CHAPTER 60 part 1

The location of the tour was set in a certain city in the colder north. It was already evening when they got off the plane, and it was already snowing.

In the past, Ruan Jiu Jiu had to worry about traveling by herself, but now, Cheng Jun takes care of all kinds of trivial matters. The pick-up taxi arrived at the airport early to help them stuff their suitcase into the trunk.

Ruan Jiu Jiu yawned.

She didn’t sleep on the plane, so she had to take a good rest tonight.

She arrived at the hotel in a daze, and this time was obviously more crowded than the last time they were in a quiet private resort. In the lobby on the first floor, a resident singer was playing the guitar while singing “City in the Sky”. There were only a few people in the seats, and the lights were dim but warm. Cheng Jun was going through the registration procedures, and Ruan Jiu Jiu was in a good mood while listening to the song.

“Do you want to come down and listen to the song later??” Cheng Jun asked.

“Tomorrow, today I just want to have a good rest.”

The booked room was a luxury suite. It was on the top floor of the hotel and was comparable to a hotel-style apartment, but more spacious and luxurious than the place where they live. Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, Ruan Jiu Jiu was able to see the ski slopes and the rolling hills, with white snow falling on the mountain tops.

There was a spacious living room, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and an entertainment room with Nintendo game consoles and projectors. There was even a small freezer next to the sofa with rows of wine and drinks.

Ruan Jiu Jiu suddenly felt a bit of pain: “Such a big house will definitely be not cheap.”

Cheng Jun was taking off his coat, and when he heard that, he blinked and said the amount without changing his expression.

…Of course, one zero was excluded.

The unknowing Ruan Jiu Jiu felt even more distressed: “It’s almost worth my month’s rent.”

Cheng Jun glanced at her again and said slowly: “Next time you want to live somewhere, buy it.”

Ruan Jiu Jiu immediately waved her hand: “I’m sorry, I don’t have the habit of a rich man like you.”

They can choose to go to the buffet in the lobby for dinner or directly have it delivered. Ruan Jiu Jiu didn’t bother to come down, so, she let Cheng Jun order a meal, and take a shower by herself. There was a bathtub in the bathroom. Ruan Jiu Jiu squatted by the bathtub and studied it for a long time, and then she chooses among several kinds of aromatherapy.

She soaked in the bathtub happily. The warm water moistened her skin, a few drops of essential oil melted in the water, and a faint smokey scent lingered, which was simply a divine experience.

She opened a bottle of red wine, took a sip, and put it on the table.

Ruan Jiu Jiu fell asleep without knowing it.

She slept deeply that she didn’t even hear the sound of food being delivered nor the knock on the door.

When the food had become half cold, Cheng Jun stood at the door of the bathroom and was silent for a moment. He knocked on the door: “It’s time to eat.”

There was no movement in the bathroom.

He knocked on the door again: “Are you still there?”

Still dead silent.

“…”

Cheng Jun remembered that Ruan Jiu Jiu’s alcohol tolerance was low, and he had also seen Ruan Jiu Jiu entered the bathroom with a wine bottle and glass. Suddenly a scene appeared in his mind, Ruan Jiu Jiu was so drunk that she was unconscious and drowned in the bathtub.

The bathroom door was not locked. He twisted it. After the door was opened, he rushed in immediately. In the steamy dense water vapor, Ruan Jiu Jiu suddenly woke up with a scream.

“Stinking rascal!”

A slipper hit precisely on Cheng Jun’s body, and Boss Cheng fled.

Ruan Jiu Jiu really didn’t expect that Cheng Jun would break into the bathroom directly! Fortunately, there was a layer of bubbles floating in the bathtub, which successfully covered her body, otherwise, Ruan Jiu Jiu would definitely end the trip with a 360-degree Armstrong roundhouse kick.

She glared at Cheng Jun: “Say! Have you seen anything you shouldn’t have seen?!”

Cheng Jun said slowly, “Aren’t all human bodies the same?”

“…”

Ruan Jiu Jiu understood that what this dog man meant was that her body was no different from other women, so even if he saw something, he would be indifferent about it. For him, it was just a physical difference.

Is this something that a human being can say? Is this something a man who keeps confessing to her about trying to be together can say?

People can easily do things that they will regret when they are irrational.

Ruan Jiu Jiu looked at him, lazily hooking his loose collar with a thin finger, and pulled it down slightly. The round collar was pulled into a V-neck, revealing a glimpse of snow-white skin on his chest.

She narrowed her eyes and waited for Cheng Jun, a straight single dog, to blush.

“…”

“…”

The two looked at each other, and Cheng Jun asked blankly: “What are you doing?”

TL: XD

Ruan Jiu Jiu: “I’m sorry to interrupt.”

