening as only one question played at the back of their minds.
With all the power he had displayed...
Was it enough to defeat the creature that lurked at the end? They couldn’t wait.

Inside the dungeon, time slipped by as 24 hours passed since the awakened entered.
At that exact moment, green portals shimmered all across the dungeon, appearing beside every awakened that remained.
A commotion stirred as murmurs echoed across the tunnels.
"Haha! Finally I get to leave this shithole!"
"This place sucks. I’m out."
"I agree. I’m tired... I don’t think I can fight another monster."
"I don’t want to die!"
"I wanna go home."
Just as the commotion swept across the dungeon, a violent tremor erupted, causing the dungeon walls to shake rapidly.
A chilling energy filled the dungeon. A few seconds passed before the walls stilled.
But everyone had already felt it.
The commotion was instantly snuffed out as new murmurs rose, their fatigue fading as adrenaline pumped through their bodies at the cause of the phenomenon.
"Wait... did you feel that?" one youth muttered in one of the dungeon tunnels.
"Who didn’t fucking feel it?"
"B-but... this... it doesn’t make sense. It can only mean someone’s challenging the final boss."
As the words fell, a cold silence descended over all the awakened across the dungeon, each trying to process the realization.
As a single name rang across their minds.
"It can’t be... the young lord."
"Has his strength grown enough to challenge the final boss in the span of one day?"
Multiple questions filled with doubt rose as those about to step out of the dungeon suddenly stopped, slowly heading toward the depths of the dungeon to clear their doubts.
The same events replayed everywhere across the dungeon.
In one dungeon tunnel, a familiar coordinated group of seven came into view.
Currently battling a level dark wolf before the dungeon suddenly shook violently. Causing the beast to scamper off into the distance, leaving the group dazed.
At the back, a youth clad in a simple robe clenched his bow tightly, his eyes widening for a moment.
His progress had nearly blinded him for a second. Advancing to level 8 within a day as a C-rank would have earned him the title of a genius. But anomalies existed.
The thought didn’t discourage him. Instead, a slow smile curved across his lips. Back then, when he was just another regular awakened watching from behind the safe zone, everything had been blurry during the young lord’s display of power.
He wondered if anything had changed now.
Could a figure such as him be predicted?
Without another thought, he ignored the green portal that had just flared beside him, heading toward the depths of the dungeon.
The group behind him followed as well, seeing the excitement in Kaiden’s eyes.
Realizing there were clearly levels even among geniuses.

At another dungeon tunnel, a young adorable girl stood lost in her fantasies, clutching a huge shield.
Still reeling from the praise. Before the dungeon suddenly shook violently, snapping her out of it.
Before the rest of the team members around her could regain their composure, a yelp echoed from her as she suddenly rushed into the dungeon depths.
"My husband... he’s facing the dungeon’s final boss... I’m coming to see!"
As her words settled, gasps rippled across the group as a black-haired youth shook his head repeatedly.
When he’d said Miss Elya was a match for the young lord... he hadn’t expected her to take it seriously.
It seemed her shamelessness really was unmatched.
He groaned before heading deeper into the dungeon as well. The teammates trailing behind, unable to resist the curiosity eating at them.

Elsewhere in another dungeon tunnel, a golden-robed youth stood overlooking a pile of level ten beasts burned into cinders.
The temperature around him raged like an inferno as he chuckled to himself.
"Haha! With this, even you aren’t a match for me. Soon—"
The rest of his words caught in his throat as the dungeon trembled violently, causing his eyes to widen as he instantly recognized the phenomenon.
Someone had already grown strong enough to challenge the final boss. As the thought formed, only one figure’s name came to mind.
Had he grown to such an extent? If so, then this level of power was nothing more than a joke. Unable to believe it, Cedric cursed under his breath.
His fingers clenched tightly as he rushed toward the depths of the dungeon. He would only believe it if he saw it with his own eyes.
He refused to accept that someone could move from level zero to challenge the final boss of an F-rank dungeon in a single day.
"No... that can’t be true," he muttered to himself. Unable to accept it as reality because of the monstrous concept behind it.
Advancing to peak F-rank in a single day.
Behind him, Asher followed closely, still reeling from the shock. Multiple emotions flickered across her face. Being a healer at Cedric’s side had been rewarding.
But she couldn’t help thinking that maybe if she hadn’t shown even an ounce of arrogance toward Ulric, he might have let her join him.
The regret clawed at her as she pushed forward.

Elsewhere inside another dungeon tunnel, the figure of a blue-robed maiden came into sight.
Her eyes were tightly closed, a staff clenched firmly in her hands as a pack of wolves surrounded her.
The weakest being level ten, the strongest also level ten. Their numbers nearly reaching ten. Yet even with all this, not a shard of fear was visible on her face. Only freezing coldness.
When the pack charged forward, a single word parted from her lips.
"Freeze."
Instantly, the staff in her hands glowed faintly as her mouth widened. Frosty breath escaped, encapsulating the charging figures.
When it came into contact, their bodies lit up with a blue sheen. Instantly freezing in place, no matter their level.
Sensing the change, the maiden’s eyes opened, revealing a pair of striking blue eyes.
Glimmering faintly with frost energy.
Walking forward, she extended her hand, smooth supple skin coming into sight.
When her figure brushed against one of the charging beasts locked in motion, microfractures raced across its surface before it shattered into shards of ice.
"Level 12, huh?" the girl murmured, feeling the level of energy coursing through her body.
Was this enough? She mused as the promise echoed at the back of her mind.
Her thoughts were suddenly cut short as the dungeon rocked violently, instantly pulling her attention away.
The icy expression on her face slowly melted into a warm smile.
"I’m coming," she breathed before rushing toward the depths of the dungeon.
Similar scenes erupted across the dungeon as the elders watched all the awakened head toward the depths.
To witness the birth of a legend.