She was so embarrassed that she just wanted to find a hole to drill in. She hurriedly made an excuse to go back to the room to change. While changing her clothes, Ruan Jiu Jiu stood in front of the mirror and carefully looked at her full breasts, delicate skin, and how good-looking she was. As a woman, she was moved by her beauty, but Cheng Jun was indifferent to it.

Ruan Jiu Jiu suddenly doubts whether Cheng Jun really likes her or not.

Or maybe this guy just wants to have a relationship with a 2-dimensional character, and with her platonic sweetness?

Ruan Jiu Jiu was confused. Depressed. Unhappy.

Sitting on the sofa in the living room, Cheng Jun was calmly drinking soda. His complexion was normal, but the tips of his ears were red and surprisingly hot.

They planned to stay here for four and a half days, and tomorrow they will go skiing and come back to soak in the hot springs. After planning for tomorrow’s whole day’s itinerary, Ruan Jiu Jiu yawned and said, “Then, I’ll go back to my room and sleep.”

Cheng Jun gave a ‘hmm’, without glancing her way, and continued to play on his phone with his head down.

It seems to him that Ruan Jiu Jiu was the demon who tried to confuse people in “Journey to the West”, [1] and he was the monk Tang who was not distracted by the demon.

Ruan Jiu Jiu gave him a depressed look.

Men are big pigs’ hoofs [2]! It was him who begged her to come back!

She went back to her room and went to sleep.

Cheng Jun sat in the living room and finished his fifth bottle of water. The door of Ruan Jiu Jiu’s bedroom was closed, the lights were turned off, and shortly, there was no movement.

He kept silent, looked at the door of Ruan Jiu Jiu’s bedroom, and suddenly let out a long sigh. He unscrewed the sixth bottle of water, tilted his head, and drank half of it so that the heat in his heart would dissipate quickly.

That night, Ruan Jiu Jiu slept very deeply.

That night also, Cheng Jun looked at the ceiling and didn’t fall asleep until midnight.

The next day, after having breakfast at the hotel, Ruan Jiu Jiu changed her clothes and went skiing with Cheng Jun. Ruan Jiu Jiu had never skied before. According to Cheng Jun, there were instructors in the ski resort who were paid by the hour, and it won’t take long for her to learn.

Ruan Jiu Jiu was very excited along the way: “What should I do if I fall? Won’t it hurt a lot?”

“It won’t.”

“By the way, aren’t you afraid of heights? Don’t you get scared when you ski?”

“No.”

……

‘Robot’ Cheng answered faintly, which makes Ruan Jiu Jiu quickly calmed down.

The ski resort was very large and there were not that many people. The stunning and dazzling snow made Ruan Jiu Jiu subconsciously squint her eyes. The snow was about a calf-deep and it was like stepping on a pit. Ruan Jiu Jiu had never seen such big snow before. For a while, she forgot about the cold, and just kept looking around excitedly.

Just beside her, Cheng Jun had already quietly chosen a female coach among the coaches that are with many men and fewer women.

“You stay right here while I go pay.”

“Okay!”

As soon as Cheng Jun left, skiing tourists and coaches approached Ruan Jiu Jiu, asking for her contact information with the pretense of teaching Ruan Jiu Jiu skiing, but Ruan Jiu Jiu refused all of them. Only one person persevered, who claimed to be a returnee studying abroad. He pestered Ruan Jiu Jiu and said he wanted to get her contact information.

Ruan Jiu Jiu was getting a little impatient when the man suddenly went quiet.

As soon as her shoulders sank, a slender arm was placed on Ruan Jiu Jiu’s shoulders. His strength was not weak, and Ruan Jiu Jiu can be easily swept in his arms.

The back of her head was pressed against his chin, and her whole body was wrapped so tightly that she couldn’t move.

Along with Cheng Jun’s slow pace of speaking, the back of Ruan Jiu Jiu’s head was buzzing a little. She only heard Cheng Jun’s lazy voice above her head: “What’s the matter?”

In the place where Ruan Jiu Jiu can’t see, Cheng Yun’s slender eyes slightly lifted halfway up, his eyes were dark. It was said that If someone talked casually, it will make other people relax, but when those pair of eyes slyly look directly at someone, it will make the other person’s hair stand up and get goosebumps all over his body.

The returnee instantly lost his voice and then said grimly: “Sorry, sorry, I still have things to do, sorry to interrupt.”

He left with a grimace.

Ruan Jiu Jiu said in a puzzled manner: “Why does he look like he had just seen a ghost?”

Cheng Jun: “Are you trying to say that women are all demons?”

Cheng Jun was smacked before he went skiing. He looked so weak, pathetic, and helpless, which left her with a rather forlorn back.

Behind him, Ruan Jiu Jiu sneered and said: “You are right, women are all demons.”

The author has something to say: Ruan Jiu Jiu: If you can be Human, I can be an angel 🙂
